I would have fallen victim to these guys just 2 weeks ago!!, my friend sitting beside me simply told me not to listen to them, insofar as I did not feel any vibrations, later drove into a filling station and did not see any fault. This issue seems to be localized within the benin-ore expressway |
Dear Sirius black, I think it might be in order to post below listed pictures 1) pictures of some of the KILLED animals called BH 2) select pictures of some of carnages wrought by the animals I think it would help people understand the level of bestiality shown by these group and kill any form of sympathy! Please know that these thread would be read by many!!! |
Guys, is it not obvious that the clearly ignorant fellow called quid is trying to derail this thread? There are 3 remedies: 1) Simply ignore all his comments and meaningless quotes 2) MODs or whoever has access should start cleaning up all his bovine comments and contributions to preserve the sanity and sanctity of this thread 3) Last resort is to ban him totally and watch out for any subsequent moniker! Long live sirius black! Long live the brave troops of the NA!! Long live Nigeria!!! |

The commissioner insisted that the church was closed down to prevent imminent outbreak of killer diseases in the area and the state at large as well as serve as deterrent to others. Officials of the state Ministry of the Environment had last week, sealed the headquarters of the church over alleged gross environmental abuse and erection of structures on Odo Asimawu Drainage Channel, System 6c, an allegation residents of the area and commuters have regarded as true. |
After the Lagos State task force on the environment announced shut down of the headquarters of The Lord’s Chosen and Charismatic Revival Church in Ijesha, on Oshodi Apapa Expressway, the church still held Sunday worship and other activities, to the chagrin of those who lauded the government’s action…more so, as the church authorities denied the government shut down the church. The government has now disclosed that services which held in the church were made possible because of a moratorium granted the church for special programmes. Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello, who gave the explanation, said the moratorium which followed an application by the church authorities, expired yesterday. http://www.naijacarrygo.com/2013/10/lagos-explains-why-sealed-lords-chosen.html?m=1 |
@idsolar; Charging via solar does not usually give a steady -48V and for WIMAX BTS that has very low tolerance to fluctuating voltage, this can affect there equipment. We use Solar on a lot of sites and our WIMAX/LTE guys are always complaining, especially once we run on batteries(when the DC DG is on maintenance) |
Does the Passat have any issues? |
The presidency has reacted to claims by Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State that his rift with President Goodluck Jonathan has put his life in danger, saying the governor is a drowning man, whose intention is to pitch Nigerians against the president, who it described as a “gentleman”. Amaechi had in an interview with Sahara TV on Saturday, told his interviewer that “I don’t have an Aide de Camp (ADC). I don’t have a Chief Security Officer. They’ve withdrawn so many policemen. They’ve withdrawn all policemen from the commissioners. I feel unsafe. I just know that they want to kill me. Beg Mr. President to ensure that I’m not killed because I’m sure they are planning towards that.” But the presidency in its response, articulated by the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, decried comments attributed to the Rivers governor, saying such utterances are an indication that Amaechi did not have respect for the office of the President and by extension, the sovereignty of Nigeria. Gulak said, “Amaechi is a drowning man whose plan is just to pitch the President against the people of Rivers State but people of the state know better and they have turned against him (the governor). “On his claim that the President is after his life, Amaechi himself knows that President Jonathan is a peace-loving man who cannot hurt a fly. On the contrary, maybe he is the one planning that against the President. He should stop pitching people against the President. Nigerians know the President that he is a gentleman.” -SUNDAY PUNCH |
@femiolorun, many thanks for your insightful response, What I meant to say is "our sites run on DGs 24/7" Also the DC input is -48V for most BTS on cell sites, does that imply that a 2KVA inverter would serve and what would then be the battery rating? What if an upgrade is done on the BTS? Is it not then better to go for a 3KVA or 5KVA to allow for future upgrade/expansions? Finally, do you sell inverters? If yes please send me a PM so we can discuss better |
Expert inverter engineers, I need your opinions here: 1)what rating of inverter do I need to power a single outdoor BTS equipment on a telecoms site 2) can an inverter be kept outdoors without attendant damage? 3)what are the battery requirements for such an equipment(and can it be kept outdoors?) 4)if the batteries are charged continously without putting off the generators would it affect them?(Our sites run on batteries 24/7) 5)Can I get an inverter that can automatically switch to battery power once it is fully charged from the DG and and when nearing discharge threshold, reconnect back to DG power? 6)What effect would modified sine wave or pure sine wave have on the bts(which is better for the bts) Note: that minimum DG power on all cell sites is 13KVA and maximum is 27KVA. Please drop your phone number if you answer my questions satisfactorily as I need to make VERY URGENT purchases... Bts(base transceiver station) Dg(diesel generator) |
My second month in marriage to a lady I dated for 6years and I must admit that you can never know it all during dating... Churches require EFCC approval before withdrawing even a kobo from their accounts with banks. **most churches have to cancel their crusades because the fund to organise it were trapped in banks. **one is confused at how pastors, especially in the South East, South West and South South have become sponsors and financial backers of Boko Haram from Sanusi’s directives. Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor has frozen the bank accounts of most churches in Nigeria under what his office claimed to be seeking for sponsors of Boko Haram. Many churches have been stranded since the past two weeks due to their inability to withdraw money from most commercial banks due to a CBN directive that they must provide their list of shareholders and directors before they could access their funds. Sanusi is much aware that churches and Mosques in Nigeria do not have shareholders or directors. The churches in addition are required to fill forms which will be taken to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for endorsement before even a kobo will be withdrawn by them. This stance of the CBN under Sanusi have crippled a lot of church activities within the past two weeks. In Enugu, a cleric who anchors Healing Has Begun crusade, Archbishop A.A Nwodika had course to cancel a crusade because the fund to prosecute it was trapped in banks. In the same note, the preparations for the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) biennial conference in Enugu State billed for next month is being hampered because PFN cannot access their account and their State chairman, Bishop Obi Onubogu whose attempt to access the funds was unsuccessful had called upon concerned members to assist them with aid so that the conference does not fail. This stance of the CBN was principally given as caused by the determination of the Bank to fish out financial sponsors of terrorism including the routes through which they launder money. The Christian Association of Nigeria have threatened a showdown with CBN and whosoever is responsible for the order. The CAN leadership under Oritsejafor had asked all the churches affected not to fill any form in any bank . They asked their members whose funds have been so seized to forward such evidences to their respective state secretariat for onward transmission to the National secretariat. The legal adviser of CAN have threatened legal redress if Sanusi and his cohorts at CBN do not lift the order. CAN leadership gave the order at Umuahia last week when they converged to inaugurate the newly elected Abia State Chapter of the organization. They argued that churches are registered under Act C which is for non governmental organization while the CBN demands is for Act F which obtains for business organizations. What is surprising to many is that President Goodluck Jonathan had earlier said that Boko Haram sponsors are in his government. His special assistants on Media, Reuben Abati and Doyin Okupe had alluded to the fact that Boko Haram is sponsored by certain Northern Muslims. Therefore, one is confused at how pastors and gospel ministers, especially in the South East, South West and South South have suddenly become sponsors and financial backers of Boko Haram from Sanusi’s directives. Those involved in money laundering are politicians and public servants and these people are accessing their funds freely while churches and pastors are being unnecessarily victimized and indirectly tagged sponsors of Boko Haram. Guys please see below http://naijacarrygo..co.uk/2013/06/boko-haram-members-attack-4-churches-in.html?m=1 |
One month after the declaration of emergency rule in order to fight insurgency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, violence has erupted again, as gunmen suspected to be members of the Islamist terrorist’s sect attacked four communities of Hwa’a, Kunde, Gathahure and Gjigga of Gwoza Hills settlements, torching four churches with Improvised Explosives Devices (IEDS) and petro-bombs Thursday afternoon. According to Tada Garuta, a resident of Kunde, the gunmen climbed the hills on foot with explosives and petro-bombs, and chanted ‘God is great’ in Arabic, before setting four local churches ablaze; and ransacked and emptied their bans of grains along with some livestock to the next community of Gathahure and Hwa’a at dawn. The attacked communities are located in Gwoza council area of Borno state of Mandara Hills, and 151 kilometres South of Maiduguri, the state capital. Two churches at Hrazah and Hembe of hill dwellers communities; were also torched by the gunmen in April this year with the killing of two residents. Garuta also told newsmen in the Maiduguri, Bama road Motor Park on Sunday that after torching another church in Hwa’a community, the gunmen also killed Reverend Jacob Kwiza (rtd) of Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN), while picking mangoes at his father’s orchard on the hills settlement of Hwa’a. |
Is this fellow talking about the same dirt-infested state... No doubt seeking attention from his governor |
Bobajo: People of high moral standing all over this thread!!! I am so impressed. But please consider:You are absolutely right on the money. I am absolutely shocked at the outpourings of vituperation at the OP. Infact I applaud her courage in facing her issues and her brevity in response to all myriad of abuses emanating from the childish, ignorant, do-gooders on NL. "He that standeth should take heed lest he fall" is all I have to say OP, cut off every line of communication with the guy, that should help and don't listen to all this ppls spewing thrash and being so judgemental on this forum |
