Nihilist: Sergio is the best bro.
I can't even think about Puyol without thinking about this
Every defender in the history of Football has been made to look silly at one point or another so it's nothing new. However what we can't overlook is Puyol's importance to those Dominant spanish teams. He was the LEADER and Organiser of that defence. |

fredoooooo: I love puyol but bro Sergio is the best It's very close. Touch and Go really. For the National team, Puyol was definitely the better performer. However If we take Club performances into consideration, then MAYBE Ramos edges it. |

Nihilist: Laugh actually wan tear my belle that day. James Haskell asking the ref for tactical instructions was so funny.
To be honest, I didn't even know you could beat offside like that, and I say fair play to the Italians for trying it on.
All Italian sportsmen are dirty cünts. I think it's now been proven as scientific law Hahahahaaha Dude it was surreal. Even one of the commentators on the beeb or was it itv said He had never seen it(Players asking the ref for the interpretation of a rule) in all His years of calling the game. Neither Did I tbh. When it Happened the first and second time, I was expecting the ref to call an infringement alas no. It wasn't until one of the commentators explained it that I realised. Very cheeky of them Loool I'm afraid the Italians are not to blame this time. Blame the Paddys . Conor O'shea apparently told the media to expect "Something" a day or two before. No one knew what the little Irish git was cooking |

A40: I don't agree with this but its an opinion thing.
As for Oscar winning/ Oscar worthy that's neither here nor there. They gave McCounaghey on a year Wolf Of Wall street came out can't take the award that deeply. Shutter Island didn't even make the list and for me Aviator was as good if not better than Ray It's definitely an opinion thing. I really rate Leo but He is just currently not on DDL's level. Jamie Foxx's performance in Ray was moving and awe inspiring. He Imo deserved it. |

Nihilist: This guy just blew up with no warning like Isis.
After seeing him on House of Cards, next thing I saw him playing a cop in one film like that where he got murked quick, then baba turned up like a BOSSS in the otherwise disappointing Luke Cage, and now he's won an Oscar.
Very classy dude, no homo. For real though. He blew like no man's business. One minute He was playing a minor role in films the next He is giving an oscar acceptance speech. As I said earlier, it could not have happened to a nicer bloke. Btw what do you make of the fall out from the England vs Italy game? In my opinion, Eddie was simply making a mountain out of a molehill. Sure it is slightly underhand tactics but nowhere in the rules of the game does it state it's forbidden. Tbh I was glad to see the Boys in blue compete after two disastrous weekends. |

A40: Una must always hype una British people sha. Di Caprio should definitely be sitting on multiple Oscars is all I know. Aside Revenant I could point out 3-5 Oscar worthy efforts Tbh the British are the best Actors in Hollywood. Unlike Most America Actors, the Brits actually do go to acting schools and it shows. "Oscar worthy" and "Oscar Winning" efforts are two different things though. |

A40: Wolf of Wall Street was Leo at his Magnum Opus. Gangs of New York, Catch me If you can, Shutter Island, Aviator. Are other films I would put over Revenant. Its a travesty and crying disgrace that Di Caprio isn't sitting on 3-4 Oscar's 3-4 Oscars? That's Daniel Day Lewis territory. Not happening brah. Glad my boy Mahershelala Ali won an Oscar. Nihilist: Co-signed though I find that the area you grow up in has increasingly little to do with how street you are these days. Mass Media, Music and Cultural Appropriation don change the whole setting. Upper/middle class white bread types dey run around claiming roadman these days speaking slang and forming hard.
I also agree with Ibime's assesment of the situation. Combine it with this white yute tendency to form 'emo' and 'I hate my parents', throw in fame and significant fortune, and what we're seeing now is what is what you get. I was actually going to tag you as I'm pretty sure you know that area quite well. I agree with you when you say where you grow up has little to do with how street you are these day however "Acting Street" and actually living that lifestyle are two different things. Your average White yute from Toxteth is actually living that life whilst one from a nice neighbourhood in surrey is simply acting it. |

Ibime: I'm not highlighting one game. I'm trying to show the vast difference between a legend Xavi and someone not in his class who got undue accolade by association with him. I'm not blaming him for a 4-0 loss, just trying to correct unfair ranking in the game and clear misconception about who is responsible for Barcas famed midfield. The difference between the two legends is not vast. It's minimal to say the lest. How is He getting undue accolades? These are personal awards you know not some random team awards. It shows the part He played a SIGNIFICANT part in His team's sucess. Ibime: The crux of the message is watch what Iniesta looks like in a normal team like most of his mates have had to do their whole careers. Iniesta can't tell anyone that he has done his part, let them do theirs. 2 goals and 4 assists per season is not doing your part, it's riding coattails. I'd rather watch what He looked like in the peak of His career. He sure was magnificent during that period. If Iniesta were to retire tomorrow, He'll be known as a Legend of the game. He has nothing else to prove again. He has earnt the right to tell younger teammates to step up their game. The only way is down for a now 33year old Iniesta. Let the young Uns make a name for themselves like He has done. Ibime: There is a reason why Busquets looks like League One player these days. Xavi made everything easy for him by dominating possession completely so Busquets lack of pace won't be exposed. That's something you do by making 100 passes per game like Xavi, not by making 55 passes like Iniesta. In tems of Midfield domination the ball, Xavi is possibly the best there has ever been. So He is bound to make things easier for His teammates. However in 2015 when Xavi just a bit part player in the Barca team, why did Busquets not look like a league one player then? Ibime: In a nutshell, the famed "Xavi & Iniesta" that commentators like to eulogise was never Iniesta, it was just Xavi. Iniesta only came for the ridealong. A ride along that has dominated every Major Finals there is to dominate. He must be one super duper Tag along then. |

The last time these two teams met, Iniesta was the one pulling the strings. He wasn't ontop of His game today. Let one of His teammates step up their game too |

Then you may be given one cap so you can't play for anyone else. Zaha was lucky that his England cap was not in a competitive game.
Now he is playing for Cote de Ivoire. Pulling the "Race Card" yet again eh? If you are good enough, you'll be selected. It has little to do with race. |

hensben: FROM A FRIEND WHO IS A JUVENTUS FAN- You have to acknowledge some things: 1. Don't listen to Arrigo Sacchi, he has long history of saying stupid things and being jelous of success of other coaches. 2. Conte's Juventus was not that strong personally as you think, there was a lack of power in attack for the most of the time he was there, there was no Higuain, Dybala but Mirko Vucininc, Alessandro Matri and Quagliarella. Carlos Tevez was there in the last season with Morata who was adapting. 3. Juve had very limited finances at that time and not much space to move in transfer market, today's Juventus have at least three times bigger budget that it was when Conte started working in Turin. Now they can spend 150-200M euro, that was not the case 5 years ago by far. 4. Another problem of his Juventus was lack of expirience in Europe, Max Allegri in his first season reached UCL final and there was a lot of Conte's work in that success. 5. Don't be afraid about collapse in league this season, after two losses in a row Conte will start to kill people in a dressing room, that simply is not going to happen with this coach. 6. I know what I'm saying, I'm long time Juventus supporter and I can tell all Chelsea fans that you're blessed with one of the greatest managers in this generation.
....And someone was/is saying Conte failed in UCL with Juventus. 1. Not surprised coming from a Juve Fan. That is to be expected 2. Who Is He kidding? Tell that to those that don't follow Serie A. The 2013/2014Juve was every bit as strong as the 2014/2015 Juve. The core of the that team was pretty much the same. 3. Neither did Allegri when He got them to the CL Finals. So that point is moot. 4. Inexperience really? A team that regular qualifies for the CL inexperienced? A team that is packed full of seasoned veterans inexperienced? Interesting 5. True... Conte is borderline psychotic. 6. Absolutely Agree. Great Coach and A fantastic footballer. And that's how It should be for now. |

TRendlona: It's not abt the presence of Xavi, it's abt Pep and Enrique's style of play. If you put a peak Xavi in this current Barca side, they'll almost certainly dominate ball possesion. |
