Even that rotund buffoon Charles Barkley dey join them to yab Durant. Amnesia no kuku allow am remember say he ran to go and join Hakeem and Drexler to play for a ring in 96
Different though. Charles Barkley was already on the decline then(Durant is in his pomp). Plus the bulls were the best team not the Rockets. What Durant did is Akin to Sir Charles teaming up with Jordan and Pippen back in 91-92. Or Zeke teaming up with the Celtics back in the mid 80s. Don't blame him though. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

The only good point Dayo has made thus far is that it's been a long time since a player plying his trade in England has been the best player at a Major championship. And it sure looks like thata will definitely be the case for atleast another 2 years.

If Portugal wins, Ronaldo wins the Award
If France wins, Greizman wins the Award.

You only have UEFA to blame for that. As if having home advantage was not good enough. If it was the other way round no way would it have been given

Kante is coming back. French midfield is not as weak as italy's. dont expect complete german dominance as you saw it against italy that has almost all the experienced midfielders unavailable. Germany may win but i am 100 % sure german defence will be exposed. Hummels was superb as always against italy. Now is the time for boateng to show us that he is not a volleyball player.
Most definitely.... German won't be as dominant as they were vs Italy(they'll still have more of the ball). That french midfield is better both physically and talent wise than the lads we had last night. It's the defence however that might be their undoing. The strikers won't have it as tough as they did vs Italy.

grin grin grin grin grin...You don start with your again abi? Free Boateng abeg cheesy... Mustafi is obviously not as good or experienced as Hummels so it's up to Boateng to assume the leadership role once again. If I were Loew, i'll play with a back three come back five like He did against Italy. Pin back both Evra and Sagna.

The way Frehc defence has been struggling with crosses we would have needed a point man like Gomez

Also missing Hummels Gomez, Khedira is missing most of our tallest players and given how physical French are in the middle and on set pieces it would be a big challenge,

Maybe it would be best to set up conservatively and counter
That's why I said for me Gomez is the biggest miss. Players like Gomez and Pelle would thrive against that french backline. After Gomez, Hummels is the next biggest miss. The central defence pairing of Boateng-Hummels would have handled the French strike force pretty well. Not too sure about the dude coming in to replace Mats.

I am certain one of Khedira or Bastian will be fit. I'll set up the exact same way you did against Italy. Keep things tight and dominate possesion. Do that and chances will come your way. If you guys are able to dominate possesion, France's physicality might even work in your favour.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by chic2pimp(m): 9:35pm On Jul 03, 2016
Mario Gomez will be the biggest miss there. You guys will certainly create chances against france. Turning those chances into goals will be the main issue.

Correct guy. Una try well well. The way these fixtures were drawn ehn. This should have been the Finals

Looking at Belgium's cheap route to the Final which they bungled makes it even all the more infuriating

I agree with pretty much everything you said. France with home support would be tough if they advance but beating you guys finally should give us enough confidence

Conte proved his mettle with this Italian squad. Lets hope his replacement lives up to standard. I still think this present squad can make noise in Russia. Just need a bit of luck and hopefully Buffon can still go
Absolutely agree. You clearly remember me moaning about our path to the finals. It's one pressure game after another. Anyhoo it's done and dusted now.

France will definitely provide you with a stern test especially now Hummels is missing however I believe your coach being more tactical astute would swing it in your favour. He'll come up with the right formation to neutralise france. I'll be disappointed if you don't go all the way now.

Here is hoping He is. I think we can too but hopefully we won't have as many injuries as we did this year. In Milan's Romagnoli and Juve's Ruga, we have two defenders ready to continue our steep tradition. Buffoon staying is key though. For now I can not imagine an Azzuri team without his presence.

Yea , thats football. I would have loved to watch a complete italian midfield against the germans. Barring any moment of madness again by boateng , germany should win this cup. I have been saying it long time ago, a defender proned to stupid mistakes cant be called the best defender in my book. Boateng and errors are like that red devilish club in mancehster, very united.
So would I..... As soon as it was confirmed De Rossi would be out of the tie, I knew an already tough tie became tougher. As I said though, Injuries and suspensions are part of football. Yh They should kick on from here. They have the best and most complete team in the tourney.

grin grin grin grin I am sure Boateng would have learnt from his error today.

Congrats A40,Raumdeuter, Pkasso and co. Well deserved victory. You guys were better on the night. Shame we had to you meet you guys so early though. Also thought both defences were great on the night(Boateng,Bonucci,Barzagli,Chiellini,Hummels). I reckon only over confidence and complacency would prevent the Germans from lifting the trophy as I don't think you'll face a team as tactically astute as the Italians are. And I certainly will be cheering you guys on now.

To my Azzuri boys, could not be more proud of the lads than I am tonight. I Gave them no chance whatsoever before the tournament started and boy did they prove me wrong. They could not have given any more than they did tonight considering the quality of the squad Conte had at his disposal. Massively proud of the lads.

FORZA ITALIA!

Truetalk! He bossed the game until that moment of madness. I think he threw up his hands to indicate to the referee that he was not pushing the player in front of him...Stupid thing to do in the penalty box!
Absolutely....Really unlucky from his part. But He should have had his hands behind his back or on his side.

My problem with him is he cant do without his school boy's mistakes at top level. You cant turn football pitch to church where you will be throwing your hands up as if Baba Adeboye asked you to shout alleluyah. Germany should thank their luck italy are without verratti and co in that midfield.
.
Loooooool grin... That was rather unfortunate though. Think He was trying to make it clear to the Ref He was not holding on to anyone. And yh the Azzuris are Missing their starting midfield trio of Verrati Marchisio and De Rossi. No excuses from me however, injuries are part of football.

Belgium losing a knockout game 2-1, 10 minutes to go and our 33 million man is still on the bench.

Not looking good.

Nah Denmark won it in 92. Can they go all the way? Why not?

Ref has definitely had a stinker tonighy. Ramsey is out of the SF. Oh boy that's not good.
