I don't believe anyone can build a house in Lagos without approval from government. In fact, officials move around Lagos to inspect and stop building constructions that are not approved by the government. This is a land grabbing move b the government. casualobserver:
You clearly have never built a house in Lagos. Secondly, why are they never able to present the building approvals when the bulldozers turn up? Mynd44:
But why is it that when government move to demolish the owners don't present such approval and documents?
Or since last year have you heard of any home owner taking the state government to court to enforce their rights? Why? Is it because they have no approvals?
Nigerian estate developers will willingly and knowingly buy land designated for farmland, turn it into an estate and start selling and they saying in the background that "government can't demolish, the worst is to ratify"
Ikorodu is another one. They have sold al the farmlands there for private houses. They did.Government said the approvals were Fake or governor didn't sign it. 66 Likes 3 Shares |

Dozis: Chasing shadows. Someone should tell Tinubu and Cardoso to leave Crypto a d it's traders alone. You're not exporting anything and importing everything, yet you want the naira to magically appreciate. Globetroter:
You are importing every single thing you use in your country and you export nothing, and you want your economy and currency to grow? Keep joking. The government better face the real issue and fix it instead of misguided chase of crypto exchanges and Fintech banks. The truth is, those crypto boys will always find a way to carry out their business. Nigeria should do what US did with crypto after many years of fighting it with no success. They found a way to tax crypto asset holders. So while the crypto guys are making money, the government is making money from them by the way of taxing , win win situation. Some countries in Africa like have seen this already and they are ridding on the wing of crypto to develope their economy. Some African countries don't export but import.Yet,their currency exchange never depreciated.Had Tinubu not floated the Naira, there won't be inflation and Naira devaluation.Wherr Una get Una economic jargons from sef?? |

sachidistudios: So true my brother. But how come do bookmakers know who's favorite to win or things to expect in every match? They have this information and they use it to fix odds accurately. If you get access to same level of information they have, you'll wound them badly. Bookmakers are trickis. There will be a particular team that draws at home 6 straight matches and wins always matches. The bookies will give that team 1.20 at home and give the away 4.00.We all knows most home team have an advantage. We will actually pick them to win. Also home teams with a small odd is always punters favourite to win. |
