19yr old Ondo varsity student lures & sedates her longtime friend with drug-laced drink, invites male colleague to r@pe her The Ondo State Police Command has arrested two students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, over an alleged conspiracy and r@pe of a 20-year-old undergraduate. The spokesperson of the command, DSP Olushola Ayanlade, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Monday, November 24, 2025 said preliminary investigations revealed that one of the suspects, Queen Sodo, a 19-year-old undergraduate of the institution, lured the victim, her long-time friend, to her home. Ayanlade said the victim, who had known Sodo since secondary school, accepted a drink later found to have been laced with drugs, rendering her unconscious. When her friend became incapacitated, Queen Sodo reportedly left the room, summoned her male co-conspirator, and kept watch while he r@ped the victim. “The Ondo State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that operatives attached to Akungba Divisional Headquarters have successfully arrested two students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), in connection with a case of conspiracy and r@pe involving a 20-year-old female student of the same school,” the statement read. "This notable operational success underscores the Command’s enhanced capacity to combat crime, made possible through the strategic guidance and unwavering support of the Inspector-General of Police, whose leadership continues to strengthen law enforcement across the state. "Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was invited to the residence of her long-time friend, Queen Sodo ‘f’, 19 years old, also a student of the same school. "Trusting in the longevity of their friendship, which began in secondary school and continued into university, the victim accepted a drink provided by her friend, which was later found to have been laced with drugs, causing her to lose consciousness. "Observing that the victim had become incapacitated, Queen Sodo reportedly cleverly left the room, summoned her male co-conspirator, and kept watch while the crime was being committed. "The victim was subsequently rescued by a neighbour who noticed unusual and inconsistent noise from her neighbor’s room. She was found naked, unconscious, and in a compromising position with the arrested male suspect, and was immediately taken for urgent medical attention. "Following preliminary assessment, she was referred to a specialist hospital for further medical treatment, where she is currently receiving care and recuperating. "Both arrested suspects have confessed to their involvement and the specific roles they played in the crime, providing investigators with crucial information to aid in the prosecution of the case. "Relevant and corroborated exhibits relating to the crime were recovered at the scene, including the bottle of the drug-laced drink, which will be transferred for toxicology examination, all of which have been identified by both the victim and the suspects as connected to the incident. "The suspects are presently in lawful custody, and efforts are ongoing to transfer them to Gender Desk Office, Akure, for further discreet investigation and subsequent prosecution. "The Ondo State Police Command reassures the public that offenders, regardless of cunning or familiarity with their victims, will be apprehended and made to face the full weight of the law. "The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, appreciates the Inspector-General of Police for his unwavering support, which continues to empower the Command to deliver justice decisively and efficiently. “The Command also advises parents and guardians to continuously educate their children on the importance of caution in relationships, including with friends, as even longstanding friendships can be exploited to perpetrate criminal acts.”

Female tenant breaks landlord’s head with pestle after receiving quit notice According to Ugwuanyi, the altercation began when the landlord, a young man who is reportedly an orphan, asked the woman to vacate the property. A woman and her two children have been taken into police custody after she allegedly attacked her landlord with a pestle, striking him on the head. The incident occurred in Umugbabe Ovoko, an Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area community of Enugu State. Enugu-based media personality Chijinkem Ugwuanyi made the news public on Friday, January 31, 2025, sharing details of the case in a Facebook post. According to Ugwuanyi, the altercation began when the landlord, a young man who is reportedly an orphan, asked the woman to vacate the property. Instead of complying, she allegedly lashed out in anger and assaulted him with a pestle, a heavy wooden tool commonly used for pounding food. The severity of the attack remains unclear, as authorities have yet to provide updates on the landlord’s condition. However, the woman and her two children were swiftly arrested and are currently being held by the police as investigations continue. The case has sparked discussions on social media, with many expressing concern over the violence and the circumstances surrounding the eviction notice. While some sympathise with the orphaned landlord, others have questioned the woman’s situation and what may have led to the confrontation. “His Tenant scattered his head with pestle because he asked her to pack out of the house at Umugbabe Ovoko Igbo-Eze South LGA Enugu State. “The woman and her two kids are currently enjoying the weather at Ibagwa, aka police station. “This boy is an orphan, and he only allowed the woman to leave with him because he was the only one in the big house,” he wrote. Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.

Chilling moment TikTok mumfluencer is arrested for poisoning & torturing baby daughter as she begged for cash online THIS is the chilling moment a TikTok influencer was arrested for allegedly poisoning and torturing her baby daughter to receive donations and boost online followers. Footage shows the 34-year-old Aussie mum crying as cops put handcuffs on her before bundling the social media personality in a police car. Queensland Police She said had been recording her child’s battle with a terminal illness on social media The Queensland woman has been charged with child exploitation after “administering poison with intent to harm”. She is also accused of defrauding donors of £30,000 via GoFundMe. The woman is said to have given her child unauthorised prescription and pharmacy medicines to make her sick, according to the cops. She said had been recording her child’s battle with a terminal illness on social media. However, authorities allege that she was instead drugging her one-year-old baby and then filming her while she was in “immense distress and pain”. She was first reported by the medical staff during one of the child’s hospital stays in October last year after experiencing “severe emotional and physical distress and harm”. Cops said in a statement: “The woman carefully concealed her continued efforts to administer the unauthorised medicines until the matter was detected and reported to police by medical staff from a hospital in Brisbane’s south while the child was admitted. “While the child was being subject to immense distress and pain, it is alleged the woman filmed and posted videos of the child.” They allege the woman ignored medical advice and “went to lengths to obtain unauthorised medicines”, which included old medications prescribed to another person in the home. The woman then took photos and videos of her child to “entice monetary donations and online followers”. Tests for unauthorised medicines returned a positive result later in January, the police said. The mum is now under police custody and is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday. Cops claim the child would have become “gravely ill” and “could have died” if she had stayed in the accused’s care. Queensland Police Inspector Paul Dalton said: “[There are] no words for how repulsive offences of this nature are. “We will do everything in our power to remove that child from harm’s way and hold any offender to account. “There is no excuse for harming a child, especially not a one-year-old infant who is reliant on others for care and survival.” It comes after another influencer was arrested at an airport after shooting a firework through a child’s bedroom window on New Year’s Eve. Atallah Younes, 23, was detained at Berlin’s Willy Brandt as he tried to flee the city following the shocking act. In the clip, which received 10,000,000 views before Younes deleted it, the influencer can be seen lighting a firework and firing it at an apartment building. What is Munchausen syndrome by proxy? MANCHAUSEN syndrome by proxy (MSBP), now more commonly referred to as factitious disorder imposed on another (FDIA), is a type of abuse where a caregiver, typically a parent, either falsifies or induces illness in a dependent individual under their care. This dependent person is usually a child, but it could also be an elderly person or someone with a disability. The caregiver may fabricate symptoms, manipulate medical tests, or even physically harm the individual to simulate illness. The precise cause of FDIA is not known, but some specialists believe it may be related to unresolved issues from the abuser’s own childhood or a need for attention and sympathy. The caregiver often possesses some medical knowledge and appears dedicated, which makes detection more challenging. This behaviour is motivated by a desire for attention and sympathy from medical professionals and the wider community, as well as sometimes a sense of power from deceiving those they view as more powerful than themselves. The impact of FDIA can be catastrophic for the victim. They may endure unnecessary and often painful medical procedures, face long-term health issues, and endure significant psychological trauma. Tragically, in some cases, the induced illnesses can be fatal. It is crucial to recognise that FDIA is a serious form of abuse with potentially life-threatening outcomes. ABC The mum was first reported by the medical staff during one of the child’s hospital stays in October last year

Heavy fight breaks out in church as elders, pastor exchange blows over decision from international hqtrs Church service abruptly ended at the United Methodist Church in the Durumi area of the Federal Capital Territory as congregants engaged in a serious fight. The fight, which went on for hours, resulted in damage to some of the church’s property and required intervention from FCT command operatives to bring it under control. Our correspondent gathered that frantic efforts initially made by the police to stop the fight proved abortive until tear gas was released. It was further gathered that the police locked the church, dismissed the members, and took some of the elders to the station for interrogation. A church member, speaking anonymously to our correspondent, expressed displeasure over the conflict, saying that there had been a rift among the church elders concerning the decision to separate from their headquarters in the United States. The member added that the conflict arose from the church headquarters legalizing practices that are foreign to Nigeria’s culture. The member said, “Our headquarters is in America and they have legalised some practices that are not part of our culture. Some elders were of the view that we should pull out, and give the church another name. But another set of elders kicked against the move. This created a faction in the church. At a point, they wanted to go to court, but I cannot say why they did not end up going. “Today, while addressing the church during the service, our pastor announced that they would be heading to the court and expressed his wish that the church remain with the headquarters. That was what instigated the fight. I have never seen such a thing before in my life. The fight was so serious that when the police came they did not stop until they fired teargas. Some of the church elders were taken to the station for interrogation after the whole thing. “ When contacted, the FCT command police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident. She added that the Commissioner of Police, Bennett Igweh, had invited the church elders to his office on Monday. Adeh said, “The CP has invited all the church elders to come to the command by 10 am tomorrow.“
