Newmum0615:
Good morning peeps. Please does someone who missed her visa appointment get to fill another visa application. I am aware that new fees will be paid but does a new application need to be filled. I am asking for myself o. I was on admission on the day of my interview.
Thanks.
I don't think you need to pay anything extra. Just reschedule your appointment. Not sure of it will work but the first time I went for a visa interview was when I needed to travel for a training but couldn't get a date before the training date.

But because I had made payment already, I decide to choose any date and attend the interview all thesame. At the Embassy, the VO asked me what I wanted to travel for, I told her I was supposed to travel to the USA for a training but didn't need the visa anymore cos the training has passed. She paused, looked at me for about 15 seconds and said "you're different". Then she told me that the payment was valid for another one year and that I would have been able to use the appointment slot when next I needed to travel.

You could give it a shot.

I worked with Descasio Limited Recently - They are Google Partners. They set up our company email. My budget wasn't superb but they really drew up strategies to help me manage my budget. I got lots of leads and phone calls. Just Google the company name and you will find their website

You can use healthgrade to find a doctor. Where in the USA would you like to have your baby? That will help us guide you.

Hi everyone, I have been following this thread silently since part 1 and I've learnt a lot. Thanx to everyone for sharing valuable information.
Please I want to know if anyone knows any affordable hospital and doctor in Fayetteville, North Carolina?? I am due in May and still haven't found a doctor or hospital.
The one my auntie who lives there used said they can't accept me as a patient or give me any written appointment until they see me in person. I am worried that at the POE they may ask for any hospital correspondence and I don't want to be sent home abeg!
Any help for this first-time-mama?

Check Missouri Baptist medical centre cos their hospital charge is 2500 for VD and there's a Dr that charges 800$ there, additional cost is pediatricians fee which I dunno, but that same Dr collects test done from Nigeria if it's not hand written...accommodation is what I'm not sure of, Google apartments close to that zip code and see how far, but cost of living in Missouri is low

Hi All,

Anyone here looking to Travel between April 16-21? Let's plan together.
I am yet to make a decision on which hospital to go with between Dr Fagbohun's and Docotores Para Ti.
Doctores Para Ti is looking more like it from a budget stand point but I have heard alot of great things about Dr Fagbohun.

I will be travelling alone. Any words of Advice from the experienced people here?

jukeblam:
Wife and I are now in Houston. POE was Dallas and very quick. At first, the officers around did not send my pregnant wife...lol, until I requested she be let to sit somewhere until it was our turn- only then did a lady pass us through an express lane.

CBP: Why are you here?
Me: For vacation and to have a baby
CBP: Why do you wanna have your baby here?
Me: Because we will get better medical care here than what avails in Nigeria
CBP: Any doctors’ correspondence?
Me: Yes- and we show him the emails and bills breakdown
CBP: How much do you have on you?
Me: $10.5k and about $30 equivalent in naira
He takes our fingerprints, scans and stamps us in for 6 months and then on to secondary inspection.

The next CBP asked what the money was for, we replied vacation and childbirth and she gave me a form to fill. Then our boxes were searched; however, the cash wasn't counted.

In all, it took about 45 minutes, then on to Houston via AA.
However, that emirates flight is looooong and the longer Dubai-Dallas legs was filled with not a single free seat; not good for preggies at all- even I couldn't sleep through the two connecting flights.
