Children of bitterness told u in 2015 and 2019 not to vote Buhari because he had nothing to offer? How did it turn out later? Were they right or wrong, hatred aside? In 2023, the same children of hatred told you that voting Tinubu is like jumping from frying pan to fire, they dubbed it Shege pro max. Just less than 15 months later, hunger protest is breaking out today in Nigeria. Again, were these children of hate right or wrong. You see, we are not all equal in terms of smartness and native intelligence. Some people can see and predict what will happen in 10 years time today and they will be accurate. Fear the children of hatred, they are way smarter and can see far. Their bitterness stems from people like you who dont want to see beyond their nose. Because if only you guys saw what they saw in 2015, 2019 and 2023 elections, Nigeria wouldn't be where it is today. But you guys only saw perhaps ethnicity and religion and didn't see the real issues.
And have these soothesayers aka children of hate faired in chosing leaders in there region, or are choices of leaders in that region remarkable

That's not true. Aregbe was just one person in alimosho and he has just one vote. Where was aregbe when Aeroland, a pdp candidate swept the whole of alimosho but tinubu went and thrastebed his life and that of his family, after sending 2 groups to him to step down and he refused, before he now succumbed? My house isn't far from his place. A lot of people didn’t know what happen back then. They were only told the election was inconclusive

What wouid you say of other local government areas where he also lost? Was aregbe also the factor? Don't mention Muslim-Muslim ticket oo as some myopic guys do, cos we don't vote based on religion in lagos. MKO won Lagos massively, using same faith ticket. Tinubu is the factor here and it will continue to remain so. The votes he garnered last year in lagos were through intimidation, snatching of ballot boxes and threats. He knew on a normal day, he'd not get meaningful votes
You insinuating Aregbesola is nobody in Alimosho tells me your level of political insight ... no need for arguement

90% of the places Tinubu lost are places apc don't win from time being, eti osa, okota, isolo, and co. ... the only shock in the mix was Alimosho and that is the biggest local govt in lagos a big Minus

At the time Mko Abiola contested Muslim muslim, Nigerians werent these divided, the level of tribalism we have now is far higher to those days, besides there was no fear of terrorism or muslimization agenda

The votes Tinubu gathered in lagos were his true votes, 100% of vote came from axis they were expected, the twist was probably surpressing opposition vote .. i told you Tinubu his a master strategist, Nigerians are use to vote inflation not vote deflation cheesy he changed the game

Odewaleadesoye:
Here are some crucial points to ponder:
1. During the 2020 #EndSARS protests, many lives were tragically lost, and countless properties were damaged. It is possible that a similar outcome could occur if the current protests escalate. The chaotic scenes from that period serve as a stark reminder of the possible repercussions.

2. The majority of those who lost their lives or had their properties destroyed during the #EndSARS protests were ordinary citizens. The damages predominantly affected businesses and properties owned by the average Nigerian, not the government officials who were the target of the protests. We must consider whether it is worth risking further harm

God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.[/font]
@ odewaleadesoye i don't think your concerns are genuine, for you these could be a paid job. However your points are good but not waterproof

1. June 12 is the most prominient protest in Nig. before endsar, and after that Nigeria have held more protest why should endsar be a justification to alienate Peoples fundamental right .. are we saying our security agencies can't proffer pro active measures to mitigate "Hijack" ... are challenges not meant to solved/fixed, the essence of APP update is to fix buges why can APC reason for once

2. During the june 12 protest, were lives not lost did Tinubu not go on exile but did that deter him from leading another protest against jonathan, look where he is today it a lesson NO sacrifice no GAIN

3. Is it the people that are suffering that we hijack a protest or what benefit would opposition get disrupting a "Protest"
The only reason APc govt & Tinubu apologist are so confident there will be chaos is becos they are the one cooking it cheesy how come they are so confident there will be an "hijack"

4. Protest is our civil right just as it is the reponsibility of the Govt to protect lives and properties .. they must not project there incompetence on the Nigerian people
A responsible govt will not issue threat to citizens not to protest but rather provide an enabling ground so he can listen and understand there grievances 1st hand... Tinubu should be sending order to police to provide adequate security for Nigerians/protesters not trying to gag the people

Apparently Nigeria politicians are taking the people for a ride tew much, yoruba nii ma fii bread ko mii ni omi ôbè lor ijo kan nii eyan kor undecided

I also agree. But Tinubu's master strategy did not give him lagos votes last year. In alimosho where I live alone, they've said they'd protest over hardship. Tinubu didn't win alimosho LG, hope you remember, likewise in many LGAs. So, who is he going to use to instigate violence against....yorubas? We're 95% yoruba here in Alimosho. There would be protest but it will be peaceful. Violent protest is what we'll frown at. I'd not join them too.
If you are advent followers of politics, one of the main downfall of Tinubu losing Lagos was "Alimosho" cos there were unresolved grievances with Ogbeni Aregbe but BAT felt is dynasty in lagos should earn him alimosho without Aregbesola ... if you remember prior to Governorship election they hurriedly refamz Aregbeshola back cos that who secures Alimosho for APC from time memorial

In Lagos, the prominent locations for protest are mostly outside Alimosho .. i wish other states top the protest to show good riddance to "BAT" lagos

I agree with you. The protesters have said its going to be a nationwide thing so im wondering why some people keep saying they shouldn't prorest in lagos as if people here are exempted from harsahip. We won't condone any act of violence here , that's where I stand cos sponsored hoodlums may want to hijack it. This is where police must swing into action.
.If you are observant, Apc govt major antics of causing disunity between igbos and yorubas is using "Lagos"
The call for protest emanated from the North this time but govt is so much making it about Lagos, they know the mention of Lagos will trigger igbo vs yoruba .. tribalism waters down the unity needed for the protest

The reason Lagos Protest under PDP succeeded was becos it was opposition stronghold .. no thugs or hoodlums in pdp enough to hijack the famous ojota protest

Tinubu is a master strategist, maybe he has written script for the august protest already cheesy, i call him Maradonna and when you are dealing with a Man like Tinubu you must have a divergent plan and don't show your cards ... he is an asset to politicians

Tell them. Imagine all these illiterates saying people should go to their states and protest. Where will the hungry lagosians go? They always refer to lagos state government who's paying above the minimum wage. Lagos population is estimated to be over 20m people. The number of civil servants here isn't up to 20,000. So, what happens to those hungry lagosians who aren't civil servants?

Even the so called lagos state customised wage has been bastardised by inflation. When I read the news earlier today that our GDP is now in trillions, I burst into laughter. That figure, when divided by 2, will be the real GDP of last year before tinubu took office and implemented his heinous and wicked economic policy of floating of the currency in a poor nation as ours

There's no single day people don't beg for money on the streets of lagos. Are those ones comfortable civil servants too? Ebinpawon slogan emanated in lagos during one of Tinubu's visits, not in oyo or ogun or Anambra state. Enough of these stupid talks
Bro you have spoken well, But we must not tie our strength and ability to a location (lagos) there is nothing Lagos can give to the protest that massive turn out in other state won't give
Tinubu gave up Lagos in his master strategy and he won, why can't we as a people look beyond Lagos as well ... Lagos don cast cos Apc govt have so much leverage to sabotage protest with agberos & thugs in Lagos

If the people can spread there strength to other states to lead the protest it will be more of a success than dwelling on Lagos ..
