even leave minimum wage aside.
They are converting the sales of petrol in other countries at the rate of Nigeria naira. That is wicked.

If we want to go about it like that, why dont calculate it how much ghana are buying petrol at the rate of cedis.

Naira to dollar is 1600 and ghana cedis to odllar is less than 10 cedis, wjo is paying more
i think they deliberately do it just to Fool the people and make themselves feel good

Tbh, i dont understand why this people feign mischief, how can an elite use naira rate to posit PMS is more expensive outside

$ is # 1600 thats to Nigeria, what is the xchange rate in ghana, it is only valid to use Mali xchange rate to justapost high pms price

Besides Dangote comparism should be Nigeria with oil producing africa nations that have refinery to juxtapose "cheap"

how much is pms in togo and whats minimum wage, #70k fuel can't full my tank undecided and someone is talking "cheap"

They need to pump more dollars to the parallel market to defend the naira
The dual exchange rate still exists and the gulf is getting wider
it's time to open the reserves once again
Defending the naira is very much like suffering in vain and the sacrifices are for nothing

If only Tinubu had chosen common sense over IMF directives, merely declaring state of emergency on our productivity and upscaling export would have rescued the Naira and forestall a weakening

Are you talking about the leadership in North?

When some bandits have a say than reasonable number of the Northern leaders hence occupying territories

Gumi is one of the referred leader from North yet he was deported from Saudi Arabia due to link with bandits. Lots of Gumi are referred as leaders in North
If Gumi had a link with bandit and his kindred Buhari treated him with kids glove ... whats Tinubu excuse for not taking Gumi up

Does Tinubu really have balls or his balls is exclusively to taking things from the poor n vulnerable masses

That balls he take cummot subsidy let see it swing to capture Gumi

They're not ready yet....why there's always disagreement in which party to use....I don't think they are ready.

Do they needs Tinubu to help them to organize and be a viable opposition?
Election is 2yrs away and you think they aint ready cos they are yet to find a suitable & trojan free platform

1st for me, the idea of creating a new party for the coalition is best, most existing party are already infiltrated and compromised by Tinubu already, that rogue naa Devil jnr

2013 Tinubu formed a coalition, a new party was registered instead of existing ones ... its not how fast it is how well

All they just have to do is present a southerner that appeals to both N & S ...

It may not be crumbling, but there is no obvious enthusiasm for it.

Most Nigerians are not talking about it or appear to be interested.

To be fair, it isn't just about the coalition, it is a thing about politics and politicians in general.

Most Nigerians are just tired after several decades of unfulfilled promises.

As for the coalition, when Nigerians look at those behind it, they see the same set of politicians who have been in power in one role or the other for the last 25 years, and did nothing.

You can't blame people for their lack of enthusiasm.
What is their to talk about for Nigeria, they are yet to unveil the bride and you want people to start passing off compliments or what ??

whatever coalition that is going on is yet to have an identity, so what we form our opinion

the same set of politicians we known made the 1st coalition that took out Pres. jonathan .. .. you dont know saraki, Atiku, Tinubu or is it amaechi that is stranger to us.

I think the coalition are trying to be selective and filter so they dont make the mistake of allowing Tinubu plant a saboteur in their midst

it only best they take their time, their choice can either kill them on arrival or resonate hope to Nigerians

Otherwise, how do we have Peter Hoebi as a Messiah today, despite bringing Anambra to ruins as the governor of the state. 100% of those who cursed him those horrible years are the same people singing his praises Today. We are our own problem
I doubt if you were born n conscious of Buhari regime as head of state despite is terrible performance if Tinubu can package him as messiah and ask nigerians to vote

Why can't Obi come as messiah, obi tenure might be terrible infrastructure wise buh he didnt impoverish his people or choke businesses to foldup

10% growth rate is a target that many variables may make possible or impossible.

Its not an exam that has a fail or pass mark.
There is still time to creep up the growth rate as the reforms take root and medium to long term investment starts yielding

And i can tell you for free that getting 10% growth rate for 2023 and 2024, as good and desirable as it is, will not make any major material difference in your life
If 10% growth had been recorded in those years, you will still be here complaining
Maybe you should be educating Tinubu on variables ... but what i surely know is that when you promise is either you do it or fail

Tinubu as failed on All lines of promises he made to Nigerian or let me call it " scam"

Every successful person works with prospects/ target ... now you dont set a target without taken cognisance of controllable and uncontrollable factors ... Seems Tinubu just do things without thinking that was how he just remove subsidies without contingencies

Performance are subject to assessment of either pass or fail.

Yorubas say, weekend wey go sweet na from friday we go know..

Giving Tinubu time is not the issue, But for any sound economics ethuthiast you will know the models Tinubu is working with cant lead to any economic growth

According to former Governor Donald Duke, leadership is shift work. Do your own shift and ensure you actually do the work required.

PDP left 12 years ago. During their shift, they created a massive mess. It was the mess I highlighted.

The fraudulent subsidy legacy of PDP is gone, thanks to APC.

The fraudulent dollar subsidy propelled by PDP is also gone, thanks to APC.

The insecurity business masterminded under PDP where our children were kidnapped for sport is being tackled by APC.

Refineries were started by private individuals and others are building refineries during APC. APC provided enablaing environments for businesses to thrive. Despite naysayers postulating that the refineries were scams, we can see them coming on stream.

ASUU strikes which were national festivals have reduced during APC.

If you can successfully deny any of the above, please try. Otherwise, admit that there is progress. Perhaps you do not want to see it because your mind is probably attuned to negativity.
Direct question shocked see prevarications upon prevarication.

It is not Donald duke that will school us leadership is "continuity" we know.

Pdp made or left a Mess was that not the undoing, was that not why Apc called for change and Nigerians kicked pdp out .. reminding me Pdp made a mess at this time is invalid & ridiculous to the ear.

When you pick up stats of companies that fold up under Buhari & Tinubu collectively how does it resonate enabling environment
Private refineries are not Tinubu achievement it all started before him ... the public refinery that concerns Tinubu the most why as he not revamp it as Petroleum minister.
With the updates emanating from our local refineries what as Tinubu done differently.

ASUU strike is not an achievement were.our educational infrastructures and system are dilapitated

Subsidy is gone everything Tinubu promised from the savings where is it

.Tinubu promised 10% gdp growth yearly he hasnt meet 4% ... is that not glaring Failure

From Security to electricity, agriculture and capital project where is the improvement.

Face the truth

HONESTLY TINUBU IS THE MOST BRILLIANT & DANGEROUS POLITICIAN IN THE WORLD.
1. He knew how to generate more funds for the nation, more than any president in Nigeria.
(Fuel subsidy & recent tax increase) Would create more billions for Nigeria. Western countries only live on tax. Not to even mention rebate from fuel subsidy.
2. He pretended as sick and oldy ( bulaba, urinating, etc) for Northerners vote so they can think the case of Yaradua to goodluck will happen. And by that Shettima will hold power.
3. Creating more friends and having moles in mostly all party. (Don't leave ur party, just be my eyes to feed me ur plans). Like someone says to pocket Nigeria.

You see why most top politicians are decamping, they are making billions and enough to go round.
He is brilliant to do the needful for the betterment of Nigerian, if he knew how to play those parole. But wonder why he chooses those Pharaoh path to Israel .
Because the subsidy and tax rebate is enough to ease the hardship to some extent.
Maybe you are a school dropout If you have a basic knowledge of economic you wont say those things

1. Tax is one way to generate Fund but it is not the best mode to revamp a developing economy, high tax + subsidy removal thats a combo that negate " enabling environment"

Western countries live on high productivity check there net export, tax follows as supplement.
You can black wash "brilliance" when it pretty obvious the man is just a crook who has no honor or integrity

A developing economy heavily taxified and void of subsidy is a call for Impoverishing the people

I agree.

The dollar subsidy and fuel subsidy scams began under PDP.

There was never a time the economy thrived under PDP. Even during global economic meltdown where Nigeria was absorbed from the shocks, not by anything PDP did, PDP mismanaged the windfall. It was during PDP that $16billion was invested in power sector reforms where Atiku himself admitted that some contractors were paid 100% upfront and they disappeared without doing any work. It was during PDP that Nigeria was committed to the P&ID fraud. It was under PDP that NITEL was destroyed completely. PDP also completely ended Nigerian Airways.

It was under PDP refineries collapsed completely.

It was under PDP insecurity became a thriving business. The military handed a safe Nigeria devoid of insecurity. Insecurity is a legacy of PDP.

Nigeria boomed during PDP in terms of oil earnings. But PDP mismanaged the windfall and plunged the country into economic quagmire. The so-called good economy was artificial as they used our oil earnings to subsidize the rich. It was during PDP that Nigeria became dollarized. At that time, PDP said they were defending the naira. Defending the naira by subsidizing the dollars?

That is economic voodoo only PDP could sanction.

PDP needs to apologize and not lie to us that they are a better alternative.

By the way, Emefiele was a PDP legacy.
Grandpa we have left pdp almost 12yrs now, what does Apc have to show that reflect better index thats the koko

World bank give Tinubu $800m to distribute to people to cushion the effect of pain and hunger caused by bad policies but you instead seized 60% of it distribute it to party starlwarts and open mouth that you are making progress.

If we sum up all the money Tinubu have wasted on cushion effect of sudsidy removal in the last 2yrs, would it not subsidize pms a little even if not wide margin

what can rice sharing solve, weytin conditional transfer wey no reach 30k wan solve for family man in this economic .. do our leaders even think at All
It’s obvious all the harsh policies of the government are meant to empower party stalwarts at the detriment of the people he is meant to led.
They cautioned Tinubu about the inefficiency of the controversial criminally corrupted social register created by Buhari and yet he still went ahead to channel $800m world banks funds for the vulnerable into it. That shows he wanted his party and government to embezzle 63 percent of the funds.
That is intentional corruption.

I disagree 💯.

You don't just submit all because you want to achieve your political goals. If you can't stay loyal, don't go near politics.

You can't get there all by yourself. Someone or some people must be instrumental to your success and you dare not ditch them when you arrive. If you do, that's betrayal and you get the results because they will wait for you.

It happens, not only in politics but also in most life's endeavours.

It's that simple!
As much as i understand God fatherism is pertinent to Politics, you make it sound as though politics is all about nwa boy

As it stands in the country today, i can't think of any governor under godfather other than Gov. ododo of kogi and Fubara

You can argue politics is about loyalty and i can conveniently show you across the world " betrayal is imminent" in politics to move ahead.
Staying loyal as a head to followers/ supporters is more feasible than anyone staying Nwa boy to one godfather for life of

One thing most pertinent to Life or politics is " betrayal" even if you no betray doesnt mean your people cant betray you

Life is not 1,2,3
