Who, guys, should shut up? You are just being emotional for nothing. Again, there's nowhere in our constitution, even the US constitution, after which the Nigerian constitution was modeled after that says anyone cannot influence members of the house.
I'm not a Wike fan, and I will never but he is allowed to influence those members legally as long as he's not using force to influence them.
It is up to those members to say no to him or accept his influence. Trump is controlling the Republican members of the US House of Representatives even before he won the last election. He told them what to vote on and how to vote on some issues.
You might not like it, but it's legal.
Fubara burning down thunder demolishing the House is totally against the law, and it's criminal. There's no other way to look at it.
Fubara played into their hands, and he got the wrong advice. He was planted by WIke, hence whatever problem they have is their problem. I don't care, but I will not support any illegality.
if you know nowhere in constitution forbid influence, then dont also use "Allow" cos nowhere in the consistution explicitly promote it

You guyz keep hanging on to demolition of state assembly a case that as being cured by supreme court already, you cant judge a case after court verdict naw, is that legally allowed or judge in your own case

it is very Funny when they cite the demolition as reason for wanting to impeach Fubara, before demolition nko ?? no be all nigerians get dementia

You wont support illegality, what does the law say about defection, did those members defect or not ?? be fooling yourself

Sign or no sign Fubara is gone. The house will never pass the budget for him. He is gone bro.
Thats just your opinion, Most of you never thot Fubara will last 2yrs to begin with, just like russia vs ukraine war we all thot ukraine would be a walk over

For Tinubu to use FG might to suspend Fubara, shame on Wike, it means without Tinubu wike is nothing in this tussle

They have nothing valid to impeach Fubara nd should the reps go ahead Court will quash the impeachment, their is a time limit the Reps can stall to, the budget must be pass or it becomes contempt of court

Remember the Reps defection case is in court ... Fubara took off on the wrong foot but he is learning fast

At least the Nigerian constitution allows the President to declare a state of Emergency under certain conditions. However, there is no place in the constitution where a Governor like Fubara is permitted to demolish the State house of Assembly and at the same time try to remove the elected House members.
For demolishing the House alone, the guy deserves to be impeached and imprisoned.
You guyz just shutup, before the demolition of thr house of assembly nko .... from the onset these people have held Fubara by the throat, it is wrong But demolition of that state assembly bought Fubara time

its funny when Wike apologist hide behind the demolition, Pre were they not on the verge to impeach him.

IF Supreme court did not ajudicate Fubara to be jail who the fvck are you, wike time in Rivers as ended he deserves to lock out

Rivers will not become wike & sons ltd, people deserve better

seunmsg:
Nigeria’s long term economic outlook is very bright. International organizations are all very optimistic about Nigeria’s future because of all the economic reforms President Tinubu is working on.

You don’t have to like Tinubu to see some of these things. For the past 30 years or so, all presidents have had to worry about fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy, forex subsidy, state governments hijack of local government funds etc. In less than two years, he tackled all these issues instead of sidestepping them like all others have done. Going forward, no president after him will have to worry about any of these issues.

Things may be difficult but some of these things Judy have to be done in the overall long term interest of the country.
How can anyone in the right frame of mind posit our economic outlook is bright with

1. downsized productivity amidst
companies/manufacturers folding up

2. eroded purchasing power

3. promulgated ridiculous high interest rate

4. Investors are not coming

5. No incoming infrastructural project to
augment GDP

In the face of all these realities, where is the economic boom coming from, RITUAL!! undecided

how do you people live with yourselves, fooling yourselves

nairalanda1:
Borrowing in Nigeria will never stop. Even if Obi won last year...and yes, he was better than tinubu and atiku.

80% of NIgeria's revenue comes from oil. To have sufficent money to run the budget without borrow borrow...we would hav e to have oil being sold at 140 dollars or more per barrel.

The only time that happened was in 2008. That was when Yaradua was ordering government agencies to return excess money in their account at the end of that year.

The only way we can stop borrowing is to increase our non oil revenue and that can be done by being an industrial nation that exports industrial goods...because we can set our prices, and raise our income how we like.

But that means things like allowing discos set price for power, improving tax collectionl, and actually fighting corruption which most of you no go gree for.
Everything you said, rightfully still points the ball is in govt court, its an unfortunate one for Nigeria Yaradua died so soon,

Most countries in the world borrow, collecting loan is not bad but how you tend to use it or what you use it for is what makes it BAD, most of the loans given to Nigeria are either misappropriated or used to finances re current expenditure ... thats gross stupidity.

i strong believe it is more viable to subsidize fuel, lessen the cost of production & cost of living fosters an enabling environment that will generate more smes and optimal productivity

with low cost of living Nigerians would have more savings to invest,

The shortest way back to industrialization is "subsidy" ... cost of operation is back breaking

I don't like Apkabio for his reckless talk. However Natasha isn't smart enough to get evidence to back up her allegations. Saraki didn't step down too when he was accused of sponsoring a bloody bank robbery at offa because there was no convincingly proofs. Natasha game plan failed her this time around. That trick don cast. She should spend her suspension reflecting on her character.
He did step down when he was about to be docked for the imported car case

Ubani doesn't know what he is saying. With or without evidence, Akpabio should have stepped down as SP. SP should live above board.
That decision is highly dependent on discretion nd violition, not mandatory

Like Ubani said, if Natasha had presented an evidence of Akpabio harassing her the decision to step down would have been outside Akpabio's violition, it becomes the senate or people's call

if need be Akpabio be docked he will step down, if he step down nd Natasha no present any evidence of what essence
