Below are photos from the burial of 38-year-old IPOB member Sunday Ogbonna Ogudu who was shot dead by the Nigerian Arm forces on 30th May 2016 at Eke Nkpor In Anambra state.He was buried today 10th March 2017 at his home town in Umueze, Akaeze in IVO L.G.A Ebonyi State.

Ekiti 2018, Fayose call on supporters to be on 'Stand-by'

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has called on his supporters across the State to be on Stand-by for his directive on what platform to use in retaining power in the next political dispensation.

Mr. Fayose stated this while addressing members of the Peoples Democratic Party who had gathered for the monthly Ado LG PDP meeting hosted by Ward 11 at Isato Area of Ado-Ekiti on Thursday.

The directive which is coming at a time the crisis rocking the PDP isn't showing any sign of abetting is an indication that the governor is not ready to be caught unawares as the Makarfi faction of his party awaits judgment on the PDP leadership tussle at the Supreme Court.

Addressing the elated crowd during the unscheduled visit at Isato, governor Fayose said: "as far as Ekiti 2018 election is concerned, be on stand-by, the new slogan now is 'e stand-by', when you see the market women and they say 2018...you say 'e stand-by', when you see the teachers and they say 2018...you say 'e stand-by', when you see a friend and he says 2018, tell him "e stand-by".

"When it is time, I will give you direction, for now, the slogan is 'e stand-by', the governor stressed.

With the governor on the visit were the commissioner for environment, Honourable Bisi Kolawole and the deputy speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Segun Adewumi.

Members of pro Deltans extracted from all ethnic nationalities which includes the Itsekiri, Ijaw, Isoko, ika, urhobo and all others staged a protest at Delta State Government House against ex-governor Uduaghan.


According to them, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan must go to jail for looting the funds of the state during his tenure.The protesters said he must go to jail or spend his loot in hell. They also demanded for stelwardship and accountability of Emmanuel Uduaghan government under which he received 13% crude oil derivation funds.They said Uduaghan paid N10million naira to his thugs to ensure the peaceful protest against his failed government does not hold or ends in bloodbath.

Tare Gordon a student of Niger Delta University and business woman was yesterday involved in a fatal accident along the Amassoma-Yenagoa road as she embarked on a trip.

She took to facebook to thank God for sparing her life. In her words she said:

"And Yes the devil has been defeated in my life.m alive by HIS Grace. Frends pls join me n Thank God for saving my life, my life is a testimony.people died but God saved me from this terrible accident, at amasoma road.
My life is not by accident, so I cannot go by accident.God you r Great, a million thanks is not enough to say how grateful I am to God.For saving me.I Love u Lord"

Armed robber belonging to a cult group in Owerri was nearly lynched to death yesterday by angry mob after he invaded BET NAIJA house located at Alvan Guest House, Amakohia, Owerri.

According reports, he invaded the BET NAIJA house which with 5 other cultists.They made away with 2 laptops and hit a young man they met at the centre with a gun as he wanted to question them.They broke his head with an iron and ran away.One of the cultists was caught and nearly burnt to death.It took the intervention of civil defense officials and 2 hilux vans filled with armed police men to rescue him.

'Chai accident again. Our igwe 1st son has an accident with students of oko poly. With his hilux coming back from oko yesterday night. And five students from oko died nd driver tear into pieces. See the goat that curse the accident. They cut off the goat head nd blood is not coming out. Our igwe 1st son Emeka anugwu is in hospital with others that break led nd the dead body too. His head tear see his blood on his hilux. Only one person in the bus is normal without any wood. So pray for them to survive'.

Earlier today I reported the story of a fatal accident that occurred along Warri-Sapele road near Opuraja junction around MFM prayer ground.6 people including 2 NYSC members were killed in the accident that claimed the lives of all the passengers.
