The last might not have been heard of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife’s divorce saga, as some people have decided to be at his wife’s side. It will be recalled that Pastor Chris has removed his wife’s name from the church’s official website and other important materials relating to the church, and now the church’s UK branch leaders have also decided to remove Pastor Chris’ name as one of the Church’s trustees. Premium Times got to see the documents and below is how they report it… It is well.

The face-off between the Founder of Believers Love World (aka Christ Embassy) Chris Oyakhilome, and his wife, Anita, has taken a new dimension with Mr. Oyakhilome now removed as a trustee of a United Kingdom’s branch of the church.

With Mr. Oyakhilome’s removal, his wife, Anita, now presides over a seven-man Board of Trustees of the N8.2 billion rich branch, church documents reviewed by Premium Times have shown.

A man who killed his pal after finding out he 'poked' his girlfriend on Facebook, has been jailed for four years. Scott Humphrey repeatedly punched Richard Rovetto during a row in a cab on the way back from a stag do.

Nottingham Crown Court heard that Humphrey, 27, angrily asked Mr Rovet "If you're such a good friend why did you poke my missus?"

Sending someone a virtual 'poke' on Facebook is often seen as a way of flirting with them.

Prosecutor Gareth Gimson told the hearing the argument came to a head as the taxi stopped in Top Valley, Nottingham.

Obafemi Kolawole, a political associate to Chief Ganiyu Oladiran, a Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in Ilesa, was on 23 September 2014 convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment with whipping for rape.

The said Obafemi was alleged to have on 15th September 2007 raped an Action Congress of Nigeria (now All Progressives Congress) member (Tosin Ajakaye, who was pregnant as at the time of the incident) after the 2007 gubernatorial election in Osun state.


Kolawole was charged before the State High Court sitting at Ilesa, on a two-count charge of rape and indecent assault

Two days after he was sent home from a Dallas hospital, the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S, now identified as Liberian national Thomas Eric Duncan, was seen vomiting on the ground outside an apartment complex as he was bundled into an ambulance.

"His whole family was screaming. He got outside and he was throwing up all over the place," an eyewitness Mesud Osmanovic, 21, told NBC News on Wednesday, describing the chaotic scene before Thomas Eric Duncan was admitted to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday.

SaharaReporters has learned of a simmering tension in Kebbi State between Governor Saidu Nasamu Dakingari and police officers upset about the governor’s assault of his aide de camp, Mohammed Umar, on Saturday, September 9.

Several police sources in the state told a correspondent of SaharaReporters that the assault took place at the Ahmadu Bello International Airport in the state capital, Birnin-Kebbi, at a ceremony marking the airlift of pilgrims. They stated that the unruly governor slapped his ADC in the presence of pilgrims and other officials at the ceremony.
