I totally understand. But it's better as you went into the banking hall to make the deposit.

Stanbic mobile transfers usually don't show descriptions. I hope everyone else avoid it just to be safe.

Good luck Chief.

Many people have shared their experiences here. Just read up from page 1 till date and you'd thank me later.

Avoid the trap of last minute pressure. Calm down and read up.

Good luck to all applicants.

They do. That's why you shouldn't pay an agent for a visa application. Most of them forge statement of account and the result is always a REFUSAL
cucumbar:
These embassies actually verify statement of account o. shocked shocked shocked

My bank just called me that I should forward the statement of account I used in applying for Brazilian visa so that they can verify and respond to the embassy.

Fingers crossed!!

Hi MrTade,
Techspot could be right. Now you should reapply but ensure your cover letter is compelling enough to make them see reasons why you have to join your wife Brazil.

My personal opinion is; wait till your wife puts to bed and then apply for a reunion visa (since your child is a Brazilian). But make sure to submit all documents showing that you and your wife are legally married, ties to Nigeria and proof of funds etc.

Huge account balance doesn't guarantee you a visa especially tourist visa if the statement of account and your profile doesn't correlate.
As a matter of fact, it might even play a role in you not getting the visa.

What was your profile ( I.e employed, self employed, freelancer etc)?

Let's assume you claimed to be a salary earner, do the salary that come into your account seem like what would have made you have 7m (after expenses)?

As a tourist, it's to your advantage if your closing balance can cover your expenses but what matters is your guaranteed income. Secondly, your expenses at the same time proves your residency and ties to your home country.

I don't writing about this issue because e too long.
MrTade:

I had well over 7million naira in my account.

You should have read through the thread ma'am. This same issue was discussed in couple of posts back by those who were invited for interviews too.
zmoney:
Good Morning all, Please is there anyone who has applied for a visa recently and was asked to come for an interview?

I applied with my husband, but I was the only one asked to come for an interview. What kind of questions can I expect?

Thank You.

This country eh, same bank that sent DSS to harrass the man at his home, picked him up even though they were owing him. I am sure their plan was to assassinate him so as to change the narrative... Then sit on the money.

You can do your hotel reservations via booking.com

The last time I used naijagoingabroad.com for flight booking. But there are other platforms you can use too

Politics / Re: Video Of Soldiers Shooting At Civilians In Awgu, Enugu Is Propaganda - Army by Chiefholloway: 4:14pm On Nov 02, 2021
In one paragraph the army are denying that it never happened. That was just a propaganda.

In another paragraph, they said that they are still conducting an investigation on the matter and that any one found guilty will be punished.

Wow. What a country

Good for you. You don't need some attention in stuffs like this. If you can go with the PC as you said earlier, better
Prosperity4All:

It's not a red flag.
There are many reasons you might want to travel with a PC_System unit on a less than 2 weeks trip. If that system has a licensed software running into thousands of dollars, I will travel with it if I have presentations to make over there or setting it up is even part of the reason for my trip. You could also be dropping it of with a resident over there on request.
I have never been asked such questions, like what I want to do with items in my bag. LOL. Except its a banned item. If they suspect you are carrying drugs with any item in your bag then they can take it apart to search, besides that you are absolutely fine to carry your grand pa TV if it fits in your luggage.

Why would anyone ever consider..., let alone travel on tourist visa with a desktop computer. That alone is a red flag. I assume you indicated that you won't stay up to a month there.
timestwo:

Hi Techspot, hope you get this.

During a tourist visit, can I travel with my desktop computer or will it be a problem at the airport? I work freelance/remote for a living and leaving it behind is going to impact my earnings.

Looking forward to a reply.
