Thanks a lot Vcole for your responses.

I really do appreciate!!!

vcole:
For primary source verification of your medical degree/diploma you do not need a transcript.
You set up and pay for your physiciansapply account, create a SVR and pay for the document fee. Then you send via post or courier a copy of your medical degree/diploma, passport biodata page, evidence of change of name if applicable, and a completed certified identity confirmation form. I notarised all copies I sent to be safe.
Then the MCC reviews the documents and provided there are no errors, uploads them onto your account and sends the medical degree copy to ECFMG for verification. (If there are errors, they send you a message via your account to provide what they need to correct the deficiencies. For example, a copy was cut off on one corner, you would have to send them another copy with all the margins visible).
ECFMG then sends a verification request to your medical school. The request is sent by post and contains a copy of your medical degree and a form that your dean fills and signs to confirm that you indeed attended and graduated from said school. It also contains a pre-addressed envelope.
I do not think that if the envelope was not used to send the verification back that it would be a problem. However, you have no way of knowing until ECFMG sends feedback on the verification to MCC which usually takes 20 working days.
So, if your school sent back by courier, get the tracking number and track it online, check for the date and proof of delivery at ECFMG and count 20 working days from that date.
Then check your physiciansapply account.
Under documents, you click on medical degree. Then view history. That history shows you the stages and dates on which your document has passed through the different processes. It will also show you if the verification is passed or failed.

Goodmorning.

Please I want to understand this POF business.

Can the money you're using as POF be the naira in your account? Must it be in US dollars or Canadian dollars? Or is just having he naira equivalent of the money in your account enough?

Does one really need to open a DOM account and start funding it in dollars? How will you prove the source of the dollar you're using to fund the account?

Thank you.
dupyshoo:
As you said the money is a gift, then it should be no problem. I made this statement because the money will need to be in your account till you land in Canada. This can be for more than 8 months.

I will however first address the issue of the money you fixed in August 2016. You said you want to submit your application to IRCC. Have you already got ITA? If yes, when did you get ITA? I am asking this question because if you have already got ITA and you plan to submit your application within the next 1-2 months, you will have to show the proofs of the source of the 3M as well.

With regard to the 2.7M gifts, I will advise you to transfer the money in just a lump sum (i.e. all the money at once), then back it up with a gift deed from the person that transferred the money to your account. On the other hand, if you are married, you can tell all the people that are giving you the money to transfer it to your spouse and then your spouse will transfer all the money to your account. In this case, you will require a letter of explanation from your spouse stating that he/she transferred the money to your account to support your family's plan to obtain Canada's PR and he/she does not have plans to collect the money back. Your bank statement showing the transaction from your spouse account to yours should also be included.

Please note that even with the above, you will still be required to submit a letter from your bank showing the opening dates, type, closing balances and the average balances of all your accounts for the past 6 months.

Thank you Chief
I have done all these.
Yet they rejected the transcript my school sent to them.
I don't know what they want ooooo
As my final certificate is not yet ready!!
What must I do now?
All the cover sheets went along
My certified identify confirmation signed by provost
I also paid all my due.
Including account opening fee and SVR documentation fee.
Kindly comment pls..
Contrary to a comment I just read regarding your case, your transcript can ONLY be sent out to an institution by your school directly because it's a highly confidential document. You sending it by yourself (except it's enclosed in a sealed and school-stamped envelope) reduces its authenticity.

I think what they want from you is to primary source verify your MBBS certificate and not transcript because transcript is already delivered by the primary source and is for one-time use, but your MBBS certificate that you'll be presenting at different stages in your migration process and employment processes need to be primary source verified.

However, you can call them or mail them through your physiciansapply account to find out what the problem is.

Also I only notarized my international passport data page and not document photocopies and they accepted it. Don't know if that has changed. They'll still source verify those ones, so why the need for notarization?

Goodluck!!!

[quote author=platypelloid post=49242286]Hello house
I sent my medical degree transcript to MCC
It was rejected, requesting for medical degree diploma which is not yet ready from my school.
From their website, final medical transcript is accepted which my school sent to them via dhl and I was notified its receipt.of which they rejected.

Pls house what can I do?

Urgent advice needed please

I made the same mistake of sending a transcript instead, but fortunately for me, they never even got it cheesy

I called and asked them to exchange the payment made for my transcript for my MBBS certificate, which I mailed to them along with a separate release form.

call them and request that your MBBS certificate takes the place of the transcript (assuming you have MBBS certificate anyway).

sorry i have no knowledge of d details of d evaluation process.....infact, mcc tells candidates not to contact ecfmg..... the deal is btw candidates and mcc so u dont ordinarily get to know d details except if your school doesnt respond after several trials.
However, I can tell you i paid just once and the evaluation was done....then i paid again to request for d ECA report which was sent to me.
Thanks a lot.

Please was it just your MBBS certificate you submitted to them?

Did they require you to submit your transcript at any point?

Did your institution put the verification in the official envelope with which it came before sending it back to ECFMG?

My institution claims to have sent the form back to EICS (about a week ago via courier), but MCC informed me that ECFMG has not gotten a response from my institution.

The dean's secretary however said he did not use the EICS official envelope. He put the form and credential in their envelope and sent back to ECFMG. Do you think this is the reason why they haven't gotten it?

Thanks for your help.

Sorry I haven't been following the thread for a while now. Please has any doctor in the house completed Educational credential assessment through MCC and ECFMG?

Is it true that they first send your credential along with a verification form to your institution, which they ought to fill and send back to EICS and then a second review is sent again by EICS requesting for details of your academics from your institution, making the process in two phases?

Does it mean one has to pay twice for the verification process? Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks.

Etfash:
I will suggest that you scan your degree certificate to your school and request that it is sent alongside your transcript. As for your school, try and locate a contact person so as to expedite the process for you.
Thank you!

Biobobs:
For your MCC evaluation of credentials, you would need to have sent a copy of your medical certificate certified by a notary public. Mcc would then verify the certificate from your school.
But no worries,I think you should just wait for the reply from MCC after reviewal of the docs u submitted. They would tell u if u still need to resubmit d certificate via post or email .
Thanks a lot

Good evening everyone,

Thanks for all your contributions and advice. God bless you all.

Please I'm a medical doctor, I started the express entry process not long ago. I just submitted my credentials for educational assessment, however, going through this thread, I realized that instead of sending my degree certificate, I requested that my school send my transcript to MCC ( i saw that as one of the documents i could send in "physicians apply" website). Meanwhile, i have sent other necessary documents by courier to MCC, but they are yet to receive my transcript from the school.

Please do I still need to send my degree certificate or will my medical school transcript suffice at this stage?
