God bless you my brother.....useful info u've given me here doctor isa: @chigodo 1 if you are new to poultry business its not advisable to start with 1000 |
Bro you are doing a great job on here,I have some few things I want you to clarify me on pls. 1. Is it adviseable by you to go for a day old bird or about to start laying ones, what are the advantages and disadvantages, assuming I want to buy 1000 birds what are the prices for both?. 2. What will it cost me to construct the cage for birds and how many birds can be comfortably contained in each cage?. 3. Does govt agencies disturb you or have any way of taxing you on regular basis?. 4. Does neighbours complain or report to any authority as regards any form of inconveniecies?. 5. How did you raise your buyers,do they come to the poultry or you supply to them, considering the fact that I'm planning to do the business in Lagos. 6. How long is it advisable to keep the birds to be laying eggs before they are sold?. 7. How about the birds attacking themselves with their mouth? johnj7818: i ve over 4500layers currently doing well, and just another 1500 chicks. It is indeed unimaginable to see that while the students of Nigerian universities are sitting helplessly idle at home as a result of the lingering ASUU strike which is entering the third month now, some old men who will soon clock 50 are still parading themselves as national youth council of Nigeria representatives. It got to my notice that a dinner party was organized by the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Job Creation, Ms. Josephine Wushima in Abuja yesterday being Saturday 31st August 2013. These set of old men went on with their party last night probably because they don't even know that the universities are on strike since non of them is still in school.........Again I want to ask,are these old men really representing the Nigerian youths? |

A 30-year-old graduate of Microbiology from the Delta State University (DELSU) Abraka, killed herself when she discovered that her finacee, who she met on Facebook, had married her best friend. Police reports claim Nkechi (surname withheld), who lives in Asaba with her parents came home complaining of having a minor headache. Uyabeme said while in her room, she may have taken some drugs and dropped a note by her bed side. Uyabeme said the note read: “I have gone to rest as I cannot stand the situation after the house I built has collapsed.” Nkechi was said to have refused to marry the man she met on Facebook because when she finally met him he was in a wheelchair… turns out he was testing her to see if she was shallow. Leadership newspaper reports that Nkechi got involved in Facebook-ing at the centre in Asaba where she was being tutored in computer appreciation. This was how she met the young man, who disguised himself as a ‘cripple’, but was actually a lawyer who trained in the United Kingdom. After a series of chats, he asked for her hand in marriage. After their long relationship on-line, which lasted about seven months, the young man, who was identified as Henry (surname withheld), returned to Nigeria on a wheelchair. Nkechi, accompanied by her friend, went to the airport to welcome him, but was shocked to see him on a wheelchair and when he begged her to marry him, she refused. According to reports, feeling disappointed, Nkechi continued to refuse his proposal, despite his pleas and a visit to her house. She did not listen to that of her friend, either. Her friend, identified as Onyinye, a fashion boutique owner, was shocked at her friend’s decision after pleading with her to reconsider her decision, but Nkechi refused. This, reports said, endeared Onyinye to Henry. Issues took a different turn when Henry went ahead to finalise wedding plans with Onyinye. They had the traditional marriage and white wedding last weekend in Asaba, but at the reception, Henry got off his wheelchair to the amazement of all and informed everyone that he was never ‘disabled,’ but had to disguise himself because he was hoping to get married to a Nigerian lady who would love him, even if he was disabled. When the news got to Nkechi, she was reported to have committed suicide. |
