I just stumbled on this post, I stopped having interest on nairaland programming section when we stopped assisting one another but rather ask for money to do the job.

Anyways, I have been coding Java Spring for more than 5 years, we use spring frame work for our projects. I was really laughing when I read someone saying spring is dead, Spring is more alive than you man.

With the introduction of Reactive Programming in Spring 5, I love spring better, reactive Streams API is officially part of Java 9. You just need to include the dependency for the Reactive Streams if u want to use it in Java 8.

I was working with Hibernate Envers and needed help, I posted it on nairaland (https://www.nairaland.com/1970899/hibernate-envers-ejb-needed) till now no reply, going to 4 years now. LOL

I will bookmark this thread.

I use Spring JPA and also JDBC, most of our legacies code uses Hibernate. Hibernate is a bit slower compared to JDBC.

Sir I'm an undergraduate studying computer engineering, I have a new found love for Java which is my first programming language, after I get grounded in Java I planned to switch to JavaScript for web development but comments here have been interesting, is it better to pursue web development using Java frameworks? Computer boy and other gurus in the house... I'm downloading windows 10 creators update from the site you provided on the first page (getintopc.Com), the link you gave takes me to windows 10 all in one update. Can I install the iso directly nd delete the old windows thereby avoiding clean install or must it be for clean install ? If clean install is compulsory Plz help me with or point me to where I can get detailed instructions on how to go about it. I'm currently on windows 10 pro.

If you have a good PC configuration like 8GB ram or more, you may consider installing Kali Linux on a vmware. However, if not, just partition your hard drive and install windows and Kali Linux separately on those partitions.

As an illustration, i am dual booting both ubuntu and windows 10 on my system but on separate drives. I installed ubuntu on a turbo drive and windows on another drive. On my windows OS i have a vmware 12 running. And on this vmware i have windows server 2008R2 & 2012, windows 7, windows 8.1, kali Linux and OSX. But for your info I'm using HP Zbook G2 mobile workstation with core i7, 800gb ssd, 256gb ssd, 1tb hdd, 32gb ram.

Crazy specs...I envy u, my system specs; core i5 8gb ram, 500gb Hdd, do u suppose I can run ubuntu and kali on vm smoothly? If so point me in the right direction to download a suitable vm....side note; how much did you get. Your laptop for?

Hp elitebook 8470p, 8gbram, 128gb solid state drive (different from hard drive), core i5(3rd gen) processor, processor speed 2.60ghz, graphics card intel hd 4000, it has windows 7 sticker but d installed os is windows 10 pro (activated), I got it from a reputable lady who is based in uk for 70k,she sells fairly new, very neat laptops, she says she buys direct from company nd ships to naija so quality is guaranteed...note its fairly new. Note dt hp laptops come in different configurations, there's a core i7 nd finger print scanner 8470p though more costly

Computer boy could you help me out of a little fix; I just got a new laptop running windows 10 pro (activated), after a few nights of using airtel 500mb night plan it starts prompting me to install the anniversary update, note: install not download, I knw the few subs I did is not enough to download the update of abt 3gb, my question should I install? Is the update file size different depending on your windows 10 version? And if I choose install will the installation process wipe my files? Thanks

What killed watching the movie for me was that I read the book a while ago even before the series started coming out. After watching the first one I was kind of disappointed about the movie because most of the scenes didn't play out as the book did, I've not finished the book either because as at the time I read it the author wasn't done writing the book I'm not sure he has finished writing it till date any ways but I think anybody that reads novels well should read the books I have the soft copies anyone interested in them can contact me on whatsapp with 08030809934 I can send all the first four or five books but only if you'll read it because they really are interesting.
