sassy92: I didn't attack you and I'm sorry if it sounded that way. And if you have truly read through this thread you'd know that you cannot get AD using October as start date again. You have to either get enrollment extension up till December from your school or plead with them to allow you do on line enrollment Then cancel and use December as start date. Please I have some few questions, your kind response will be highly appreciated: 1.What date in December is ideal to use as my start date? 2.And with my 2.2 , should I apply using Cat A or Cat B? 3.Then for the Mawista Insurance registration, they are asking for the payment mode section, how do I fill that section? Thanks for your response |

amahbrain: Hello Oma,
I applied on the 5th of this month and on the 9th I got an interview date for the first week of October.
I ticked the scholarship option because I had applied for the Goethe Goes Global Scholarship. Yet to hear from Goethe University concerning the scholarship application but I believe I HAVE it.
I hope this inspires you. Also, hope you applied under Category A, if you are going for a Masters program?
Please do I cancel my category B booking and book for CategoryA? |

Odedenshi1: From the info I got reading comments on the Student visa thread, you were supposed to book under Category A as a Masters hopeful. Advice given to those in your shoes is to ask your school for extension then probably cancel, rebook with start date specified as late December and pray. I would advice you follow that thread for directions, all the best. @Odedenshi. What if in a situation that my school refuses to extend or defer my admission. Can I cancel the CategoryB that I have made and then book for CategoryA and also get my appointment before my resumption date (October)? |

I booked for my category B visa appointment on the 24th of June, while my classes starts on the 9th October. I also registered and have started the German language classes. But up til this time, I haven't gotten any visa appointment date from the German embassy. Please what should I do. I am having sleepless nights because of this. |

I got admitted into a masters degree program in Germany on 19th of June, after which I made a category B-Visa booking on 24th June, as my classes starts by 9th of October. But uptil now, I haven't gotten a date and I'm seriously worried. Please any advise. |

Odedenshi1: Greetings y’all, Thanks for the nice update. Been following the Student visa thread for over a year now, planning to apply for Summer admission. I have a few questions for those already in Germany the reason I am here. My questions are; (1) I was considering applying to Study in Kleve, how viable is the City in terms of Student jobs?
(2) My undergraduate discipline is Biochemistry, but I have over 7years experience in Sales. I have decided to switch to IT, presently running CCNA and by the grace of God I plan to complete CCNP before December. Is Networking in demand in Germany?
(3) Based on my Undergraduate course of study, I am aware it would be difficult to get a Masters program in IT, is settling for a Bsc in IT advisable considering my age, I am already in my late 30’s.
Your advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
