So, I tried doing my own capture life five 13 and see what I could get out of my own C8. Forgive my poor photography skills o.

I think she's comparing Camera quality... When people want to buy phones, apart from Techys, the first thing they think about is the Camera quality of the phone. The camera of the Camon really competes with that of the S5, and beats it in fact.

Been using this tab for a over a year now, FE170CG precisely and I've never had any issue with it. Phone is very fast, battery efficient, decent camera. (2MP. Much clearer than Itel Grand's 8MP) You probably didn't get the original. I once had a broken screen and was glad to shed 12500 for replacement at Mitsumi Nigeria Allen. Mind you, M a heavy phone user.

Fan's camera might not be able to compete with the overhyped tecno, but it's overall perfomance is way beyond tecno or any other chink

Your last statement made me laugh though. It can't compete with the camera, take it. The Tecno isn't overhyped though. I just think everyone is surprised (like I am) that a Tecno phone is doing just as much as a Sony and Samsung will do at an affordable price. I don't think that's an overhyped sha. Overall performance, the tab may beat it but the Camon doesn't perform badly.

There is something with mobile phones and review. If you want to buy a phone, check the specs online and decide. If you should go about looking at the positive and negative review, you will never decide... Tecno Camon C8 is a nice phone with cool features. I currently own one and it is amazing so far. My last phone was an Infinix Hot Note, but i will advice you to go for the Tecno C8 if only you wont mind the non-removable batt in it. But if you can get the Infinix Hot Note pro version, then go for that.

Same here... Using the Camon. The pro looks great, but I gats add extra bar which I don't gat.

There are many battery reviews and camera reviews though. The Camon is very Okay, however doesn't cost as much as the Infinix Hot Note Pro. The battery of the Camon does Alright as well.

Honestly, I would love to see the price of this ObiWorld SJ1.5 phone. If John Sculley makes the specs I see higher than that of the Camon, then Tecno did the world, Nigeria to be precise, a national favor. Similar specs, the Camon has somewhat better specs. I bet it wouldn't be affordable though, coming from Sculley.

Am neither a tecno nor iphone user, but most of u saying tecno camera is not as good as iphone are not categorically stating any reason other than just exclaiming and talking about the price discrepancy of the two devices. A higher price does not necessarily mean a better product, elementary economics teaches that even at secondary school level. You never can tell until u held the two gadgets to compare and see for yourselves, u bought a wristwatch for a million naira, another guy bought his for 5k, doesn't mean your own will look good more than his! Iphone pic may not look any better than tecno camon c8 pic. It may even look of lesser quality. This is my 2 cents to this discussion.

Of course, adverts always have a little hype here and there, that's how the attention of customers are caught na. But it's never overly exaggerated though. I have the phone, the comments aren't entirely exaggerated.

Wow! If this is how you do a camera test, mehn! I'm sorry to tell you you just underwent stress. Instead of a test. The Camera of the S6 beats the Camon. But the camera of the S5 really doesn't stand a chance near the Camon. The phones have different screen specs. To know which does better, you need to put both pictures side by side on same screen.

my guy i tire for all the comments oo, i don't believe it, this phone can't compare to any iphone 5 camers not to talk of the iphone6, those pics aren't good enough, i saw the video review of the LG G4 and the pics and videos were done using the camera of the phone and the clarity and detail was insane and the only phones in the same camera strength are the iphone6 and maybe samsumg galsy j7 and galaxy s6 and you guys are saying low light and bright light trash, i like tecno as they have really put in a lot of work and efforts in their brands and they have us even contemplating their phones against other high end phones, thats something i just have to hand to them, infix and tecno and maybe innjoo are really making the mobile phone market here in Nigeria thick but bros and babes, pls oooooo, just walk into any slot or major mobile phone shop in lagos where you can see these phones on display and just text for yourself, try the tecno stand and the camon c8, the samsumg stand and the samsung s6 and j7 and then the iphone stand with the iphone 5 and 6 and pls give me your feedback.

Aha! You know this. Even compared my Camon today with a friends's Sony. He was marvelled, to a degree, at the specs of the Camon.

Check HTC and Samsung's last 10 phones apart from one m9 ans S6 and edge. Note series and tell us average Ram

Until these manufacturer stop roling out 1 GB ram in their phone. Then tecno is doing a back thing...

Wait! wait o!! The front camera isn't bad o. It however produces not so conspicuous blur images because the shutter speed is not like that of the back camera, takes a while to capture the image. So, for perfect front camera images, gats try to remain steady. All this story can be improved upon though.

As for the camera it was overhyped... yes but that doesnt meat it is an average camera... cuz it is clearer than samsung galaxy s4 and s5... the only problem with d phone is that the front camera is not too good... not that its bat but its not awesome in d sence that the back camera had higher setting than the front

Nobody said anything like the phone is better than a 2gb ram phone... what we are simply saying is that the phone is faster than same 2gb ram phone... but is u are comparing it with other 1gb ram phone it is faster in processing speed and in the the graphics quality... that is the phone is better than the infinix hotenote in everysingle way... but it losses when compared with the hot note pro during multitasking... and for those who dont know multitasting is the ability of a device to run multiple applicatcations at once

Battery lasts more than 12hrs (on steady Internet use and music - HEAVY USAGE). Would last more than a whole day on average/moderate internet use. If you use the 1.2A charger that came with the phone, it would take you about 3hours, but if you use a 2A-2.1A charger, it would take you about 1hr 3omins to charge. The choice is yours. No! Doesn't come with a gorilla glass protection. I have a feeling the screen is good too, mine fell into a ceramic sink and nothing happened. Doesn't mean I'ld take such risk again sha.
