had issues with my guy. I was literally at fault as I sent him a hurtful message over an assumption without clarifying from him.

He blocked me on both WhatsApp and Facebook. I changed a number and chatted him on WhatsApp, he still blocked it. I finally got through him with my friend's WhatsApp number. After several attempts, he finally picked my calls. He talked so calmly to me, and asked why I reacted that way, I said nothing, but was only apologizing. He said he will talk to me later. He expressed how hurt he was, and reminded me that it wasn't the first time I was doing that. I kept apologizing, promising him that it won't happen again.
I waited for his call,, to no avail. I texted again, he still blocked me, and left the message. " I need space for now, I am sorry. Is that a good bye message?

With respect to the explanations given above, the advice given by someone in difficulties is mostly based on the emotions or situation that person was facing at that moment. The emotional state he is has made him illogical. He might tend to give you the wrong advice. It's much better to approach someone when he/she is emotionless.

As posted by Dranoid, someone's status or personality doesn't mean the message they are passing shouldn't be taken seriously. A smoker might give you self-control tips, that doesn't mean what he's saying isn't valid.

The rule of life is this, you might ignore the messenger but never ignore the message. Do as I say, not as I do. A poor man might give you the best advice or secrets of life that a rich man will never give; that someone is rich doesn't mean they must be equipped with valuable insights, they might just be lucky. This is also the reason why people conflate wisdom with age. An older person doesn't mean he has any life experiences. Most people grow in age but not wisdom. Growing in wisdom is dependent on many factors.

Absolutely.. Because I once had a toxic relationship.. But she was cheating on me and she really showed it.. After parting ways with each other. I later realized that there is no upgrade on her and she had settled for less.. So I really felt relieved
