*CLARIFICATION ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF CHRISTMAS RICE IN AHIAZU MBAISE/EZINIHITTE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY* The Office of Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, Member representing Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, hereby clarifies misleading accounts circulating on social media concerning the distribution of rice during the recent Christmas season, ensuring that the public is accurately informed. For the avoidance of doubt, two full trailer loads of rice, each comprising six hundred bags, were provided, one trailer for Ahiazu Local Government Area and one for Ezinihitte Local Government Area. The distribution was carried out in strict accordance with constituency consensus and coordinated through autonomous community structures. At Ezuruezu Mbaise, the leadership oversaw the distribution of rice to the Presidents-General of each autonomous community, ensuring fairness, transparency, and equitable allocation. It is on record and has been formally confirmed by the leadership of Ezuruezu Mbaise that each autonomous community received nothing less than twenty bags of rice. The exercise was structured, verifiable, and executed entirely through established community institutions. The Office is fully aware of the source of this mischief. It appears that the individual who circulated the misleading video may have intended to manipulate the situation to shortchange the community entitled to receive the rice. Such actions are deliberately misleading, factually incorrect, and entirely unacceptable. Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu remains committed to inclusive, accountable, and orderly representation, and will continue to engage communities through recognized institutions that reflect the collective will of the people. Members of the public are urged to verify information through credible community leadership and official channels and to disregard misinformation that serves no constructive or communal purpose. Signed Nnamdi Ukasanya Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Office of Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu Member representing Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency Date: 12/01/2026 *PRESS RELEASE* *Date: 23rd December 2025* *RT. HON. EMEKA MARTINS CHINEDU ANNOUNCES CHRISTMAS RICE DISTRIBUTION ACROSS AHIAZU MBAISE/EZINIHITTE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY* The Member representing Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, extends warm Christmas greetings to the people of the constituency and announces the provision of two trailer loads of rice for the festive season, in furtherance of his enduring commitment to the welfare of constituents. Each trailer contains 600 bags of rice, with one trailer allocated to Ahiazu Mbaise and the other allocated to Ezinihitte. Rt. Hon. Chinedu emphasized that the distribution will be strictly non-partisan, affirming his resolve to promote fairness and inclusiveness across the federal constituency, irrespective of political affiliation. The Honourable Member has decided that constituents should determine the most appropriate method for distributing the rice, so that it reaches every autonomous community in Ahiazu Mbaise and Ezinihitte. Constituents are encouraged to submit suggestions on the best framework for the exercise. Once a particular method is adopted, the date and venue for the distribution will be formally announced. He expressed appreciation for the patience, understanding, and unity of the people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, and reaffirmed his resolute commitment to people-centred representation and responsive leadership. *EZINIHITTE YOUTH LEADERS PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON RT. HON. EMEKA MARTINS CHINEDU AND CALL FOR CONTINUITY* Ezinihitte youth leaders recently paid a strategic visit to the Honourable Member representing Ahiazu Mbaise and Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, to formally express confidence in his leadership and urge him to offer himself for another term. The visit was neither ceremonial nor exploratory. It was driven by careful observation and the conviction that effective representation should be sustained rather than disrupted. The youth leaders maintained that continuity at this stage is a matter of wisdom and strategy, not sentiment. In articulating their position, they invoked the Igbo proverb, “A sị, E meemaa onye akịdí, ya a gwọta ọ̀dọ̀,” highlighting the belief that once a capable hand who understands the path has been found, it is unwise to abandon experience for trial and error. According to them, Mbaise has already identified a representative who does not only have his people at heart but also understands the system and has demonstrated the capacity to navigate it effectively. They noted that representation under Rt. Hon. Chinedu has been defined by presence, accessibility, and purposeful engagement. These qualities, they observed, have restored confidence in governance, particularly among young people, and deserve consolidation rather than needless experimentation. Beyond continuity, the youth leaders emphasized the importance of positioning Rt. Hon. Chinedu for greater responsibility within the legislature. They argued that political influence is built over time through consistency, relationships, and institutional knowledge, and that Mbaise requires a strong and steady presence within the system—one capable of growing with contemporaries and translating that maturity into tangible benefits for the constituency, as evident in other areas where legislative continuity has yielded strategic advantage. The delegation, led by Comr. Chidubem Ajaegbu and Comr. Jackson Okedumnaka, affirmed that the youth are united and prepared to stand firmly behind Rt. Hon. Chinedu whenever the need arises, describing their position as reflective of prevailing sentiment across communities. In his response, Rt. Hon. Chinedu expressed appreciation for the confidence shown and the thoughtful manner in which the youth articulated their concerns. He commended their engagement and sense of responsibility, reaffirmed his commitment to focused, policy-driven representation, and assured them that their request would receive due consideration. The meeting concluded on an encouraging note, marked by shared optimism and renewed purpose, reinforcing the simple truth that when leadership delivers, loyalty follows naturally. ~Nnamdi Ukasanya SA, Media & Publicity to Rt. Hon. Emeka Chinedu (MHR)

Op, this is just your imagination, you would have said it from the beginning of your post. I think the meeting was held in your house and no media was invited. Please you people should leave south east alone, south east is not landlocked and when state creation is due, it will come from entirely south east to make up for the 6th state from the south east. We don't need Anioma state for south east. Masterstroke4: |
