Buhari is the greatest Scam ever sold to Nigerias.
Funny enough, the same person that sold that scam to Nigerians is the same person complaining today.

PoliticsRe: Bigotry: We Can't Vote For A Yoruba Man In Edo- Obidients by Chinjo2:
I am not one to encourage tribalism but it is a known fact the there is a general consensus that the next Governor should come from Edo Ce.tral.
Apart from that, Olumide Akpata is the least qualified amongst the three front runners.

Let him tell us what he has done so far to deserve to be voted as the next Governor of the state.

Monday Okpebholo is a grassroot man loved by the Esan people for his philanthropic work. He is also a sitting Senator.

Asue Ighodalo though not very popular amongst his kinsmen but has always been helping to drive the economic prosperity of the state since the days of Oshiomhole and now Obaseki as head of the Economic team. Former Chairman of Sterling Bank, Former Chairman of Nigeria Brewery, Member of Nigeria Economic Summit group, Chairman of Nigeria Sovereign Wealth Fund. He also has the backing of Governor Obaseki and Edo Central PDP caucus.

Olumide Akpata on the other hand has only the former president of NBA on his CV. Until now nobody even know his name is Osaigbovo
but because of politics, he has resurrected the name.

Edo people voted massively for Peter Obi because of his pedigree and not because of Labour Party. That is one fact that a lot of people outside the state have failed to realize.

My conclusion is that LP has no chance at all in the forth coming Election.
PoliticsRe: What Exactly Did Nigeria Do With The Huge Loans Choking The Economy? by Chinjo2: 6:57pm On Mar 03, 2024
Looted by same government officials.
Nigeria is the only country that collects loans and the loan is looted by government officials and nothing will happen.

Contracts are over inflated and contractors will go to Church to give testimony of how they won a multi million naira contract then finally, they will pay what is now called Corporate tithe from such over inflated contracts.

Nigeria is really a joke.

waynetee:
Olumide Akpata is the man we will all vote for.

Those saying esan lokan are tribalist urchins and don't want a good government, elupee top to bottom!
Tell me what Olumide Akpata has achieved in his personal career and jesterpose it with what Asue Ighodalo has achieved then tell me who deserve to be the next Governor. In Edo we don't follow people blindly. We voted for LP because of Peter Obi and not because of LP.

LegendHero:
Shinedu my friend, you are not being truthful.

In 2020 we all campaigned against Godfatherism citing Edo no be Lagos. Now I feel sad that some Edo people are now supporting Godfatherism by saying they will vote Ighodalo, a godson of Obaseki.

Man inhumanity to man. Suffer no dey tire them? 😭
What do you call godfatherism? We are talking about the most qualified candidate here and that person is Asue Ighodalo. We don't do blind politics in Edo state. Don't fall for Philip Shaibu's blackmail.
Edo north produced Oshiomhole for 8 years, Edo South produced Obaseki for 8 years and now it is the turn of Edo Central to produce the governor for the next 8 years and Obaseki has supported the most qualified candidate of all of them.
Please do a research on all the three major candidates and tell me between you and your God who is more qualified to be the next Governor of Edo state.

PoliticsRe: An Obidient Expresses His Displeasure Over Edo State Obidients Rooting For PDP by Chinjo2: 10:40pm On Mar 01, 2024
Election in Edo state is about the candidates and not about the political party.
Edo voted massively for Labour Party because of their believe in the competence of Peter Obi.
In the forth coming Election, Asue Ighodalo is the most competent of all candidates based on his antecedence.

That is why people are aligning towards him and not because of PDP.

PoliticsRe: Oronsaye Report: Reduce The Size Of Your Cabinet Too, Adegboruwa Tells Tinubu by Chinjo2: 1:54pm On Feb 27, 2024
Exactly. Tinubu has the highest number of Ministers since 1999 okay a time when the government are complaining of lack of funds.
Charity they say must begin at home.
He should first start by pruning his cabinet to a reasonable size then he will have the moral justification to implement the Oronsaye report.

Nice one @NPFLagos.
At least let's pretend to be civilized people for once.
Police and other Security Agencies are also affected by the hunger in the land.
I saw a video of how a solider was trying to scale through the custom fence just because of 10k rice.

All protesters should stand against anybody that tries to destroy any property because they are enemies of the state.
CareerAsue Ighodalo Congratulates Apc Monday Okpebholo, Lp Olumide Akpata by Chinjo2(op): 3:20pm On Feb 26, 2024
*Ighodalo congratulates APC, Labour Candidates, calls for Issue-based campaigns*

*_...says he is in the race to bring prosperity to Edolites, transform Edo from a third world economy to a first world sub-national_*

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate in the forthcoming Edo State Governorship election, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, congratulated the governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP) Senator Monday Okpebholo and Barr. Olumide Akpata on their emergence as flag bearers for their respective Parties; urging them to join him in a commitment to focus on issue-based campaigns ahead of the 2023 Governorship election.

Dr. Ighodalo restated his firm belief that Edo’s strength was the unity of her people; and he appealed to all candidates to refrain from campaigning with messages that promote division and disunity. “The February 2023 general elections saw a level of hate and vitriol masked as political sloganeering that took this nation to the brink; and the fires politicians lit back then continued to smoulder across the nation.

“I and my team will continue to campaign to the people of Edo State in language and behaviour that seeks to unite rather than divide. We will stay focused on the issues that matter to our people; and there will be no descent into abuse, ethnic-baiting and name-calling. We must not destroy the unity of the State we seek to govern. I therefore urge all my fellow candidates to similarly run respectful issue-based campaigns.” he said.

Dr. Asue Ighodalo, who expressed concern over the level of economic hardship people were going through, stated that he and his team of young professionals and politicians have identified a pathway to the lifting of millions of citizens into prosperity.

“We intend to open up the state by reducing insecurity, and by securing the financing and attracting the private sector investors needed to build our intrastate roads; I, working with my team, will grow the economy of the state, create jobs, and provide a better life for our people.”

Dr. Ighodalo emerged as the winner of the PDP Governorship primaries conducted at the lawn tennis court inside the Ogbe Stadium sports complex, on Thursday the 22nd of February, 2024.

PoliticsRe: President Tinubu’s Visit To Qatar: Onanuga Explains Qatar’s "Rejection Letter" by Chinjo2: 2:52am On Feb 25, 2024
Shame on you.
That letter is very clear and unambiguous.
It requires no explanation at all.

1. No agreement on investment between Nigeria and Qatar.

2. The Qatari Minister of trade will be out of the country on official assignment.

3. Qatar will be hosting a WEB summit and all state's functionaries will be very busy.

Read number 3 reason very well. Does it require any explanation?

Please Mr President, they have indirectly told you that you are not wanted. Please for the sake of God, save that millions of Dollars you would have wasted on that trip and channel it to revamp the economy.

Nigerians are really suffering.
