Goodmorning nairalanders. Thank you all for all the updates and encouragement.
I am in a dilemma. My husband has HND and he wanted to go for masters in UK. He reached out to an agent and the agent told him that he can’t go for masters with HND. The agents told him not to worry and he collected 300k for the admission application.
He also collected additional 200k for visa processing asides from the visa application fee.
All documents used for visa application was gotten by my husband and they are genuine documents.
My husband later got to know that he forged Bsc certificates for him. He used that and the HND to get admission for my husband.
My husband got the visa and has paid tuition deposit.

My mind keeps telling me that he might get caught. I told him but he said there is nothing he can do now as he has already paid tuition deposit and there is no refund. He is to travel this April.
He said the agent told him that they won’t verify the certificates and if they want to, he should present only his HND.
I’m scared for my husband.

P.S: This is beginning to bring problems in my marriage. My husband said he didn’t know he used a fake certificate for him until when he was about going for biometrics when the agent mentioned it to him. My husband is an honest man who was deceived but now he can’t afford to forfeit £5,500.

I want to find out if the Masters in Nursing program which leads to registration is open to people who already have a Bsc in Nursing. It is not stated clearly on the schools websites.
Also, I want a recommendation of schools that are really good with nursing.

That particular program isn’t open to bsc nursing holders. You can write the school of your choice for available programs for bsc nursing holders.
You can enquire from uni of edinburgh, uni of southhampton, uni of manchester. These schools are good but there are other good ones too.

EVERY, and I mean EVERY visa application is treated on its own merit.

The correlation between previous denials and subsequent denials or granting is usually over-stated.

Refusals are usually accompanied by reasons (explanation) for the decision. If those reasons are addressable , and addressed, acceptance usually follows.

Not for Canada my dear... I can assure you. Infact after a Canadian refusal, do yourself some good by saving your time and money by not reapplying... especially if you’re reapplying immediately
They have one of the most strict visa process.. even pass US, except now that Trump is making things super difficult

I have been denied US visa 4 times, Canada 2, UK 1 while my husband UK once and US 3 times.

He applied for UK study visa on the 16th of January, priority, they proved his, mine and our son yesterday, 22nd January. Abuja visa office.

Hello ya'll. I've been a silent follower in this forum. I'll tell my story but I'll keep it short and simple.

So I was refused canada, USA and Australian study visas even though I paid full tuition for each of them. I decided to try uk. Went for my interview on the 21st of November 2019. Was called for a 2nd interview on the 23rd of december which lasted for more than 1 hour 30mins.
God being faithful, I just collected by passport this evening and visa granted.
I didn't wait for everything to show green when I was tracking it.as soon as the 4th one turned green, I went to VAC.
Never give up.

I also did my biometric on the 19th of December and up till no collection response. I don’t know whatelse to do as my school started on Monday 6th. They gave me 2 weeks extension but then I’m still � sad.

About that TB certificate, must I do another xray?
I did medicals mid last year for Canada so I don’t know if IOM can use that test results to prepare a TB certificate rather than me doing another xray. Apart from the money involved, exposure to xray once again in less than a year is not too good.
Any ideas or anybody been in this situation before

THE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS ACTUALLY DEPEND ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE INDIVIDUAL BUT YOU MUST SAY YOUR NAME, DATE OF BIRTH AND HOW THE COURSE RELATE TO YOUR CAREER GOALS.

Wow! So it really doesn’t matter if you’ve been refused a visa before. Although I read online that it isn’t advisable to use priority or super priority service if you’ve been refused a visa previously. Thank God for that o because I have also been refused Canadian visa.
So I can go ahead to use the priority service then :-)

Interview lasted about 15mins. You have to talk slowly as he/she is typing your answers as you say them.
The person that interviewed me is very friendly.

Abeg someone should kindly explain this 28 day rule for me coz I’m a bit confused.
Must the money be in the account for exactly 28 days? Or do they mean the money should have been in the account for at least 28 days?

This tuberculosis test for uk visa.. is it sputum test or x-ray?
Another thing is, for someone that recently conducted medical examinations(xray and blood tests) in the same IOM for another country but was refused visa, does the person still need to do another test for uk?
Or can’t they use the records they have?

I plan to pay soon : around £10,500 (N5m)but don't know how much the transfer charges maybe so that I can add this to the payment...

Also GT bank told me I cant transfer using Savings Accounts except I have a Current Account.

I don’t know about the claim in question but I didn’t pay from a naira account
I paid from here(Nigeria) but from a USD account and I can’t really measure the exact charges but it was much coz my deposit was short by the time It got there... so I had to make another payment to make it up

Sincerely the charges are something else.. I was wondering about this myself
I recently paid my tuition deposit but because of charges the amount tha Reflected there was short... despite the extra money I added on top just incase
