l have said it before that the new agent he brought is a complete slowpoke and scum bag. Apart from the Nov/Dec period we had general custom issues, the old agent was always delivering Friday or Saturday. Now this slowpoke takes 7-10 to clear just one consignment. Instead of Chinos doing something about it he always run to his defence. In biz, you always strive to get better and improve not to move backward. This gross incompetence by your agent should not be condoled.

I'm sure you will do a better job if i hand my shipping business over to you. That clearing agent you call a slowpoke and scum bag is an elderly man and old enough to be your father. Besides, he's not even the one clearing this cargo, i handed this weeks cargo over to ahmed's bros in customs to clear yet the result is the same. No need rushing to conclusions.

Good day everyone, There will be no shipment for this week, i'm still behind on Feb 16th (1 dg crate still awaiting customs clearing) and i need to pay some attention to Feb 23rd and March 2nd Shipment hopefully to get them out tomorrow or Friday.

I'm currently using exchange rate at $1 to N210, this rate could possible go up or down depending on when you make payment.

Sundays are my only free days to get some rest, please limit phone calls on this day.

Nigerian time is currently 7hrs ahead of Texas time, its hard for me to answer any phone calls at midnight or early hours. Please call after 3pm Nigerian time. For issues about invoice update you can contact my Manager at 08035439982 or Ndidi 08030837047.

Consolidation issues: I have been getting a lot of rude text/email/phone calls about my consolidation service. Please be advised that this service is very time consuming and yet we do it for free. Looking for the right box, getting packages out from several boxes and eventually getting them consolidated takes between 20mins to 30mins for each customer and several hrs for bulky fragile items. To avoid late airport deliveries, We will start consolidating packages Wednesday/Thursday and any other package that arrives at my office between Friday and early Saturday will be consolidated separately with another invoice issued.

Apologies for the recent delays. These delays wasn't due to my clearing agent but was due to a dg shipment that got missing and lead to custom screening on the rest of my cargo. I will also be alternating between 2 custom clearing agents to see if delivery times will improve.

Seriously chinos you need to do something here, l understand from Ndidi that you changed ur agent after Dec Nacho palava. l must say that this is a case of jumping from frying pan to fire. l mean how can this damn agent not be able to clear goods that have been in Lagos since Wednesday, this is almost one week. if it takes this long to clear goods without customs having internal issues nobody will ever try importation. For me the guy is complete slowpoke and should be dispersed with ASAP. For heaven sake we can't continue like this. Am so pissed off now

Yea, l'm using a new agent which i think is doing a good job. My last 2 shipments he delivered on Thursday (aiming for Wednesdays) The issue with this current shipment is not his fault. I have a customer whom i shipped 47kg of DG (dangerous goods) that shipped in a small wood crate. My airline confirmed they shipped this DG but Lagos can't find it. This is whats going on but my clearing agent has promised to deliver tomorrow.

No worries, usps delivered 146 packages today, trying to sort them out. Will also be shipping this week.

Chinos, you might consider changing your clearing agent, because I am familiar with another forwarder whose shipments clear customs within 24 hrs, consistently. For example, his last flight left US 19th, arrived 20th, and by Sat 21st evening, people were getting their items.
I will not mention names here for obvious reasons, but a little research in this forum will reveal all.
One week to clear customs is just too much.

thanks for your suggestion but I'm keeping my agent. I ship from Tx, use a different airline and ship via cargo only airline (non passenger).

We are Still trying to get feb 16th out hopefully by tonight or tomorrow they will be out. Work has been slow at customs due to agents restriction from comptroller recent visit.

I'm out of town trying to finish some professional exams. Will be back in the office tomorrow. I have also called usps to hold packages until I return tomorrow.
