he has gone there but was told to keep checking, but i feel they just want to post them so that they won't keep on disturbing them. right now they are in case number 16,600 and according to them, they said they will be in case number 18,450 by september, which means that will be the last cases they will treat for 2008. ( thats my own opinion anyway) please what else can someone do in order to get the second letter and be called for interview.

Please my dear nairalanders, a colleague of mine who won 2008 american visa lottery, he received his notification letter last year and since then up till this present day, he has not received the second letter, his case number is AF21XXX, and its like he might not be called because the interview will be over by September 30, 2008.

Please can someone who knows about the procedures should please explain to me better because we're bothered. Will he still be called for interview or not? please what can he do about this issue? though he has been to the american embassy and he was told that he should keep on checking.

please i need an explanation.

Thank you
Celebrities / Re: Genevieve vs Omotola vs Ini Edo vs Stella damascus by Chinyere(f): 9:07am On Jul 31, 2008
@ rampant and ruby
God bless you my dear sisters, you really know her very well just like i do. Gene is so full of herself, she's a big time snub, so who gives a damn about her anyway? but what we are saying in essence is that even if God has blessed you, does it mean you will not have regard for other common people? by the way, what does she even have self that people do not have?
I still stand on my word, my Omoteee is far far better than her, people love her because of her cheerfulness and humility and that doesn't change her, it does not make her inferior or less important in the society. there's nothing like humility, because, you are not the owner of your life, even the bible recorded that when you humble yourself, God will exalt you so why should one think she's untop of the world when your creator is there.

Please my dear fellow nairalanders, please lets humble ourselves, no matter the position we find ourselves, pride chased lucifer out of heaven, so humility goes a long way in ones life. there's always a reward for that, you might not know now, but when the time comes, God will exalt you.
Celebrities / Re: Genevieve vs Omotola vs Ini Edo vs Stella damascus by Chinyere(f): 4:28pm On Jul 30, 2008
yes, they might all have their shortcomings but at the same time, you talk of omotola's interview, but i'm telling you what happens off air, for real. Genevieve is more full of herself, take it or leave it. omotola is just been herself anytime, anyday.
Thank you and have a nice day
Celebrities / Re: Genevieve vs Omotola vs Ini Edo vs Stella damascus by Chinyere(f): 4:05pm On Jul 30, 2008
@ michelin89
its because you've not come in contact with her one on one, if i've not, i wont say it.
if you say omo.t. is not humble, then try Gene, you will know the big difference.
By the way, have you come in contact with any of these pple? pls you need to check out so many things before you come into conclusion, if you don't know it that one's character is one's beauty, if you have a good behaviour alongside a good appearance, then you are perfect at been inperfect, cos its only God that is perfect.
Gene is full of pride and she snubs, this is what i know because where she normally go for her facial treatment at V/Island, its my cousin that treats her face for her, she knows how she behaves, she's too full of herself.

moreso, she's got a lot of pimples on her, forget all this soft touch pictures you are seeing, she's not as fine as that, she's short.
Celebrities / Re: Genevieve vs Omotola vs Ini Edo vs Stella damascus by Chinyere(f): 9:06am On Jul 30, 2008
michelin89, you've just mentioned your own statistics, then if you are not going to include all other qualities and attributes, then there's no pint includind omotola alongside other candidates.

you see the fact here remains that omotola has given birth yet she still looks good, how did you know that ini is working on her weight? see let her drop just one kid, i bet you she will be completely out of the category, (incomparable) Ini has a very soft body and a fat tendency, though beautiful but just let her be in the same shoes with others, so you have to look into so many things before you jump into conclusion.

Then if you want to make your selections, then it gotta be single ladies without issues, then you can now compare ini-edo with other young celebrities who has not given birth. thats how it should go

However, i still stand on my statistics- Omotola still represents anytime, anyday, she's my G. when it comes to socializing, she's there, in terms of humility, she's there, so what are we talking about here?

So my dear, you have to reshuffle your statistics.
Celebrities / Re: Genevieve vs Omotola vs Ini Edo vs Stella damascus by Chinyere(f): 4:36pm On Jul 29, 2008
u guys are really funny, before you compare and contrast, first and foremost, there are some characteristics you must look out for before you finally come into conclusion. There are two stages

1st Stage-

First is your appearance
Second is Your Physic
Third is your age range
Fourth is whether the person has dropped before. ( I mean children)

2nd Stage

First your educational background
Second is your personality
Third is what can you deliver upstairs? i:e- what skills and abilities do they possess as an individual?

In a nutchell, who has the best characteristics
To the best of my knowledge, i think it goes this way

Omotola Jolade Ekeinde is a wife and a mother of four beautiful kids, how many beautiful people with four children can you bring out and still remains elegant as Omotola, she has actually dropped four in her body, you know what that means? she is still representing. in Educational aspect, Omotola is educated and very creative yet under a man. Omotola is a very cheerful lady, always herself anytime

Stella is another naturally endowed woman, she used to be married with kid until she lost her man, she is also representing up till tomorrow. check out her flat tommy and her warmth smile. she's well groomed. Stella is also educated. and very down to earth

Genevieve is another mother of one, she has a cool beauty, check out her flat tommy and her ebony look, her physic still represents too. in terms of education, i don't think she has all, she's just after fame and wealth.

Ini is still single, she has a lot of flesh in her as a matter of fact and she has the tendency of getting fatter in future, you just watch her, if she gives birth to a baby, i bet you, you will not recognize her again, because she will be so blown up!!! that you cannot even compare her with others that have given birth. Her educational aspect, i feel she passed through school but school didn't pass through her, its not just acting that matters only in life, but what can you offer, what positive impact can you make through productive thinking, creativity and profitable ideas.

Overall, the rating therefore goes this way-

Omotola (Appearance-80%, physic- 60%, age-50%, education- 60%, personality -80%, creativity- 60%) total - 390%
Stella ( Appearance- 70%, Physic-70%, age- 50%, education- 50%, personality - 75%, creativity- 30%) total - 345%
Genevieve (Appearance 65%, physic- 70%, age 40%, education- 40%, personality -40%, creativity -20%) total - 275%
Ini- edo ( Appearance- 59%, physic- 50%, age 40%, education -25%, personality- 15%, creativity -5%) total- 194%

Therefore. going by this statistics, Omotola won
Stella 2nd
Genevieve 3rd
Ini-edo 4th

pls i want to know the new development. Are they truly going to stop with case numbers below 18,450 as stated in the bulletin?

What about people with case numbers 25,000 upward? and has it been happening before now that someone who has won an american lottery, sent a notification letter, filled it and submit accordingly and thereafter, the person is not sent a second letter for interview? please if it has happened to someone before, i'll be glad if the person can reply me and inform me about it.

Pls anyone with correct info.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 2008 Dv Lottery Kcc by Chinyere(f): 3:19pm On Jul 18, 2008
pls i have a colleague who won this 2008 dv lottery.

he filled the forms and submitted and since then uptill now, he has not received his 2nd letter from KCC. his case number is 21XXX. he has mailed KCC and he was told that they are still below case numbers 18XXX, and was also given a site to check where the case number falls in , but to the best of my knowledge, is like the 2008 lottery winners will end by 30th of this September.

Please, i have 2 questions to ask and i would appreciate if i can be relayed with relevant and reliable answers, i mean if anyone knows better and genuine answer to this question.

(1). Is it true that not all those that won the american visa lottery and was sent a notification letter will get the
second letter from KCC?

(2) The mail you will see below is what KCC replied him recently after informing them that he is still expecting his second letter. please read as follows:

Thank you for your inquiry.

Your forms have been received and are acceptable for the continuation of your visa processing. KCC is currently scheduling visa numbers below 18,450 for your region for the month of September. If your case number is current, KCC will send a notification letter to you via postal mail. Please refer to the visa bulletin at www.travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month.

- My question now is, does it mean winners above 18,450 will not be given a second letter since they are closing the 2008 set by September 30.

Please if anyone knows what we can do about this should please inform us and assist. if there's truly a way out with someone with 21,000 case number.

Look forward to hear from someone. Thanks

According to the next bulletin, which is September, its written that Nigeria's cut-off will be 18,450,00. Does it mean that they won't go further than that case number? or is it just an advance notification and not concluded.

Thanks khai, but according to the website, they are still in 14,500 and we have only 2months to go. so if i should go with this current bulletin, then it means they might not get to 21,000? pls what is the probabilty that they will get to that case number? pls heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

Hello my fellow nairalanders,

Please anyone with useful information on the 2008 Dv Visa Lottery? i learnt that the interview is still going on until September 30th, but my friend was one of the lucky winners, he has been notified since last year June, he filled it and submitted, and after like two months, he mailed them in KCC to confirm if they've received his letter and they replied him that it has been received and he should be waiting for the second letter, but since then, he has not seen any letter of that kind and the interview is almost coming to an end.

His case number is 2008AF21XXX. Please anyone in the house with latest and useful information on this issue should please advice accordingly as he's badly waiting for these second letter.
