So apparently two different scores have been displayed on my portal
73% immediately after test, a mail containing a score of 3% was sent 36 minutes later
Any idea why?!
...I just checked my portal and a score of 3% is just sitting there gallantly. |

On the other hand, if you can afford the cost by any means, it will be worth it at the end of the day. Usually I advise people to go for PhD in NZ instead of MSc except you're really loaded Thank you for the feedback. I will check out the Doctoral Programme in UoA. |

Solatium: I don't even need to finish reading up your rubbish before I can say conclusively that YOU ARE A COMPLETE NOVICE,you only want to sound like a seasoned economist without a basic knowledge of economy,an SS 3 student knows that the more you spend on imported goods the more forex you need. The argument here is why farm out what you can do conveniently to a foreigner? why give a thing a little as retail business to a foreign firm thinking you are attracting a foreign investor?
You also goofed by saying oil sale was the driver of our economy in the 80's. oil was here since 1954 and the boom was in the early 70's. The main stay of our economy was Groundnuts pyramid of kano,Cocoa From the West and Coal from the East.
I can guess your age with your level of intelligence and your mode of argument. Complexity is your problem, misuse of words is another, the fact I said Nigerians should take over the running of the economy doesn't indicate am canvasing for socialism. You obviously don't know the distinction between Capitalism and Socialism. the difference between home-grown solution and wall Street deception.
The Israelis have an habit of circulating the funds within their community up to 12 times before allowing it to go outside of their orbit. The Indians have imbibe same thing by allowing the same funds to go round them for at Least 8 time's,that is why you see that Indians grow from strength to strength. The Chinese doesn't even allow their money goes elsewhere, everything they need and want is manufacturer by them and here is a deluded Nigerian canvasing for CAPITAL FLIGHT.
With people like you, Africans will remain a slave to the rest of word. ALL HAIL THE SEASONED EXPERIENCE INSEAD TRAINED ECONOMIST HEIL HEIL HEIL Chinese doesn't allow their money elsewhere so the Chinese Infrastructural Investment in Africa are what. Groundnut Pyramids Check Local Businesses encouraged due to frustrated FDI Check Socialist economic policies check compare yourself with China and India Check what's next?? Retard Isreal's biggest revenue steam is IT, R& and Military Technologies (These are exports), what's ours?! ours is oil and its dwindling, instead of encouraging FDI, you're saying yes to CBN influenced inflation. Solatium: You need to understand basic economy before you open up your mouth and vomit gibberish. If you build your local industries who needs a FDI? foreign investor's are ALWAYS A SHORT TERM INVESTORS MATTER HOW LONG THEY STAY THEY WILL ALWAYS PULL OUT ONE DAY AND RUN TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY WITH THEIR LOOT. Your local brothers here have no where to run to once he established here, the money stays here, your naira appreciates, your sibling's have a job,Your custom officer won't have a bribe to negotiate on finished goods brought in and Substandard goods won't be brought in. The problem with you is inferiority complex,a thinking that a foreigner will come and liberate your economy. I don't know how old you are but I witnessed it in the 80's,our local brands were allover the place, manufacturing is been done here, that was the reason Naira was stronger than $ and £ ,the reason your uncle and your Dad had a means of livelihood, the reason your Dad did not required a Visa to visit UK.
Procter and Gamble is not doing any manufacturing, all they do is bring in imported finished products in bulk and repackage, unfortunately the Indians and Lebanese who manufacturer in Ogun/Oyo STATE Axis wèrè able to beat them to the price war because they manufacturer from the end to finish here, they don't require huge forex to import, some of their content are even source locally.
Why do you think Nigeria breweries and Guiness Is waxing stronger? the embrace local raw material which has drives down their cost of production to a reasonable standard.
Let me ask you if there is anything ShopRite is bringing in that we don't have local substitute here? point me that thing and I will give up this conversation with you.
Lastly Brands evolve, the likes of Leventis Kingsway and the ilks were here in the 80's . Cash and Carry, UTC and the rest emerged and survived through the 90's . Now it is ShopRite, Spar and the rest,in 20yrs time we shall be talking about another brand another load of crap Just say you don't know Majority of their Farm to Table produce are from Nigerian Farmers. but you don't would you! you don't want to trade with other countries, but you want FDI, don't want foreign companies investing in your country. you think with the naira will appreciate as per what, as per encouraging local businesses without FDI, continue, NEXT thing you'll suggest that CBN should print more naira so that naira will appreciate until inflation will slap you in your face. and the reason naira was strong in the 80's was because of the oil discovery that lead to large inflow of foreign investment has nothing to do with local businesses. Naira was very strong, we had hope but..... ever since, oil has been catering for close to 90-95% of the country's revenue and budget funding HAHAHAHA do you use naira to buy import fuel and diesel, do you use naira to travel, is naira relevant outside the borders of Nigeria. Our economy is shrinking, we need FDI now more than ever Another Socialist spotted, the Lower middle class has shrunk, this was whom the Shoprite Retail Business was catering for, those Indians and Chinese are just making the products for the Lower class. Another Mugabe Economist spotted don't worry chase away all the foreign investors and you'll have the local businesses take over. you don't want to solve the issues that lead to Shoprite exist but because a local company will take over they won't have issues. Every FMCG local and foreign are reporting heavy losses but no kick them out. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oga Economist KICK OUT MTN WE HAVE GLO, KICK out evercompany that has a Nigerian alternative. hahahaha Seems like oil sale during the pandemic did not open our eyes, Nigeria needs serious revenue something to bring value into the country either export or FDI. But you closed border with countries that could trade easily with you and started crying when the created a new currency and excluded you. Oshey Giant of Africa, Food Inflation and Inflation is on the increase. Doesn't it even scare you that our budget is 90% devt servicing, oil revenue id drying up we need fotrign investment, that's how GOKADA and OPAY was fustrated after a combined investment of about $600 million KICK every Foreigner out they are looting Us; MUGABE Junior Brother. HAHAHHAHAHA If a product is too expensive it's not meant for you the Chinese know that our purchasing power is shrinking badly, that's why they can make inferior phones and sell to us and we buy, phones that they don't even use outside Africa but that's what we can afford. oh yes ban chinese phones let us start making our won phones, then when FG and our importers goes to import fuel, diesel and other things, they would use naira because you know Naira is strong because of local businesses. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |

Luckydubby7: . For jumia I have worked there I must tell you that jumia have been incurring loses since they started.
For Shoprite, I'm currently working with a company that supply all supermarket equipment from shelves to refrigerator to accessories. Competition is just too much. Everyone want to own a retail store. Most foreign Companies are incurring heavy loses Unilever just recorded about 5.5 or 7.4% loss, Multichoice has been incurring losses for about 3yrs. Nigerians don't even understand Economics but celebrating stupid decisions like border closure that lead to food inflation is what they will be celebrate. Our demand for rice is 6.5 million tonnes Foreign supply is 1.8 million tones local supply is 1.7 million tones Instead of finding a way to increase production, reduce production loses, maximize harvest find a way to solve the transportation of farm produce round the country we are closing border because we have rice in Ebonyi and Kano State. |

Solatium: No one is telling you that a supermart will sell 100% local goods, Tesco ASDA sainsbury and Lidl sells products from other European countries. But more of home grown products. ShopRite don't pay for local goods up front, they provide a space for people to showcase their products and sell them, they allocate stand to manufacturers and collect money from them, they still collect rebate on Good's sold. They only stand as a middle man between buyer and sellers,I repeat we don't need foreign supermarket, let us grow our own local content and keep our money here.
we all know cost of doing business in Nigeria is high, even at that they still make their money in multiple folds. What MTN made in Nigeria as profits during lockdown triple's the gross of their earnings in SA. Naija Is a market for anything and everything, capture Naija Market, you have the whole of Africa in your pocket what you just wrote is the dumbest piece of crap I've ever seen. We are losing Foreign Investors that will bring FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) into the country and boost the economy and help our failing Naira but you're are betching about local companies. Shoprite will import goods that has a shelf life of 3 months but because of our Corrupt Customs Service and the long waiting time the containers spend at the port before clearance, the goods will expire and spoil and then money, value and goods are lost. Instead of talking about implementing Economic policies that will attract foreign investment you're jubilating that foreign Companies are leaving. Lol like any local company will replicate Shoprite Retail Business. Proctor and Gamble built a $300 million factory and closed it after a year because of stupid economic polices and a failing currencies. But no jubilate because Uche, Tayo and Ahmed will start their company. and fyi our purchasing power is shrinking so Nigeria is gradually becoming irrelevant in the business world. |

lawalkenny: The test is quite easy, two sections. Section A invovle questions on verbal reasoning, quantitative reasonig, logical reasoning nd abit of current affairs. Just study d normal Gmat questions continuosly to prepare well for dis section. Section B is essay writing. You get to chose a topic from about three or four topics. Easy topics like who is my role model, your goals for d next few yrs nd how dey relate to a career in Kpmg, why you want to work with kpmg, how you exhibited leadership qualities either in schl or ur local community, arguing abt d influence of family on d growh of a child versus peer groups, etc. Just prepare well, if ur centre is on d island, dey normally give more dan enough time for the test nd its always paper nd pencil test but if its nt on d island, u ar likely to do CBT.. best of luck. Thanks |
