To all, A friend of mine in the diaspora is trying to sell a plot of land in Amuwo odofin size is about 970sq meters( in a govt scheme). The land in question is not too far from Durban hotel. my question is: How much should he market this land? What is the market rate of standard plot of land in that area? please any advise/comment will be appreciated. |

HOUSE, I am in the process of doing the ceiling of my house in Lagos. I need help in finding a nice designs. I have been giving an estimate of 250,000 naira for a 42sqm living room and 30sqm dinning living for a regular pop. my questions are: is this price reasonable? does any one have a design of an Italian pop ceiling i can see and where to purchase it? thanks anyway,it is highyly unusual to apply for a govt land without knowing the price. what if after applying the prices are out of ur reach? u are out of 70,000 naira.This is not how it works in lagos state. |

nairalanders, I have just received an estimate for plastering a 4 flat units.each unit consist of 3bedrooms and 2 baths each.my builder gave me an estimate of 190,000 naira for the external plastering and 590,000 naira for internal plastering.one of the flat has a decorative ceiling already,no plastering needed on that flat.Am not based in Naija.I need advise from builders,architects and ordinary people who has just done same.he is also asking to buy about 320bags of cement.The property is located in Lagos-Egbeda area.Thanks a lot to all. |

paid 150,000 naira to drllled a borehole in Alausa- october 08.got several estimates which range from 150,000 to 170,00 naira. |

it is clearly stated on the letter of allocation from Lagos state government that the land allocated must be fully developed after 2 years of issuance of c of 0. will this be strictly enforce? who know? probably not,but u cant be too sure. |
