congratulations to you on the completion of your house. You are absolutely right about lesson learnt from your experience. I totally agree that once you have a land you should start with whatever amount is available. I have also learnt a lot from this great forum. I had my house warming yesterday and my tenants will be moving in today. Thanks for sharing. Let me add one more thing, make your project small and achievable, otherwise you be building for donkey years like I did.

Here goes another developer who will tie up your money for donkey years... This looks like another Mowe in the making. Why cant these developers learn how to the things in order. Put the necessary infrastructure in place and customers will come. That may require them to borrow money from the banks or looks for investors. Please don't make promises you cant keep. Why don't you clear the Buses, do drainage, fence the perimeter, and demarcate the plots before starting your marketing. You are banking on using the customers money to do all these. If not enough people signed up, the few that do will wait forever to get their plots. Please we've gone through this in the Mowe axis. Tell us why the company is different. Have been fool once and not about to be fooled again. Wish you best of luck in your marketing!!!

Great article!! I am also one of diasporans who built a huge duplex (5 bedrooms) and 2- 3 bedroom together. In view of the fact that am not returning to Nigeria anytime soon. I have given instructions to covert the downstairs of the duplex to a 2- 2 bedroom flats which will net a combined yearly income of #500,000. The other 3 bedroom flats will provide an estimated income of #700,000 yearly. I am in agreement that building duplexes by diasporans who are not returning home soon may not be getting great value for their money. By the way, I still have a 3 bedroom left which I will retain for myself when I return home. I will keep that for now until I am able to develop half a plot left. The Half a plot will be designed in such a way that could easily be converted to rental properties. Thanks for this great topic.

Any new info about these rougues called wisdom property.
Would we continue to be silent or should we fight for what
belongs to us? I cry for my country. No other place in the
world would the citizens allow a so called attorney collect
money for business transaction for years without delivering.
I think we should start by doing the basic elementary thing- by
reporting the matter as fraud; therefore, reporting it to the police.
Also,could we filed a petition with EFCC as suggested by another
subscriber. This company has raped our collective intergrity.
The owner should not be allowed to walk the street of Nigeria.

Could someone in the house please provide an estimate of what an average fitted kitchen would cost. Also I was given a quotation of #288,000 for installing 6 wardrobes using mahogany wood. My questions are these: is this price reasonable? Anyone has a picture of a fitted kitchen and wardrobes to share with estimates? Does anyone knows a company around Lagos that can do the job at reasonable prices? Please I urgently need these information. Thank you so much for this expose! I thought as much that people that
bought into this land deal were been scammed or taking for a ride. How on earth
can u pay for a land four years ago and still no allocation! This so call "barrister" of
a CEO should be ashamed of himself. He ought to be disbarred. How can an attorney or
barrister buy land from a baale and without proper verification from Ogun state govt start
selling the land to unsuspecting public. Now they are giving story about the land belonging
to ogun state govt and they need to pay alot of money before the land can be released to
them. Shame on you barrister. Nigerians must stand up for their rights and not allow the the
so call elite take us for granted. In what other nation will you pay for a product or services and have to
to wait for over 4 years to get what you paid for. I agree this people must be sued and must pay penalties to their subscribers
for committing a fraudulent act or trying to defraud ordinary Nigerians of their hard earned money.
If the subscribers have 1.2million naira,do you think they will be buying land in Mowe? Please stand up and
