datopaper:My point exactly. How come you recover 23 phones without suspects? Which country is that done? Something doesn’t look right, either poor policing with poor intelligence, or the officers have been compromised to let the suspects go. The officers needs to explain to us how this happened. |
Personal experience: I bought a plot of land from wisdom property Mowe about 8 years ago and it was a scam. I have nothing to show for it. I later ran to buy from the LAgos state government thinking that the government won’t scam me but I was very wrong. We both 2 plots- one on badagry ijanikin and ikorodu igbogbo- both fully paid for about 8 years ago- again nothing to show for it. I was scammed by the LAgos state government. When I enquired at Alausa, I was told that the Omo-onile had sold many plots to government officials the plots of land the government was banking on for the land scheme. And there was no mechanism in place for me to get my money back or another land. This country is all a scam am sorry to say. |
No news? |
It's been 8 years since I started this post on wisdom property and as it stands no communication from them. It appears the so called Barrister who owns Wisdom property joined or started a new company I guess to defraud the unsuspecting public. |
Any new information on wisdom property? Please anyone with information regarding this developer who has stolen our money should provide it here. We shouldn't let them get away with this. |
Do you blinds and curtains? |
How is it possible that Boko Haram fighters are being captured daily and yet we don't know where the girls are kept. Any sane Army would have extracted any intelligence to smoke out Boko Haram. |
Alu 4 or 5 |
When the mob came for the "alleged bafoo guys" nobody asked for fairness or justice. I watched a video where people are cutting burnt human body with cutlasses as if they cutting "Eran Ikeja". It takes a crazy people to do that. Didn't we learn anything from the "Ali 4? |
What is going on in this country? Are our leaders seeing these? Do we know the psychological impart of burning human alive does to our psyche? How do we ensure the innocent are not affected? These are many more questions are running through my mind.we are keeping quiet because it's not our family or friends. Sooner or later if these madness is not stopped it will get closer to everyone. It takes crazy and demented thought process to burn a fellow human being alive regardless of the crime committed. I am beginning to weep for the future of this country. My people where do we go from here? |
Anything you want to do in this country you are met with frustration. To get ordinary passport you are frustrated, to open bank acct you are frustrated on takes hours. Getting nigeria passport overseas you are frustrated. I can go on and on. Renting your property...after 1st payment, tenants becomes the king. Takes months to years to evict. What a country!!! |
MrMcJay:With Lasg I have letter of allocation, block and block number for igbogbo and letter of allocation for ijanikin but no block and plot number. With Wisdom property have letter of full payment. When I was in the country 2 years met the scheme officer for igbogbo and I was told influential people had built on the land govt wanted to use for the scheme. Do what happened to those of us with allocation letters? Again, shame on all those leaders who are running this country. Shame on Lagos state government who also perpetrated fraud with the citizens. Successive govt in Lagos state land schemes only to enrich themselves. Nothing works in this country.... nothing. |
I have been processing c of o for a property in Lagos through an attorney, eight years later, document not yet out. Again, we live in a bleeped up country where nothing works. Nothing is straight forward. They make sure at every turn they put a system where it enriches civil servants. Go to Magodo, and you will see houses own be Lagos state civil servants. Where did the money come from? |
Buying from the Lagos state government is no better. Bought into the igbogbo scheme aand ijanikin rose garden almost 8 years. I given a block and plot number for the igbogbo scheme but up until now, still no land and no document. This system in this country is all bleeped up. |
Bought from Wisdom property Mowe almost 7 years ago, up till now, no land or document. Most of these real estate companies are fradulent. |
Royruky:How efficient is the Nigeria Bar Association? Do they respond to emails? How long would it take to hear back from them? Has anyone here corresponded with the bar before? Thanks. |

Can someone please advice on how to collect house keys from a tenant who happens to be a lawyer. This house is in Ibadan and this tenant has refused to pay for almost two years now and has also refused to give up the keys despite several promises made by him to vacate. He has boosted that the lawyer who was hired by the landlord is "one of his boys." It appears to me he wants to use the judicial system to delay and waste the landlord's time and money. By the way, he has abandoned the house as he resides in Lagos. please lawyers in the house....help or others who have experienced this to please share how they resolve the issue. |
why not show the land itself and not flyers? |
Kindly break down what the total package entails-such as tenant agreement and caution fees? And who keeps the money agent or landlord? |
Rotech, Do you also do kitchen cabinets and wardrobes? |
Any new job by Sova? |
The immigration officer Erimmy missed the point completely. If someone do not have the correct travel document then they shouldn't travel. To solicit for bribe or take one when offered is damaging the image of the country and making our border porous. I have been traveling out of the country since 1978 and I have seen it all. So, please don't try to justify the shady deals of your peers. Someone must sanitize this important area. I hope we talk about our airport. It's a total disgrace to the nation. The air conditioning not working and if it was working you couldn't tell. The conveyor belt was and is still in a state of disrepair. Something must be done about this. |
My experience: I arrived Nigeria August ending with an American passport that had a visa on it. There was this lone female officer that meet you on arrival. Immediately I showed her my passport, she asked for a yellow fever form. In all my traveling I have never heard of that. I also had a expired Naija passport on me. I told her am not aware of such documents. So she pulled me to the side and attended to foreign visitors. Some gave her money, and others showed what was supposed to be the document. I was determined I was not going to pay a dime or kobo to enter my father"s country and the country of my birth. She then said I should do the right thing so I can go. I said,"mam, am not the first to arrive here without the document, so what is your protocol." She said she would take me to the clinic to get a shot and I will be delayed for 3 hours. Am a practicing medical officer, I was happy that she talking at my comfort zone. I told her, "ok, let go." When she realized I wasn't going to bribe my way in, she eventually let me go. Something must be done with these officers who are not upright. |
I salute the legend. |
I am also interested in seeing your kitchen work. |
Thank you lawyer for this article. I and some friends bought some plots of land in Mowe from Wisdom property for 500,000 each. Its been over 5 years now and nothing has been received. The last I heard they are requesting 1.2M for development fee. They got to be kidding me right!!! I wouldn't spend another kobo on them. The govt land is not too different either. People who subscribed to govt schemes in ikorodu and ijanikin are yet to see their land despite paying the govt fully. We truly need a change!! Everything stinks when its comes to land in Nigeria. The lasg has not fully performed their responsibilities to those citizens who were allocated land since 2010, yet they are coming out with new schemes. What they have done is making those in the land bureau stupendous rich by allocating these lands meant for the citizens to their cronies for resale. |
