Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Am Sending 10,000 Naira To An Anonymous Nigerian Every Week. by Chixco95(m): 3:19pm On Jul 26, 2023
shine12:
I have created this post to start an initiative of offering assistance to individuals who are unknown to me. Every week, I aim to send 10,000 Naira to a Nigerian stranger(I will pick an account number at random if there is more than one), as I understand the challenging situation in Nigeria. This small gesture is my way of giving back to my country, even though I am currently living abroad. I have the means to consistently afford this amount, even when facing unpaid bills, as it is less than Β£10.

Most of my siblings are also living outside Nigeria, and through this initiative, I hope to extend a helping hand to those in need back home. I find fulfillment in anonymous giving, acts that only God recognizes and rewards.

Through this platform, I wish to continue being a blessing, in my own small way, to any Nigerian in need, regardless of tribe, language, or religion. I am not seeking any personal information from anyone, nor do I want this page to be a platform for scams. Only post an account number or send your account number as a DM. Once you receive the alert, come back here to mention the alert received so I am sure you have the funds.

My desire is to offer genuine help and support to fellow Nigerians, spreading a spirit of compassion and unity. Together, we can make a difference and alleviate the burdens faced by those less fortunate in our beloved country.

Let us come together and embrace the joy of giving without expecting anything in return. May we all find ways, no matter how small, to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Crime / Gunmen Kidnapped Former FCE Abeokuta Provost; Dr Adetayo Ajayi by Chixco95(m): 2:39pm On Jul 26, 2023
In a shocking turn of events, a suspected kidnapping has left the community in Ogun State on edge, as law enforcement agencies launch a massive manhunt for the yet-to-be-identified gunmen responsible for the brazen abduction of a man and his driver.

The incident unfolded on the evening of Tuesday, when a distress call was received by the Ogun State Police Command from a terrified passenger.

The caller reported that their bus had encountered a roadblock manned by armed robbers, forcing them to come to a halt out of fear for their lives. The incident took place along an undisclosed road in the state.

Shortly after this initial report, another alarming message was received via a direct communication channel from a staff member at the Federal College of Education.

According to the message, Dr. Ayodele Ajayi, the immediate past provost of the institution, had been kidnapped while traveling from Olodo to Abeokuta.

In response to the crisis, the Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun, immediately deployed operational teams and detectives from the Ogun Police Command to launch an extensive search for the perpetrators and secure the safe release of the victims.

CP Abiodun assured the public that all security agencies were coordinating their efforts in a joint operation to comb the surrounding bush areas. The combined forces of the Police, Amotekun, Vigilantes, and hunters have been mobilized on strict orders to track down the kidnappers and ensure the hostages' safe return.

During the course of the abduction, the kidnappers also targeted the man's wife, who was later abandoned by the assailants during a high-speed pursuit by the police. The woman was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while the armed kidnappers made their escape with the man and his driver.

A few Nigerians have devised new ways of powering their generators which is their alternative source of power.

A video that is making the rounds on social media shows some people are now powering their generators using cooking gas.

This is coming following the removal of fuel subsidy and the increase in petrol pump price.

Someone has been doing this since late 2021 so I'm not surprised to see it. There are some generators that support this. Don't try it with I better pass my neighbour ooo

Politics / Re: I'm Starting To Like Vice President - Elect Shettima! by Chixco95(m): 8:09am On May 24, 2023
Rostikol:
At the recent commissioning of the 20 billion dollar ultra world class Dangote refinery, Vice President Shettima was one of the dignitaries who addressed the gathering which included party big wigs, traditional rulers, Mr President and other West African heads of state.

Shettima said the expected great things about the refinery, and in conclusion said

''Africa is not all about the crisis in Sudan. Africa is not all about poverty. deprivation and destitution. Africa is not all about insecurity. I hope the CNN, the BBC and the Sky News of this world will be around to give maximum coverage to this function.''

A thunderous applause from the audience followed.

It was a defining moment for Shettima and the Tinubu administration.

I like the black consciousness of Shettima.

The last thing we need is leaders that will be kissing Europe and America's ass.

If they try nonsense we ignore them and redouble/consolidate our links with China/Russia/Brazil and other powers.

What has the west ever done except assassinate Africa's best leaders including our Gen Murtala Ramat Muhammed of blessed memory, enslave, colonise and loot the continent?

Thank you for your Pan Africanist outlook VP Shettima.

People like you who respect your African heritage with no colonial mentality regarding whites, usually do very well in government
You are still believing Nigerian Politics??
