See ASUU has their own flaws, but let's look critically what they are fighting for

They say infrastructure and good welfare package for lecturers, more funding and a payment system since the IPPIS failed integrity test.

Let's look at federal government secondary schools, what has become of them. Check out the buildings, there is poor welfare for teachers at that level with the kind of sacrifice those people make, thank God state Government took over and things are getting better.

We only have 49 federal universities and the government can't listen and do the needful, the last time the president spoke on ASUU during sallah he said 'education is not for federal government job again but for education'' that statement was not encouraging.

It is very true the government doesn't care about the educational sector and that's because the elite ones amongst them don't want others to achieve more results than them, and the ones who didn't go to school dont know the importance of education.

It is sad the educational allocation during each budget yearly is about 11 percent,that's very poor.

But this fight should have been fought a long time ago. Plus most ASUU officials have their kids in private universities or they are studying sbroad

ASUU extended their ongoing strike yesterday, accusing the federal government of neglecting the student's welfare.
The Federal government is accusing ASUU of being greedy.
