I didn't even know fandoms existed until I got into KPOP so I had never seen them in action. But after almost 3 years in the KPOP world and seeing this particular thing happen with an uncountable number of groups, soloists, plants, animals, the atmosphere, I have to ask: WHY THE F*CK ARE ARMYs SO INSECURE AND TOXIC? Anybody that has seen me tweet or post here will know that I'm only an EXO-L because that's what EXO calls their fans, I don't vibe with them because las las all fandoms are made up of human beings and human beings are scum
But this is just too bad. Even if they 'like' the artist because the artist tattooed 'BTS paved the way' on his/her forehead, as soon as the artist has any form of musical success that's major, they start tearing the person/group apart like demon possessed barracudas. Jesus. Either the song is trash (but BTS' songs are always revolutionary and saving humanity and defeating Thanos), or the person did sajaegi (which most fandoms do TBH because the ghost streaming they do is not right but okay) or the person is begging people to promote the song. It's just too bad abeg.

What spurred this on was how they lit into Zico (my problematic forever fave....well...depending) on how he's begging people to do the anysong challenge.....LOL. Saying he's not even big sef and is doing sajaegi when it's his boyfriend that started this fresh discussion on chart manipulation. I'm just tired. KPOP is NOT that serious that you live your life constantly insecure on behalf of people who are making millions. Rant over.
