perfectme: Thanks @ santity100 and mjlbabajide I have gone through their masters programmes, they are a bit expensive. I found a diploma in early childhood education and care for 18,000AUD for 1.5 years, and I can write a very strong SOP to support my reasons for wanting to study this course in Australia. But the problem is that you guys adviced me to go for a 2 year course, so is it possible to add some other courses to this or I should just go for a 2 years course straight up. Thanks. you can do an advance diploma of community sector mgt packed with you diploma giving you 2-3 years visa + a very good SOP. |

Titobabe: Please help a sis Quite expensive. 90 dollars a day depending on the childcare centre( the ones registered with Australian govt) some Africans set up daycare centres in their homes and charge 40 dollars. Monday-friday. You don't necessarily have to take your child to the centre everyday maybe 3 times in a week depending on how busy you are. |

SantaClause: Yes you can use your uncle even if you don't bear same name. I used my uncertain and we don't bear same name....you just need to collect letter of sponsor from him and then from his bank stating that he can sponsor you Hi Santaclaus, are you in Australia? |

WestAfrican: Yes your uncle could sponsor you. Ask him to indicate his relationship with you in his letter of sponsorship. Did the immigration inform you about writing an ielts? I know a few people who were asked to write one. If your previous ielts is still current you may be able to present it or if you did an elicos before your tafe it could be used too.
If I were you, I would include all documents upon my application I.e. offer letter, bank statement, medicals, insurance (for the whole duration of your course) then submit 1 to two weeks before my current visa expires and hope not to be asked for ielts.
NB) also submit your tafe transcript if you had completed one. Yes I've done IELTS. And thanks for this info I appreciate. |

Silent2013: I am in Australia, but I have never done an extension. Call DIBP to find out. Sometimes immigration laws change, so the only way to be sure is to talk to them. Silent2013, for an international student whose visa is about to expire, you need to do an extension if your course is still in session. I called DIBP and I was told I need to show proof funds but, my question is; if my relation with a different surname can be my sponsor? thanks |

WestAfrican: Anyone can be you sponsor for AL1 applicants. You need to show your relationship with your sponsor. You need a sponsorship letter stating how this person has supported you in the past or why they are supporting you now. Provide supporting documents of your school fees they have paid in the past. Hi WestAfrican, I am an international student studying in Australia. I am in a TAFE and my visa is expiring soon. I would like to know with the new visa 500 if I can use my maternal uncle with a different surname to lodge a visa extension? I will be 6 months gone in my new course before I am due for extension (started my new course in November 2016 and my visa is expiring in June 2017) my COE and offer letter from my school has until January 2019 to finish my current course. please house I need your input cos time is running out and I don't know what to do. Thanks so much. |

Happy new year good people of naira land. please i want to make an enquiry about my visa extension....i am currently in Australia and i would like to extend my visa as i had to do an additional course. My questions are:
*Do i need a statement when applying since am already enrolled in a course here and would have done like a semester before extension? *Can i use my personal account(which) has the complete amount for living expenses? *Can i also add my maternal uncle's declaration of sponsorship and assets even if i don't submit his bank statement?
My people, the school has already issued me a COE am just waiting to apply. Any one already in Australia that has already done an extension after July please help. Please anyone with information should help a sister out. Happy fruitful 2017 with more grants. |
