Av bn readn comments here way b4 i registered as a member and it baffles me d way pple respond to comments on dis forum. I will not mention names but pls if u knw ur a culprit, REPENT!IT'S A NU YR. Insults, abuse of dis forum, name callings and d like will get us nowhere. It only shows aw ill-bred, uncivilised, immature, ill-enlightened and uneducated(evn thoh we went to school). We all av our opinion, so state urs, agree or disagree, but just pass d msg across. We r all here to learn and NO ONE knws it all, Now to d topic at hand, if dere's one thing av learnt in my short time on earth and as an adult, it's not to pass judgement or condemn, not only is d bible against it but we r not d best of judges(we all av flaws, character and odawise). The young man in question(Farouk) may av done wat he did but he had a reason(thoh not reason enuf). He didn't do well by wanting to end his life, neitha did he do well by ending oda pple(innocent) wv his. But, come to fnk of it, Life is a B***h!but we av to b held responsible 4 all our actions(good or not good). His internet write-ups portrayed a lonely and confused teenager dat nided direction, advice, counsel frm pple(loved 1s or not) but apparently dint get it and he resorted to taking d ugly way out which was induced by wat his oda negative thot pattern and peers influenced him to. Take it or leave it, we all av in some way or d oda done tins dat we neva imagined in our lifetym and we've all made mistakes or taken d wrong decisions at one point in our life or anoda(whetha caught or not caught). Farouk, am sure wishes he accomplished his mission or at least was caught dead and not alive or contrary to public belief,was seeking attention(a sense of belonging). i rily beliv now he's got, not only dat of his father and family members and peers but also of d WORLD AT LARGE.
What more can u say of a lady dat sleeps wv her "MAN OF GOD" in d quest for a child? or d man dat sleeps wv his own daughter to assuage his libido(lustful desires), or a man dat kills his wife or a member of his family or luvd ones for ritual money making and so and so and so.

Ibinabo Fiberesima gets 7 years for manslaughter

Former beauty queen and popular Nigerian actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima, has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment for manslaughter which she pleaded not guilty. She was alleged to have killed a medical doctor in a road accident last year after what investigators describe as “careless” driving under the influence of alcohol.

It was reported that the actress was dragged to court by relatives of the deceased due to her attitude towards the issues.  She was earlier fined by a lower magistrate court to the sum of N100, 000 (about $1,000) which she has almost paid according to the report. The presiding judge at the hearing opposed the fine which he described as unreasonable and decided to imprison her in addition.

Many Nigerians have welcomed the decision in a country which they say “there is no justice for the poor’’. The Nigerian judiciary is said to be “weak’’ and “corrupt.’’

Rily, my thots on dis particular post is dat d NDs"lower class" nid a complete re-orientation of deir thot pattern(no insult intended) cos in dis whole fite, who's bn most affected(d citizens of course) and d ignorant 1s fite d battle, win d trophy and d "elites, govt and reps" of d ND spend d money/benefits accrued or acquired . Av u guys eva thot abt aw dis money is put to use, i saw a pix of a r/abt and it got me wonderin y any govt wld spend so mch on a r/abt wen its citizenry r not gettn d best of education and d likes. Like in lagos whr "Mr Fash" is busy beautifying r/abts and planting trees while d roads remain in deplorable conditions(puttn d cart b4 d horse) . Sum1 talkd abt free education(sensible though),but d questn is; Is it quality education or is it dis "otakara high schools" u av over dere in ur states?evn d youths vehemently refuse to go to school  and get educated despite d bursary allocated to dem , dey'd rada b at home and wait for easy oil money and "handouts" frm d govt dat makes u 4get ur frnds, relatives and luvd 1s dat av bn killed or affected in several ways during ur fite 4 a "tithe %" of d oil money .
