I had an interview last week and the three persons who went in before me (masters students) were given a test, one in particular said a math test and the course he was going for wasn't even science related I guess he called it international management. in fact they spent longer time and came out sweating.
I'd say be prepared for anything.

Personally were u given test? ...the guy must have lied to you that he is going for masters

Honestly, not to sound pessimistic, forget about Winter. Focus on getting your transcripts, TOEFL, certify all you need to certify, take note of the schools you gonna apply to during Summer, their requirements and deadlines. Also, always read up info on this thread from now till Summer. You would be better informed to make right choices as to school selection and all. In other words, just prepare for Summer. Not a bad place to start from.

Hello guys,

I really need your help and it's quite urgent. I planned on processing admission for winter semester in Germany but I haven't been able to because my transcript which I applied for since March was not ready until yesterday . Most of my choice universities deadlines have passed though I had resigned myself to wait till summer.

But I want to ask if there's still a chance for me for winter because some if the schools that offer my course have their deadline on May 31/ June 1 while 2 other universities are June 15.
Another thing is that most of them require TOEFL, though I have registered for it but my exam date is still June 16th. So I wanted to ask if there's a way to notify the schools .

I also want know if the deadline is for the day Uni assist receives the application or the school received the application. Please note that most of the schools and course I'm applying for are free admission (no nc).

I know I can get my documents certified and possibly send on monday through dhl.

But I would like to get replies to my worries stated above, so I don't just waste money and time. Thanks all.

You can still make winter if you are serious!.... there are schools still open some has not even started application till june1...i and do proper sure search in daad. for your toefl ish...forget that. get a letter from ur uni...it will suffice. lastly try jena. Wurzburg FAU, mittweida universities they are open and it's direct applications.

You will be surprised that mostly old people attend Catholic Churches but you can find some new generation evangelical churches with bands .
However, you can attend African churches here and some even host vigils like CAC in Mannheim.

Again, before you move, please learn German as much as you can and stay positive.

Check if your course has restriction cos I know most of the medical courses in jena has NC.


for courses without NC, admission status abt 10 days after receipt of documents by regular post

while for those with NC, admission status is after application deadline...

They told me end of may for Molecular medicine

jst noticed that deadline for med photonics and chem of material have been extended to july 15th.

For all these matter NA me confuse pass.....I applied mol/medicine, mol science, med phonotics and chemical biology .....with Jena.

l am a newbie on this platform however l have been an avid reader since 2013. l got admission at Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg last month and l equally booked for interview appointment dated 19th June 2018. However, from the current analysis, l strongly believe that the aforesaid date(19th June 2018) will be declare public Holiday to mark the end of this Muslims fasting. My question is this: Will German embassy reschedule my appointment or what will be my fate? Any precedent on this subject matter as it relates to public Holiday/Interview date. Lastly, will the embassy honor the date. Please your response is highly needed to allay my repeated worries.
