Hi guys, more grace everyone irrespective of the stage you are in this struggle. I just got my visa delivered today. It took approximately 1week after sending my international passport and health insurance to the embassy (Lagos) thanks all for your inputs ..make God bless you all real good ...danke!!!

Well, problem with Duncan Mighty is his lack of collaboration. His first album though, he did with Nigga Raw. He has also done something with Olamide. But, this is his biggest collaboration. He should do more of this. He has always believed in holding down the South. He has refused to move West. Now, I'm sure he will acknowledge that, u can only be big (Nationwide) when u go west.

Which kind west, apart from Lagos which western state can blow up an artiste? It just that Lagos is fortunate to be d center of happenings due to the activities it holds...however Lagos is no mans land, which by chance in west.

Hello guys, I did my interview today, this nairaland forum has been of great help to a lot of us, I want to appreciate everyone. So my transcript...

I got to the embassy at 5:30am, I was the second person on the queue. Since I stay very far from VI I had to lodge. God bless the person that informed us of the lodge at Bonny Camp, that place is preferable for me cos I left my lodge at 5:15 and in 15 minutes time I was at the embassy on foot trekking. The name of the lodge I stayed is 'Sappers Lodge', I used the 7k. Please I will advise that in order to secure the room, try and book early cos they have very few of those rooms and they are always booked out.

So back to the event of the day, because of what I learnt here I ignored all those people at d park trying to get money for one thing or the other, I just went in with my envelope of documents.

Oga Paulinus arrived at 6am, carried out his usual arrangement by this time we were up 20 on the queue. At 7am He called people for students visa to come in and announced to us how to arrange or documents according how he calls it. Please I will advice that with a paper clip you should attach your original to your 2 photocopies so that it will be easier to arrange. While I was there, Oga Paulinus sent 2 guys to the back because they were slow in arranging their documents, just be calm and follow his instructions, ignore his shouting and be focused because if u r allow it get to you, you will be destabilized.

At 7:15, those of us that our documents were arranged were called in for interview, I was praying not to get the lady everyone complains about even though I had prepared. So I entered the and lo and behold it was the dark guy, I first of smiled:

V.O.: Can I have your documents please?

V.O.: What course and you going for and where is it located? Which state?

V.O.: When did you finish school and what have you been doing since you left school?

V.O.: Can I have your Visa fee of N27000

V.O.: Private or Public School?

V.O.: Have you funded your Blocked Account? With how.much

V.O: How much is your tuition?

V.O.: Have you paid any amount to the school?

V.O.: Who is your sponsor?

V.O.: Why this course?

V.O.: Why Germany and not US, UK or any other English speaking country?

V.O.: What's your plan after your study?

V.O.: Tell.me key facts about Germany and please be specific

V.O.: Your bachelor's thesis?

V.O.: That will be all, we will communicate to you via mail, he gave me back my passport and the receipt of payment

In my mind I was so that's it, I just thank my God as I was walking out of the Embassy, even the guys at the security we're surprised that it was fast, the guy we entered together was still being fired questions by the lady... I left the embassy at 7:45, feeling so relieved.
I give God all the glory. Once again guys, thank you very much for your help and support.

In compliance to our norm, here is my transcript:
Went for interview today, got there around 6, was on the queue till 7 or so. Got ushered into the embassy and was at the reception till 8.10am. Finally was interview and it didn't last more than 15 mins.
Here are some questions I was asked:
-Type of visa
- intended School
- reasons for choosing the course
-BA or SL
-Who is sponsoring
-when I'm blocking
- first degree and institution
- title of thesis
-nysc status: location and ppa
-facts about Germany
-why Germany not uk, us and others
-plan after study

*bits of advice:
- address ur motivation letter to the embassy
- make sure u get everything u need before going to the embassy(got 3 blank A4 sheets for N500)
-be calm and prepare well
-Paulinus is real- be bold regardless of what he says or does

*for those waiting for interview dates... Dem go drop soon

Thank God for a successful interview ...I wouldn't knw if u read my post of yesterday or so about getting photocopies and printing done in bonny camp for very cheap amount due to it being a military base...distance is less than 10mins (going and coming) even if u decide to cat walk like a typical Lagos gal or walk like a pregnant woman. Meanwhile this is for those who are yet to attend interview... NB: prospective applicants endeavour to read up previous threads. #be pre informed!!! Danke!!!

Good morning fellas...just felt like sharing this....if you happen to be in Lagos and you find yourself around embassy for any reason and u need to print or photocopy docs, go to bonny camp, and get ur work done as cheap as 50 for printing and 10 for photocopy. I printed two pages for #100 (coloured) the last time I went there. Don't allow this guys at embassy gate eat ur #1000/1500. Those guys nor get conscience. Danke!

Girl I am from Delta State and you can't know my state more than me. Look up the history of Pidgin and you'll see that it originated as a result of different ethnic groups not being able to understand each other hence needing a unifying language.

Delta State is one of the most ethnically diverse states in Nigeria with at least 6 different languages. Do you then expect these people to speak their languages to one another when they obviously wouldn't understand each other?

Most times it tallkes me like 8 hours from mile 2 to okoko, which on the normal ground should not be more than 25 minutes. Well, good job from Ambode . but from okoko to badagry is another hell with extremely bad road as well.

I used zenith bank. It took about ten days. That was because the banker delayed in sending my application to their head office in lag until I disturbed them on the 7th day. I advise you use head office, and give a follow up call or visit if u don't get any deductions as from five working days of applying...

Please I will advice we should all ignore that dummy "dammy".....he is hereby ignored "henceforth" reply him at ur own peril.....with time we will get him reported and bound from the thread. So many people are mad, but few are on the streets. This I realised during my undergraduate project work(neuroscience)...and please let's not be discouraged to share our experiences. Go to bonny camp....2-3 poles from the embassy ..more like military barracks. U can get as low as 4per night

For those who want to use form A to fund their account, this is my experience on how I did mine.

First, I went to first Bank head office in marina by 10am on the 21/06/18 with all my the required documents:
Fintiba make the transfer
Admission letter
Official living cost breakdown from my school
Bsc certificate copy
Passport data page copy
After much talk, the lady insist that i cannot use the form A as I am not sending it to the schools account. I saw this coming base on other people’s previous post, so I quickly transfer my fund to my Stanbic account as I don’t have time to waste.

After, I went to Stanbic IBTC head office close to the embassy by 12:30pm. Though they said form A is possible but the rate the banker gave me was way higher than the black market rate as of that day 429.50 euro meanwhile black market was 420 euro and charges of about #34k naira .I wasn’t convinced, so I transfer my fund again to my Zenith bank account.

Then, I arrived Zenith head office in V.I by 2pm same day. After enquiry, they said it possible that a student going to Germany even did it last week so I became relax finally after the whole stress and disappointment. I filled the form with my account fully funded. I was charged a total of #10,250 Naira and the rate they used was 421.13 euro x 8829 and I got my Fintiba Confirmation exactly 5 working days from the day of transaction 27/06/18.


P.S.
When I went to Zenith head office in Ajose Adeogun v.i, they directed me to their Trade Services Department in
Zion/ Zenion building plot 2
3 floor in the same street about 6 buildings away from their head office.
I hope this helps as I did my best to break everything down. Also,this is a way of me giving back as I have benefited a lot from reading part 3 up to the current page.

I don't understand this zenith o...I did mine with their branch office in ikeja. On Monday I was charged #250 and #5000 respectively. But since then I haven't gotten any alert or confirmation. Please is that how u were charged too??
