A former Minister of Education and presidential candidate of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as incompetent, saying
that is why he rewards incompetency by keeping his incompetent appointees in office.

The Lagos Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, has given commercial motorcyclists in the state three days to register with any of the two relevant associations or risk arrest.
Edgal gave the directive on Saturday during an emergency meeting with the leadership of the commercial motorcycle operators as part of measures to ensure that they are well coordinated to promote security.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday said 569,395 of the 1.7 million candidates that wrote this year’s UTME scored over 200 marks.

The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, yesterday assured Nigerians that the industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) may end in two days.
In an exclusive interview with The Guardian yesterday in Abuja, the minister noted that the administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari has a policy of engaging unions, including ASUU.

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state yesterday said that his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, would make sure that Anambra state will be taken over by APC in the next gubernatorial election in the state.

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 33-year-old man, Segun Ogunlusi, for allegedly killing his 60-year-old mother, Abimbola Ogunlusi, and later burying her in a soakaway.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, on Oketunde Street, Molatori, Ogijo, in the Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect was said to have been arrested following a report from his younger sister, Yetunde Ogunlusi.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said Yetunde had reported to the police that she left their mother at home when she was going to work on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.
The spokesman for the police added that when the complainant got back home at about 7.15pm, she could not find her mother.

Luis Suarez has agreed a new contract with Barcelona, keeping him at the Camp Nou until June 2021, the Spanish champions announced on Thursday.

One of the ponzi schemes in Nigeria, Ultimate Cycler has crashed, sending panic waves across many of its Nigerian members who have invested their money in it as well as those who have equally invested in others such as MMM.
The ponzi website, Ultimate Cycler went down early Thursday morning, specifically around 10:30am(Nigerian time), shutting out every member who owns an account with it. When accessed, the site initially displayed an error line of code, before displaying ”Error 500” in bold letters, then it proceeded to display another message: “Be right back. We are currently updating the site to give you a more pleasurable experience and will be back online shortly. Our update estimation is to be complete over the next 6 – 12 hours.

Ultimate Cycler is a new ponzi scheme that followed MMM. This new money doubling scheme claims a promise of better returns on invested money than MMM.
