Beloved4: To be honest I'm have been a Rohr supporter but not anymore after these two past games.
It is clear that this 3-5-2 thing is not working for us. We don't have enough creative personel in the middle to pull strings and Simon and Collins offer nothing to the attack. Hence we are just basically defending and grinding out victories.
It is hurting our game real bad and hurting the psyche of our boys. They seem to play less confidently now.
For crying out loud we have Osimhen! Ejuke (Player of the month - twice in a row), Chukwueze etc.
Bunch of creativity on our wings sitting on the bench. We need to get back to 4-3-3 asap. At least with 4-3-3 we were playing well and scoring well.
This 3-5-2 affair started when some players were out and Iheanacho was playing very well so we had to accommodate him. Honestly Nacho need to find his bearing for the modern game. Rohr had to change formation to suit him. Same thing with Rogers at Leicester.
Not every coach will continue to be patient and twitch formation just to accommodate him. He needs to find a better identity other than a supporting striker. Maybe develop as an attacking midfielder or wing forward etc.
He is part of the reason we resorted to this 3-5-2 thing.
We will continue to have this poor results until Rohr gets back to 4-3-3 and uses our most potent weapon which is creativity from the wings. I gave up on the man(Rohr) after our tune up game against Czech Republic |

charlesemeka85: The Premier League strugglers recently became the biggest money-bags in club football, and they have set sights on raiding Almeria for their prolific striker
Newcastle United have reportedly joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Almeria’s star forward Umar Sadiq.
According to a report from Fichajes, Newcastle will look to bolster their struggling attack with the signing of the Nigerian forward, who is valued at around €25 million.
The Geordies have managed just 12 goals in 11 English Premier League games this term and deservedly sit second from bottom on the table.
But the recent acquisition by oil-rich owners have seen Newcastle bring in new manager Eddie Howe, with the club expected to make a few quality signings during the January transfer window.
Sadiq is one of those that have emerged as an ideal option for Newcastle.
After spells at AS Roma, Torino, Bologna, and Rangers, the Kaduna-born forward’s breakthrough arrived at Partizan Belgrade, where he impressively scored 23 goals in 52 appearances.
Sadiq’s time at Almeria, a team he joined for just €5 million last year, has been even more remarkable, with the former Nigerian youth international notching 29 goals and adding 13 assists in 58 competitive games.
Almeria may not be willing to let go of Sadiq at the season’s midway point, with the Spanish side currently sitting top of the Segunda Division aided by 24-year-old’s seven goals in 15 games.
It would, however, be hard to resist the interest of Newcastle, who would find no trouble coughing out the €25 million Almeria want for the Nigerian, who had previously been linked to English rivals Tottenham.
Bayern Munich and Manchester City also once held interests in the striker who won a bronze medal for Nigeria at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Honestly, I have been having this phantasy and predicting this move in my mind since those Arabs bought over New Castle rights. I have been thinking about possible qaulity strikers they can go for this January to help keep them up and I keep landing at Sadiq Umar |

mostob: Yann sommer was one of the top performer for Switzerland during Euro. . Two days ago, he denied Italy an automatic qualification by saving Jorginho's last minute penalty.
Arsenal's defence couldn't contain leceister's forwards but Ramsdale was there to save them.
Can we count on Okoye to save the team at crucial times?
If na Ezenwa dey perform like Okoye, some people would be insulting him by now. As jittery as Akpeyi is, I'm more comfortable with him than this Okoye. No lie detected |

forgiveness: Hmmm! You don’t even know Awaziem more than me.
I was the one that first clamored for his invitation here when he broke into Porto’s first team.
Then, he played as a DMF before he was moved to defence.
Aina is a better RB or LB than him. That’s a fact. I don't want Awaziem playing out wide in the RB position. I want him paired in the CB with Akpoguma to see how they do. Awziem is quality in a two man CB. I saw 90% of his matches while at Leganes, he was heads and shoulders above his CB partner - Omeruo. |

We are winning the AFCON! In the last edition with 2 of our star players injured, we still got to the semi-final!
Player for a player, no team in Africa is better than us when all our players are available!
I watched the whole qualifiers, only Algeria's attack scares me a bit! Bennacer, Brehama, Islamini, Ounas, and Mahrez! Real quality! Others are average! Delusion |
