I really want to know what it takes to bag an agent like Jorge Mendes.
Can't a player just contact him and tell him he wants to be his client?
What Napoli and Atalanta did to Osimhen and Lookman makes me angry whenever I think about it.
I doubt they would have suffered such fate if they were under Jorge Mendes' management. |

A people who know their worth. Not the dumb fellows governing Nigerian football. The NFF led by Gusau would have layed down on the floor for the Moroccans to walk on him, just as he did in the semi finals. As a Nigerian Muslim why would you dare oppose a supposed Arab muslim by the way? They are superior to you so you should always do their bidding as a lower Islamic brother.
This same inconsequential fellow was there when SA played all their home/away matches in SA and he never protested, SA took us to a pitch that should never have been approved by CAF and he never protested. A witless dumb fellow without balls.
Just look at what Senegal FA did and put Moroccans in their place eventhough both nations are Islamic nations. We just dey here they answer giant for mouth.
This ending part that I translated to English sums up how dumb and weak the NFF is. Senegal said they can't accept such conditions that we stewwpeeedly accepted from Morocco and CAF because they aren't weaklings like us.

Mujtahida: Even though you quoted the wrong post. I know your response is to my post on Okoye.
He made such a demand. Oma Akatugba mentioned it. Here it is reported in the news that indeed he made such a demand
https://www.thisdaylive.com/2025/12/21/oliseh-defends-maduka-okoyes-absence-from-eagles-in-morocco/ What was his reason for opting out, and was his reason justifiable, those are the necessary questions. Okoye; Coachee thanks for naming me in the AFCON list, eventhough I have been inactive for long. Coachee; No reason am my boy, we dey together. Okoye; But coachee no vex oo; based on how my situation take dey now as person wey dun dey inactive for long, I hope say you go give me enough game time to bounce back to form? Coachee; Hmmm I can't guarantee you that my boy because your senior bro remains the undisputed number 1 Okoye; Thanks for your sincerity Coachee, but please reason with me; e go really affect my form and the team too at the long run if I remain out of form for being away from action for too long(ban/inactive through the AFCON period). I think I will be more useful to the team when in form than when out of form. Coachee: How you mean my boy Okoye: Wetin I mean be say; e no go better make I use my club side gain form since my senior bro go cover the AFCON post, so that tomorrow, our team go parade two inform goalkeepers? That will also create an opportunity for Uzoho or any other option to re-anchor and make our team even more stronger after the AFCON. How you see am Coachee? Coachee: E go hard oo, but you make sense, oya go your club go get your form back since I already have enough cover, but mind you, I go hijack you come Morocco if the injury to your senior brother relapses. Okoye: Thanks for your understanding boss, I will be expecting your call during the course of the AFCON if my services are needed as you said. It is all for the good of our team at the long run. Na the summary be this. E no touch anywhere. Our best 3 are Nwabali, Okoye and Uzoho for now. |

semid4lyfe: Ore, I am responsible for what I post not your comprehension or lack of comprehension.
I still stand by my previous assessment that Maduka is not a dependable keeper, amd we won't win any championship with him as our starting goalie. However, I have always reckoned that he's good enough to deputize Nwabali and be part of the squad.
.........And pls stop making it seem as if Maduka was excused from the team. Tell the full story. MADUKA OKOYE was DROPPED because he attempted to blackmail the coach and sabotage the team by demanding to be made #1 for the AFCON and the coach refused, saying everyone must compete and earn their starting shirts, and dully dropped him from the squad
I rated Maduka a little before but with that silly stunt he pulled, I do not rate him anymore. Football is a team sport and anyone who places personal ambition above the team's is a saboteur. I want the best players for my team, and I don't see anyone better than Okoye in that position, though for now Nwabali slightly edges him as a starter. Our best for now are Nwabali, Okoye and Uzoho. |

Mujtahida: Precisely. It would have been unreasonable for Congo to not field those players when no decision has been made holding them liable. He never made such demand. He only asked for a guaranteed playing time, and he was right to have asked for that considering his situation. |

semid4lyfe: Never said he wasn't good but any objective abd unbiased supporter of the Super Eagles will tell you the difference between the two is like 7up.
More importantly, Nwabali is dependable and has stood to be counted when it mattered most unlike Maduka who is lilly-livered and abandoned the team for years under the guise of "mental health".
.......and YES, i will be fine as long as he stays far away from the Super Eagles. I wish him well in his club career though
No to blackmailers. No to saboteurs. semid4lyfe: Simon Mignolet was the undisputed no 1 in Liverpool for a long time and had lots of good performances , occasionally making gaffes and letting in cheap goals.
Eventually, the club concluded he just wasn't good enough, and realised they were not going to win titles with him so they got Alisson Becker.
Thereafter, Liverpool won the Champions League and the Premier League titles. No be coincidence.
Like Mignolet, like Okoye. We are not going far or winning any competition with Okoye in goal.
If you think he's the reincarnation of Buffon, that's fine. I think he's jittery, has poor judgement, error prone and not a dependable goalkeeper.
We can agree to disagree.
At the end, we all want the best for the Super Eagles and I'll be happy to be proven wrong. Dude hit your chest and say you don't rate Okoye, no one will beat you up. Stop pretending as if your anger is because he was excused from the AFCON. This was you in 2024 saying we can't go no where with Okoye, so why complaining today and calling him a sabo and a blackmailer? Okoye will be back, and you will be fine. |

charlesemeka85: I don comot mind for Nwaneri, it will only happen if he personally decide to switch to us. He is a big prospect the English FA won’t let slip off their fingers easily
Iroegbunam to lazio will be good for the lad which will brighten the chances of playing for us but at the same time he is seeing enough playing time at Everton. Not sure if Everton will want to sell
Heard the NFF are already in talks with Ugochukwu and Chukwuemeka but have no idea of the progress made so far. Another I would want the NFF and Chelle to reach out to is Femi Azeez, That guy is a certified baller I learnt my lesson pretty early. As long as that player is doing well and enjoying the hypes when young we will never be an option unless he already had it in him that it is Nigeria or nothing. I will never waste my time expecting to have a player like Saka, Oliseh, Ngumoha, Nwaneri, Chukwuemeka of Chelsea, Adeyemi, Madueke et al, but once they move away from England, there is that little glimmer of hope because out of sight is usually out of mind for those English media who tend to view players moving away from England as failed players unless they are joining teams like Bayern, Barcelona, Madrid, PSG or Dortmund. Chukwuemeka isn't quite lighting it up at Dortmund, so I hope he looks our way. As for Ugochukwu, I wonder whether Apam never talks to him. Azeez and Njinmah should be given a chance though. |

Kog45: My question, does Paul Onuachu guarantee goals I have no confidence in either of the two leading the lines, same as Tolu, but Onuachu trumps both as a sub-striker(playing behind the main striker) because he has a better footwork and his linkup play is good. That said, my choice is a fit Terem Moffi. Osimhen Akor Moffi ✅ |

Kog45: Yes a goal in months,8 matches and a goal with very poor minutes of play if summed up is not up to 3 full matches,Awoniyi hasn't had 90 minutes game this season, most of his games this season are subbed in 10 or less minutes to go,and funny you did not even showed compassion to his injuries woes, especially the last one...fans are just happy for him
Oga Chris, nothing serious, people are just happy for him due to his life threatening injury.....yes only injury made him not to be relied on cuz if Paul Onuachu with eagles stats of 30 matches with 4 goals and even older can still be considered then why written off a player with eagles stats of 10 matches and 2 goals with even limited minutes. You are right but trying to guilt-trip me wasn't necessary. I want to build a team similar to what Senegal parades. I want a team where my bench has same or almost same quality as my starting eleven. It hurts when our standard of play drops after a substitution is made. Painful to say, but Awoniyi doesn't guarantee goals. He is a good guy and a hard worker nonetheless. |

I didn't know how to feel about Nwaneri's mesmerising display in his debut for OM because I don't want him to do well so that England would overlook him for us to pounce, also I can't wish him failure.
Here is another deal that I want to happen. If this deal happens, we are getting Iroegbu.
I feel more confident approaching these boys when they go abroad than when they are in England.

ChrisKels: The Senegalese squad is so good that their bench is as strong as their starting eleven. There is never a drop in class whenever substitutions are made.
They lost Koulibali, Diarra and Diatta yet no one noticed.
Imagine losing Bassey, Iwobi and Lookman.
We need to improve our team, seriously. Yesterday on Naija Made, someone repeated the same thing I pointed out here. We really need to do better. Me, whenever I see the likes of Simon getting ready to come on, I just call it a day. |

I followed his progress since then and now, within 3yrs, this same lad has proven me right and risen so far to become a Serie A regular and a Super Eagles invitee.
And you want me to shut up about it? You will have to leave the thread so as not to see me keeping talking about his progress and all others I follow. Dude you just dey fight yourself for no reason.
