Olise never wanted the super eagles. His choices were France and Algeria. The NFF went all out for him and he said no. If Algeria had put in the type of effort the NFF put in, Algeria would have bagged him. Dude was even celebrating Algeria's win over Nigeria in 2019. If Chelle succeeds in getting Gibson Yah and or Emeka Iroegbu, Onyedika will be gone.

He is not imposing and can't dictate the pace of the game. Always looking confused and looking for the easy way out by passing backwards and sideways. Not a top marker either.

Ogbu though decent is a rope of sand because he is injury prone. Even without the injuries, he can't bench Benji. To me, Benji is the most talented CB we have in the team at the moment. Even his team mates are going gaga over his displays.

I will keep Ogbu around as a backup but he will have to battle it out with Fernandez and Nwaiwu as Ajayi's time is almost up.

No one is benching Benji in that team. Not even Bassey can bench Benji.

Iran should try next time for their first win against Nigeria.
