Iheanacho could be match rusty... After the AFCON, he barely played for Leicester

You are right but considering other factors, I decided Iheanacho would be a better fit.

In the midfield, if not for the importance of this match, I would sit Iwobi for Dele-Bashir

In a 433 formation, this front 3 wouldn't be bad though I would rather Iheanacho in the place of Moffi.

Which means SA won't be coming unless they are already in Nigeria

Can you listen to yourself? If SA plane isn't allowed entrance to Nigeria, doesn't that equate to automatic 3points to SA?

Even if SA later enters, with 8 key players yet to join the team, how do you expect the team to perform well without a proper training with the team's complete squad?
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by ChrisKels: 1:25pm On Jun 03
All flights cancelled and some of the players haven't even arrived. Like I said from the beginning, it does not look like we are making it to the world cup. SA stands a better chance.

We are going to have a clash against SA, Olisah Ndah is being hailed in the SA league as the best CB in the league, the SA team is made up of players from the SA league, but we instead chose Tanimu from one of the worst teams in Tanzania. Make it make sense.

Chelsea has really fallen off. They moved from the John Terry, Cavalhos, Alex, Rudigers of this world to now this within such a short period?

A confirmed mid table team.

EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea advancing in talks and closing in on deal to sign Tosin Adarabioyo as free agent from Fulham, almost there!

Newcastle have been working on Tosin deal for weeks but Chelsea are favorites, still cautious until it’s sealed.

Tosin could be first signing for Enzo Maresca

So sad how Chelsea has fallen off. No more ambitious transfer deals. These days it is from one midtable level player to another, yet they are still dreaming of playing in the Champions league again?

Suleiman Sani of Akwa united called up to replace Chukwueze as per owngoal

This Finidi guy is unserious. Frank Onyeka will still withdraw. It never made any sense naming Chuks in that list at all. We have Philip Otele doing well but you decided to name an injured Chuks instead.

This Finidi guy looks too rigid and unserious to me. I thought the rubbish he did by failing to use his subs in the friendlies was a one off, but this his list is revealing a lot. Suddenly, he has discovered that a natural left back was missing in his list. He knew Osimhen and Chekwueze were not fit, he still called them up. Osimhen just withdrew and Chukwueze will soon withdraw.

Tella OUT, Olawoyin IN according to Owngoal.

Chukwueze and Frank not fit too.

I'm of the opinion that our number 10 shirt be given to Ademola Lookman.

In terms of performance, dude looks like he is finally being that replacement for Victor Moses that we have always wanted him to be. Though VicMo never wore the number 10 shirt, but it will look good on Lookman since Iwobi does not seem interested in it. It is an eyesore seeing our most revered jersey number on Aribo with his pedigree and constant below par performance.

There was this Nigerian player I loved to pieces. Obodo!!! I was heartbroken with what injuries did to his career. Dude and Muntari in the midfield of Udinese as young ballers was so sweet.

Hatayspor coach confirms Fisayo Dele-Bahiru is unlikely to stay at the club next season. πŸ”š

β€œFisayo [Dele-Bashiru] is a special player. There are many offers for him, including that of Lazio Rome.” ✨

Sharp!!! U get any video compilations of him?

It hurts that injuries have really messed up the career of his elder bro who is even more talented.
