there is particular saying "the devil we know today is better than the angel we don't even know at all" ighalo followed us to four major tournament WCQ,WC,AFCONQ and lastly AFCON he did well in the last two he was the highest goalscorer in the two tournament yea he was woeful in the WC but if we don't watch football base on bias view you will notice he got into some right position which nacho couldn't even get to though he missed the two chance against Argentina but remembered he was robbed of a penalty actually so I won't actually say he was woeful rather I say he was average... despite these odds he came "twice as tall" in the AFCONQ and AFCON so it not actually a big deal as a reserve player we might lose any players to injury or travel ban..ighalo could come cos he is an integral member of the team... and rohr putting in the 50 man list doesn't mean he will invited but a pointer he is still a part of his plans. i don't see a big deal in that actually.
Bros currently, Ighalo is crap and does not deserve a place in eagles set up.

Also, stop saying he was denied a PK, because he was never fouled for a PK neither was he the designated PK taker of the team, instead, Rojo's handling of the ball in the 18yard box presented Ighalo with a begging chance and he didn't disappoint by fluffing his lines as he was/is always accustomed with

You see why I call you a Mumu? Ighalo first season at Grenada, he qualified them from segunda to LA liga and became a legend let Sadiq qualify Almeria to la liga before we have that discussion. Like what sort of analyst are here comparing a small boy like Sadiq to Ighalo. Omo let me bite my tongue before some small boy get me offended
Ighalo qualified Granada to Laliga with 4 goals? Lol this guy is funny grin grin

Then allow Sadiq also have his first season in Laliga also, hopefully that will be actualize next season, then we will be able to compare Ighalo EPL first season and Sadiq Laliga first season.
For now, the only way to rate them is Ighalo stats when he played in Laliga 2 for Grenada and Sadiq stats playing in same Laliga 2 for Almeria.
Again, I will stand by my words that Ighalo 15 goals in the EPL was a fluke and a one season wonder, else how come he scored just 1 goal the next season?
Also in all Ighalo professional career playing in the top leagues, he has been abysmal, except for that singular season that he scored 15 leagues goals.

let's hope he is doing the right thing....ighalo is a leader and a proven striker in the green white green...it not actually a big deal including him in the 50 man list he can bring experience to the team and also note the fact we are only taking 3 strikers for any major competition.
Which experience Ighalo wan bring come? Is Ighalo more experienced than Acho? I wonder what our strikers need to learn from Ighalo whose prodigality in front of goal is well documented

Forgiveness this indeed is for you. Ighalo best is the worst compared to our today's strikers painting Europe with goals. And Moffi isn't even mentioned yet oh.
I excluded Moffi on purpose just to respect Ikpeba. Moffi has already equalled Ikpeba's best in a single ligue1 season, and he is on course to supplant Ikpeba as Nigeria's best ever in a single ligue1 season

forgiveness:
Did you say at Ighalo’s best he is not better than the aforementioned players?

Ask yourself again after answering the question, is a second Division player better than an Epl player?

Have the aforementioned players scored 15 goals in arguably the best league in the world(epl ofcourse)?
Only in your world was Ighalo's best days as good as, or even better than Simmy's. Simmy is the best Nigeria has ever had in a single season in any of the Europe's top five leagues since the Nigerian national team was formed. The other day you said that Ikpeba scored 26 in a single ligue1 season which was a total lie because Ikpeba's best for Monaco in the ligue1 was 14 goals scored in the 97/98 season.

Now back to Simmy and Ighalo;- Ighalo's best season for Granada was in the 11/12 laliga season where he scored 6goals in 29 matches and a total of 13 goals in 3Laliga seasons, compare that to Simmy's crazy stat this season alone. While playing in the segunda division, he could only score 4 goals in over 20 matches, compare that to Sadiq's crazy stats this season in the same league grin

In the championship, his best was 20 goals, same as Simmy's in the Serie B. In the EPL, his best was 16 while Simmy is already on 19 and counting this season alone, in the serie A. In fact, Ighalo could on score a total of 17goals in four seasons in the EPL, while Simmy already has 19 in a single serie A season. Do you want to know Simmy's total so far in the serie A? So tell me, how Ighalo is as good as Simmy. grin

Have I not been vindicated? So finally, you all now see Rohr and Ighalo for who they truly are?

I laugh in Kswahili, because if nothing is done now to remove this leech that calls himself our head coach, Ivory Coast's failed golden generation will even be better than us.

Iheanacho has scored 14 goals in his last 14 matches for Leicester. Could this be in honour of his jersey number, or it is a mere coincidence? wink

You wouldn't say this if you had seen him play. That is his level for now considering his age. If he maintains his form and keeps growing, he would be in the EPL in his early 20s, or at worst in a top championship team

I love that dude alot....he bagged an early move to rennes guess he was just 16 then though he is not a finish product but he will definitely learn alot from Ndidi going forward...also we have a new goalkeeper on our watch he plays for Charlton athletic very talented lad.
You mean Nathan Harvey of Charlton U23? Na real small boy and he still has a long way to, but we will do well to give him a chance with the golden eaglets or flying eagles because he is quality.

For now, the super eagles do not have goalkeeping issues though I have my eyes on Arthur Okonkwo of Arsenal and Adeyemi of Tottenham for the future

Camavinga won't be renewing his contract according to latest reports. This means as things stand currently, Cama will be on his way out in the summer. This would make room for Lesley hence the coach gradually, already easing him into the side.

He is a lad I also see as a quality cover for Ndidi with ability to feature as CM also. I consider him on the overall, a CDM. His ceiling is high. At 17 yrs, he already stands as an impressive height too. Time will tell.
Things are gonna he so interesting after summer. Levels go change really good for Naija players

17 yrs old Lesley Ugochukwu made his Ligue 1 senior debut for Stade Rennais yesterday in his side's 5-1 win over Dijon. He came in on 89mins.

A young CDM to watch.
Keenly following this boy and hoping that Camavinga leaves this summer to create enough space for him to display his wares. Dude would be an asset if he comes good because he is a utility player who could play as a cover for Ndidi or as a CM

Osimhen and Moffi can play from the flank
They are not needed there when we already have good wingers, we can only think through that lane if our with wingers were not good enough. You can't bench Chuks and or Lookman just to accommodate an extra striker. Playing just two strikers is enough, as we have been doing lately

I disagree bro...azubuike is calm on d ball..hardly play misplaced passes like etebo, awever his marking is a suspect..but when it comes to ball distribution nobody come close to him,not even ndidi when it comes to DM...

Y du u think we lost against Germany in Olympics. ...it was due to his absence..dt midfield couldn't hold his own against Germany.. Mikel had no supporter in d middle dt day..his absense was greatly felt cool
That was Azubuike Okechukwu. I have always been his fan. Yes he was clearly the reason our midfield couldn't hold its own against Germany, but dude has refused to build on that Olympic exploits. We can't keep harping on that because even Etebo was class in that tourney, same thing as Imoh Ezekiel, Shehu and Ekong. But, while Etebo and Ekong have somehow improved, same can't be said of Azubuike, Shehu and Imoh

Yeah. I'd already known. Its just strange saying that your strike force is better than the best team in the world according to FIFA
Belgium does not have through and through strikers like Nigeria, they just happened to be blessed with prolific forwards. Pound for pound, we have better strikers than them, at present

He needs the move, our midfield needs Nwakali, Olise, Eze, and maybe Tijani or Onyeka to back up Ndidi.

True.

Should I say our strike force is hotter than Belgium or should just close my mouth sef huh lipsrsealed
Of course, we trump them in the striking department. Their best is Lukaku and his be in matched by our Simmy who plays in the same league with him, and for the worst team in the league.

Statistically, Mertens, Batshuayi, Benteke et al, have nothing on Moffi, Iheanacho and Osimhen. When you compare their other strikers who play in a lesser fancied leagues to our guys, then we will throw up the likes of Onuachu and Sadiq

JohnBullMySon:
Oh boy, that Moffi is hot oh. If he enters and score Hattrick for Naija, Osimhen fit begin see bench.
Calm down, currently, Osimhen is the most complete striker we have, as he can play alone as a point man or alongside another striker. So far, it seems Moffi does better partnering another striker upfront. Hence, we can try to form a synergy between him and Osimhen as we are currently experimenting a partnership of Nacho and Osimhen upfront. He will also do pretty good playing alongside Sadiq

Dessers would have gone to Belgium grin grin grin. He can still change as he's not tied down yet. But if he sticks with Naija, nah 2028 World Cup qualifers oh grin
Dessers would prolly have been considered as Belgium's third choice striker after his Eredivisie exploit if he had chosen them, because he is clearly equal or better than Belgium's other strikers behind Lukaku and Mertens.
