do4luv14: i dont want to talk about Ahmad, cos he isnt clean, and if not for pinnick, this ongoing Afcon might had been thrown into chaos, which may result to it being postponed
its pinnick recommandation that was adopted, which sees fifa taking over, thats Afcon is holding so The bolded is supporting my view, he is succeeding in endearing himself to the heart of FIFA, this will in turn favour him and make Ahmad the black sheep. Lets watch this drama as it unfolds. |

U heard it from here first, Pinnick has his eyes on CAF seat as the supremo. Man is a gaddem politician and he knows his onions. I can see his antics, dude is setting Ahmad up for failure, gradually and should Ahmad get caught in the web, Pinnick would smile. He had his reasons for putting Ahmad in that seat, and then get himself rooted as the assistance after Ghana's Nyantaki ouster. I smell a rat, especially with the probe Ahmad is facing now. |

komekn: How did you come to that conclusion ❓
Osimhen has played effectively one season of first team competitive football. He has scored 11 goals in the Belguim league and is in the top ten top scorers. The top scorer in that league had 20 goal.
Osimhen did very well but he his not the best or youngest striker or in the top 5 in that league. It's a VERU GOOD start for his first real season of first team football.
Now he has to build on that performance his next club is very crucial. He must not follow the €€€€£££ signs. He is still developing so needs to get a lot of game time and not become a reserve striker in a big club and therefore stagnate his progression.
In one sweep you have dismissed Ighalo, Onyekuru, Musa, etc Players who have been tested and tried over a few seasons and have performed in thier respective clubs and leagues.
You show no respect to these players. Seriously komekn u making me proud these few days, u making alot of sense, honestly. I just hope u dont go back to that figure that makes me go wild. Bro I KPOM this ur post jor, u just spoke objectively like a man who knows the game inside out. But for now I must commend semid4lyfe. His list is doing magic |

I wish we participated in that 1996 Afcon, abacha see wetin you cause, ehn, see wetin you cause...ok... I wonder why they are giving that boy airtime, South Africa aint worth it. They want a footie rivalry with us, but they aint got what it takes. I can take a Ghanaian, Ivorian, Egyptian et al who can give us a regale of points to debate on, but, SA? Maybe I am being chesty like they always make of us, that makes them feel we show unwarranted important of over bearing pride, but, guy I maintain standards, SA, I reiterate aint in that class FOOTBALLICALLY, to argue with me as a Nigerian, maybe, politically. |

Humility017: because you Didnt watch the last game... it is not about your height that tells if you're a good header of the ball... sometimes you still need to position and add force to it whenever you head the ball...
onachu is like tall for nothing...he barely can't do that. Dude, Southgate was right, Onuachu never got any good crosses. We never took advantage of his height in that match, reason I missed Kalu in that encounter. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 4:21pm On Jun 29, 2019 |
komekn: I am quite SHOCKED that after all you have read here and exposure to informed substantive commentary.
You made the proposition in bold.
Onuachu is quite possibly the tallest player in AFCON. Because he has height and most importantly aerial dominance. He has positioned himself in that area cohere has the most competitive advantage.
A ball crossed to him in that area is not 50/50 but more like 70/30.
Its a big shame that our wi gers lack capacity and cannot cross q ball properly. Pin point accuracy is simply not within thier ability.
A ball delivered correctly to Onuachu has a good chance of being a goal.
Onuachu has good positioning and spatial awareness. However can any of our wingets cross the ball accurately, with pace and pin point accuracy ❓
In his last game l don't think he got any accurately delivered cross. Bravo komekn, Bravo. I know say I no dey too agree with u, but, in this case, my hat's off. Agreed without any iota of reservation. The list seems to be doing wonders already |

TheSuperNerd: Afcon Talk
Morocco's starting no.9 is a 21-22 years old Youssef En-Nesyri of Leganes CF in La Liga yet they have a vastly experienced Khalid Boutaib on the bench.
I feel in time same will happen for Nigeria. In Osimhen, I strongly believe we have a true heir to Yekini's throne. His youth should not be despised. The lad is ready to lead the line. His scoring stats and wicked improvements over the past months show it. He dropped down to the U-23 and singled handedly turned the Libya tie in our favor showing his talents are really too much for the U-23 level which of course is a good thing. He is a born scorer, a ready made warrior upfront and he is fearless and above all, very Clinical.
Osimhen's time is near. It is his era now. Ighalo should be ready to make way at the latest after this Afcon. Ighalo is experienced and suited to African Jam body football... Yes, I agree. But Osimhen also knows how to go rough and physical while also applying intelligent Clinicality in front of goal. Despise not the Precocious.
Note: My personal wish is for Nigeria to win it and Ighalo to be top scorer continuing his top scorer form from the Qualifiers but I know Osimhen is his upgrade for both now an in the long run. U were here when I was raving about him this past season, they(Icon4s especially) said I was over rating Morocco. I have been following the boy because of Omeruo. Did u see his record breaking hattrick in the laliga? I tell u bro, En Nesryi is good. Both foot are working and he is a very big threat in the air, his positioning is KPOM also |
