TheSuperNerd: Well, the Ejiofor Family have 3 boys in La Masia. David Obinna (14), Divine Ikenna (12) and Destiny Kosiso (9). The first 2 are forwards it seems.
Honestly, it's hard but time will tell. I don't bank on kids born and bred abroad. The only players I have my money on are the players born/bred in Nigeria and moved abroad because of football |

Barca no fit just buy one Nigerian youngster to help us build one quality midfielder? Looking at the plethora of crazy midfielders they just harnessed recently and the abundance still waiting to explode from La Masia, I'm left very envious of Spain and I wish they could help us build just one. |

TheSuperNerd: Flying Eagles renew moves to get Premier League defender for U20 AFCON
https://scorenigeria.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/benjamin-fredrick-brentford-solo.jpg *Benjamin Frederick - Flying Eagles want him for U20 Afcon
SCORENigeria has learnt that Flying Eagles will make another attempt to get Premier League defender Benjamin Fredrick for the U20 AFCON after they failed to get him for the WAFU B qualifiers.
It was learnt that Fredrick from Premier League club Brentford is a priority addition to the team for the U20 AFCON to be staged in South Africa in January.
The Flying Eagles successfully retained their sub-regional championship courtesy of a 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Ghana in the final, but there is an urgent need to strengthen the team for the U20 AFCON.
Fredrick caught the eye at the 2023 U20 AFCON in Egypt, where the Flying Eagles finished third to qualify for the U20 FIFA World Cup in Argentina.
He is still eligible for next year’s U20 World Cup to be hosted by Chile from September.
The decision to recall him has been further caused by the need for reinforcement in central defence.
Captain Daniel Bameyi was drafted into the heart of the back four on account of a dearth in talent.

We have a quality young striker coming through in Kparobo Arierie. The way he wraps his foot round the ball to strike is majestic, and he does that effortlessly with either feet. Aerially too, he is superb. |

I think Xabi Alonso was robbed of the Best Coach of the year award.
Bayer Leverkusen won the club's first Bundesliga title after going unbeaten through out the season , They won the DFB Pokal, and only lost one game (the Europa League final) in 53 games last season 😮
Has any coach ever had such a fantastic record in a season? |

Normally, e get some kind names I go see on a list, then I go check the name that assembled the list and make up my mind on whether na waste of time or not.
As long as sports in Nigeria is concerned, we know where to get the runners, the boxers and the footballers. Generally, the south do better in football, the north seem better suited for long distance races. Our best footballers have come from the East, South South, south west and middle belt. Nothing concern a Kebbi, Yobe, Kano etc boy with football, normally. Even southern boys born in those core northern states, no dey sabi play football. See the likes of Uche Agbo born and bred in Kano. You named a list of players with little to no Edo and Delta boys? lol
This team right here is just a waste of time. |

TheSuperNerd: Naija Talents Watch: Ebenezer Harcourt, GK, 15yrs *Currently 14 but will be 15 by October 21.
Prodigious Ebenezer starred for Sporting Lagos football academy at the 2024 Gothia Cup in Sweden and he was truly a rock at the back leading Sporting lagos to cleansheets across their first 4-5 games before finally conceeding in the semi finals vs fellow Nigerian side, Beyond Limits FC in a 5-4 win.
He is already noted for his excellent shot stopping, penalty stopping and decent game reading skills. Still young and tender, he will serve as second choice to Nathaniel Nwosu at the Wafu B U20 Afcon Qualifying Tournament kicking off tomorrow.
His tournament winning performances at the Gothia Cup 2024 places him as one of the finest GK Prospects in Nigeria in the U20 and U17 categories.
Hoping his development continues nicely. Nwosu and his cohorts have no business being part of this team. This young Harcourt of a boy has no business being on the bench for Nwosu. |

CAF is the most useless federation in the world. This nonsense has been going on for years, especially with the club sides. Enyimba saw worse in this same Lybia. These animals that call themselves Arabs should be kicked out of CAF. After all, they don't see themselves as Africans. |

The game should be cancelled and rescheduled to be played on a neutral ground, and Lybia should be fined heavily by CAF.
I actually doubt the NFF president could see to this because his judgement will most definitely be beclouded by religion. |
