One thing is unique about lagos as a city ..


At one extreme end of the spectrum you can find an expensive lifestyle, dominated by the rich and the wealthy, on the other extreme of the spectrum you will find abject poverty in its real practical definition dominated by those with real low low income or no income at all...two square meal a day is a major headache ...

And at the middle ..you find the not too rich and not too poor individuals ..one trying to get to the rich and wealthy Class while the other running away from the poverty stricken life.

Lagos is a clear sample of the Nigerian economy. .and that is why it is qualified to be used as a measuring index ..
