adisaaowala: What about Martial who has been largely anonymous ?? How can he when he's always outnumbered with no support from the team? Young should go to that LB and Rashford comes in. |

N'Golo Kante trained as an accountant in his native France
N'Golo Kante has revealed that he is a trained accountant, and that he worked towards the qualification because he was not sure if he would make it as a professional footballer.
Kante has been a revelation since moving to the Premier League, winning the title for Leicester and Chelsea in both of his full seasons in England.
However, he endured a long journey to reach that level, and spent time in the French amateur leagues.
Kante said: "I was at Boulogne, in the second team - the sixth, then the fifth division. I wasn't professional, so I kept studying because I wasn't sure if I would be able to make a living as a footballer.
"When I was 18, I got my baccalaureate [the French A-Level equivalent] and after that I did two more years of study in accountancy.
"When I went up to the first-team, I became professional, so I stopped studying. I got my qualification in accountancy, but now I prefer to concentrate on football."
The story only serves to highlight the meteoric rise of Kante, who was a relative unknown before moving to Leicester in the summer of 2015.
The French midfielder was nominated for the Ballon d'Or for the first time on Monday.
King Kantelele.... Good for him, means he will use his money well |

L'pool since Klopp still have the best record against the top 6 teams. Not an easy game especially at Anfield. My concern is our depleted midfield. The team should be quick in passing the ball and off the ball movt cos of L'pool's pressing. Their defence makes things easy though |

Real Madrid are prepared to offer former Tottenham players Luka Modric, 32, and 28-year-old Gareth Bale, as well as forward Karim Benzema, 29, to Spurs as part of a swap deal for striker Harry Kane, 24. (Diario Gol, via Daily Star)
Is Kane now 3 in 1 If true, Spurs shouldn't waste time. |

sinizia: Exactly my fears and why I wanted him benched with the trio of Matic, Fellaini and Hererra starting. He can be cautioned to keep it simple or Lingard starts. With the defence L'pool has Jose should be starting Martial Lukaku Rashford. |

dubylhover: micki benched?? the only midfielder we have who can run and move with the ball? yes he's had a dip in form but I sure as hell won't bench him and I don't expect mou to My main concern with Miki is the rate at which he loses possession and in a high intensity game which we're expecting on Sat will probably increase. |

Odunharry: I told u.. What we saw ws complete Dominance. Christensen was solid for Shekpe yesterday, Willian, oh Lord.(Headless running). Couldn't believe when I saw him take the ball back to his own player instead of him attacking at City goal.
Long may Shekpe woes continue Mehn, the pressing was too much. They were depending on getting goal via counter/error/set pieces like vs Spurs. I gave up when I saw Willian for Morata. The best thing is to try and bypass that City midfield cos the defence always present opportunities. |

Leyqute: Can't help but think Rashford will be very lethal if he can train to cross and shoot with his left. That RW will suddenly come alive.
He could cut back after a blistering run and put the ball in the back of the net on either side of the pitch.
It's what he's always wanted to do. Or maybe Jose doesn't fancy starting the 2 and needs one as backup on the bench cos they're our attack and if both are on the pitch, who does he call upon from the bench? |
