Most likely Jose is after a holding MF that can bring the ball out from the defence; to do Carrick's job. Herrera will be played more upfront and asked to press from there which is good with his little attacking contributions. My problem with Matic is that he has been poor defensively and very slow therefore Herrera is the most reliable DM in that MF.

If Martial and Rashford must start, then we have to make do without Mkhitaryan and Mata, it isn't easy to be Mourinho now.

Martial will probably spend more time on the bench and deputise Rashford and I pity for him cos it's obvious to all Rashford is playing better, unless Jose makes Rash our 2nd CF to be substituting Lukaku which is very unlikely.

Well I do agree with us pulling out of the deal because its obvious they never quoted 70m to us. They must have insisted on DDG in return for Morata and we told them where to go and got Lukaku. That I'm happy with because it means we won't be doing any business with Real anytime soon. Lukaku isn't my favorite but he's proven he's a very good goalscorer so we can't really ask for more than that.

Morata is for me best as a sub striker. Forget that he scores when he comes on to pad his stats, he lacks that presence/aggression you need in a CF to lead the line. I'm glad Costa is gone. They'll see the difference soon.

Bale? I preferred Bale when he was slimmer, younger AND marauding down the Spurs LEFT flank. This muscular, injury prone, inverted winger version is a bit suspicious.

My problem with having Dembele is lack of experience n poor decisions. Having him with Martial on the left will most likely give us beautiful football with nothing at the end. I prefer only a young player in attack at a time. It helps not to put much pressure on them to deliver n they're also guided.
