That deepness also requires that you don't rush out high the pitch too quickly from a defensive situation which is not cleared. There is always tendency for someone to be left behind. We played young men along Vidic, Ferdi and Brown, we never had these situations. I have lost count how any times we have had this since Vidic and co left. Butner, Blakket, Jackson have all made us to concede. Last season and this season, I have seen Valencia, Shaw, Blind, Rojo all made same mistakes, although we didn't concede.

Those days in our local football, the centre backs always called everyone out. There was always a watching out for one another. If you aren't coming out to draw a straight offside trap (line), someone must call your name immediately.

You are right. But I am sure if it was Smalling who was closest to he would have still have the awareness that he wasn't offiside. Even sharp offiside was not something to be encouraged at that time of the game because it could lead to mistakes. Remember how Chelsea defended against Barca in Camp Nou, the were not looking to catch Barca offiside at the slightest opportunity.

Barcelona play free flowing attacking football with a very high defensive line. Usually they leave their two centre defenders isolated because they attack and defend from the front even with their full backs.

A typical Arsenal side can easily bypass the midfield with quick, sleek passing. With a big CF as Giroud we have a target man for long balls, Giroud's ability to hold up play will keep Barca's defenders busy, not just jittery.

INJURY UPDATE

Phil Jones, who will celebrate his 24th birthday later this month, has been training with the first team and is close to making his comeback ahead of Sunday’s match at Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League.

Long-term absentees Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia are also making good progress in their rehabilitation, although Bastian Schweinsteiger is still recovering from the injury he sustained during the Emirates FA Cup third-round win over Sheffield United on 9 January.

“There is some light at the end of the tunnel, I think,” the manager told MUTV at the Aon Training Complex on Friday afternoon. “Jones is coming back. He has trained today [Friday] with the first team so that's good. Rojo is doing well. It's not that he can train with us but, still, he is doing well. Are the questions in Manhattan 5lb books real GRE questions... Cos i just did one small test maths of 37 questions ans i got 34 correctly which could pass for a 166...and its just to test my current abilities... First one got 18/20..second 24/25...now 34/37...cos they look quite easy and I'm just wondering if these were the kind of things they ask in real GRE
