Benz gets replaced in many games because he fizzles out unlike the likes of Suarez, Drogba who drag their teams to the very last minute.

There has always been exceptional strikers with different characteristics.
Drogba is a modern striker, but he can't play so much with the ball, but he was deadly nonetheless.

Those guys were aggressive strikers who weren't on the same level with Benz in anyway.

How many times have you seen Benz score from outside the 18 yard box?
How many difficult goals does he score?

As at when United beat Brugges, they were stronger than PSV because they both competed in Europa with Brugges going as far as quarter final while PSV lost in group stage. A long the line their oppositions criss crossed and Brugges did strongly. Brugges went into UCL qualifying series and did superb well until we met them. At the time they had not lost any home game in ten European matches, winning their last match three nil.

I don't like using the word fair to describe life and i don't think i used it here. I prefer unlucky and lucky. Comparing the damage, LVG is lucky to still have a job. Yes every club has expectation, DM failed to meet the standard at united and deservedly got sacked. But LVG after spending over 250m pounds and turning the team to a magnificient shit should be sacked for exiting the CL in the group stage.

Moyes is not Uniteds level, so has Gaal also turned out.
But on the basis of how DM was kicked out, LVG is a lucky man. He has spent 20X more than DM, he tweaked the whole team, sold off all our utility players. Nani currently is the best player in Turkey, Chicharito is banging in Bundesliga, he sold Rafael and is now stock with Varela(WTF!!), he wasted huge sum on Falcao and recorded bizarre loss on Di maria. Despite all these atrocities, he's not yet sacked, isn't he lucky? I called LVG a lucky man for escaping the rope after so many gaffes and people are here yarning dust. Moyes is unlucky because he got sacked for a much lesser evil.

What is the point of all these Moyes vs LVG arguments? Is it not possible that they are both totally wrong for United?
The fact that LVG has been horrendous does not erase the uselessness and cluelessness of Moyes as a manager.
The fact that LVG is failing does not mean sacking Moyes was the wrong move, we could have sacked Moyes AND employed a better manager than LVG has turned out to be.
