we won't see the best of him till he clocks 21/22.
he's more of a potential than an instant hit. if he works on his finishing though, he might get 12-18 league goals this season. we have a plethora of creative players. finishing chances is our biggest problem. we played better than swansea but they were more clinical in front of goal.

I will worry if we are not creating those chances.... It is frightening to create 22 chances in a game, converting a couple will happen, we are capable as we are!

forget. Better to create one and convert than 20 and not score. Chances give you no point.

Arsenal with all their chances created this season has scored only one by even their CF.

You see with Arsenal, I am not on the bandwagon of 'we need a new striker and all of that crap' because of the goal sharing potential we have in that team

It is simple, United are not doing well as a unit, it is easy to blame a single player, yes Rooney has been poor but to blame him entirely for your woes is absolutely daft!

I don't think there is any other team better than us in the attacking realm of the MF, if those players we play there perform consistently.

Sharing goals is absolutely essential... You just cant rely on the CF to do it all...

By the time your attacking MFs weigh in with the odd few each, your CFs nick a couple and your full backs too, you are looking at a lot of goals over the course of the football season!

Yes, goals should be shared and it has been in United both last season and this season. Our two midfielders have scored the two goals we've now. How many did he even score as a CF last season when we had our best run of games?

Which other top team in epl has a CF yet to score this season? No team wins a major trophy without the CF scoring/assisting 60-70% of the team’s goals. What then is his job if he's not scoring or assisting? Running around like a headless chicken?

Januzaj to BvB. Hope we're getting a player from them or is this man still on his trimming philosophy without replacement.

a non-risk taker is unlikely to be exceptional. He remains average which is okay for midtable teams. Just like he thinks the team passing sideways means controlling the game.

LvG many changes to a team from last season that was already having a good cohesion is stvpid. Introduction of Darmian and Schnerderlin would have been enough while others are introduced gradually.

Against swansea, he didn't have to dribble or play a dangerous pass, all he had to do was stab the ball on 3 or 4 diff occassions and he failed woefully, he didn't just assist us in losing, he assisted the opponent to win, thats how bad he was. If i had 36mil, i'll risk it on a prodigy than stick with a so called professional striker who can't evn stab the ball talk more shooting it. He caresses, he caresses, he adjusts, he adjusts a bit more, he dresses, and next thing he's rolling all over the place and runs to the refree to plead passionately for a pk. Damn! Once again i'll take my chances with a 36m prodigy because i am certain he can shoot the ball since its one of the basic things in soccer.

I'd rather such money is spent on players here in the league ; Mahrez and Austin would give us immediate impact than a lad similar to what we already have in Depay and Januzaj.

#MUFC now really do have just one proven striker. Javier Hernandez has tonight agreed a 3-year deal and been sold to Bayer Leverkusen
