I would have been okay with a draw. It was a tricky match and we needed to carry on with little adjustments. I didn't like it when I saw Blackett coming in for Shaw. My thought was that we retained an experienced left back. Although it looks like it was Carrick was gave the ball away for the goal, I would say with experienced men we could have defended better.

I think Shaw and Blind should have just swapped positions. Then Rooney to striking position while Di Maria drops to midfield. At least he would have been protected by Blind and Shaw.

I think Gaal wants Shaw to fight for only LWB. The left back might just have been reserved for Rojo and Blind.

We lost in a bid to play better than we were doing. Herrera and Blackett were to help us string passes better, but I didn't think they helped our game.

I don't have much to say. A draw would have been okay.

Is Blackett even good in possession?. He only hoofs it.

Why didn`t he pair Rooney with RVP when he knew that Falcao isn`t going to be available?
He shouldn`t have substituted RVP.

Has been clear Rafael and Shaw are not wingbacks. He paired Di maria and RvP though but why sub RvP when Falcao isn't available.

Was clear from the FA Cup that he and Rafael are not. Why play him there(since he has sworn to use 3-5-2) when Blind is available.

More like a training session with so many unfit players.

I never wanted Fletcher near the squad though would have wanted Herrera on the line-up.

Blind is playing as the LCB.
