Akpakomiza2:
Which tribal interest is that? Atiku dies not serve core northern tribal interests sir. They are more northerners in apc
Atiku? We're talking about Buhari here, remember?

The APC is a coalition of different political parties formed to wrest power from Goodluck Jonathan—a Southerner. It's therefore only natural that there are more Northerners in the APC, as it were. The objective was to return power to the North.

In the same way, you'll see more Northerners in the newly formed ADC because the sole objective of that coalition is also to return power to the North. This is why Peter Obi, or anyone from the South, won't emerge as the party’s presidential candidate—note it down somewhere.

Akpakomiza2:
True but he will never publicly come out against Tinubu in 2027
Don't be too sure about that — Buhari is not just a politician; he has strong tribal and regional tendencies. He wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice Tinubu to protect those interests. That was exactly what he attempted during the party primaries, where Tinubu eventually emerged as the party's presidential candidate against all odds.

Akpakomiza2:
Did he say so publicly at any time
How did you expect him to say being the party leader at the time? He said he had no anointed or preferred candidate which was the right thing to say as a leader but the obvious truth was that he did not want Tinubu to emerge as the party flag-bearer— his body language and actions attested to it.

He did during the party's primaries! So tell me what has changed?

I can bet anyone — Buhari is a member of the coalition too! And please, note this down somewhere; Obi is not getting its ticket — it's North versus South. Believe it or not,Tinubu is several miles ahead of these people — e go shock them!

Granger:
That’s just sad they should have pulled the plug once they found out he was brain dead. His chances of ever regaining consciousness were always next to none. It’s just unending suffering for the family.
Chairman,Jean-Pierre Adams was not brain dead. He was in a coma (persistent vegetative state), which is different. Being brain dead means there’s no possibility of recovery, and life support is only maintaining organ function temporarily. Adams was kept alive because there was still some minimal brain function.

Being brain dead means being clinically dead — there is no brain activity, and recovery is medically impossible. If Jean-Pierre had been brain dead, he would not have been placed on oxygen or kept alive for decades. He was kept on life support precisely because there was hope he might regain consciousness.

It's medically impossible to revive anyone/patient who is brain dead — the person is gone forever! Of course, only God can do what's impossible for man to do.

Politics › Re: FG Opens Portal For Overstaying Foreigners To Regularise Before August by Christlike01: 7:41pm On Jul 01, 2025
A very large percentage of the people in northern Nigeria are actually foreigners from neighboring countries such as Chad, the Niger Republic, the Benin Republic, Mali, Senegal, and others. A significant majority—well over 70%—of the "Iron Konde," herdsmen, security guards (mai-guards), and Okada riders (often referred to as Aboki) seen in the southern part of Nigeria are, in fact, not Nigerians but immigrants from other countries.

However, if you ask any one of them where they are from, they will often claim places like Sokoto, Kano, Kebbi, or Kaduna—all within northern Nigeria.

How long can we continue like this—where virtually anyone from a neighboring country can walk into Nigeria unchecked and begin to contribute to societal challenges?

Northern Nigeria has increasingly become a major Achilles’ heel in Nigeria’s journey toward progress. It is a region whose issues, often under the guise of religious or cultural identity, are creating significant setbacks for the entire country all in desperation to have a political edge over the southern part. This situation must be addressed.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Iran Gave Russia Drones But Gets No S-400s In Return, Ex-mp Says by Christlike01: 1:43pm On Jul 01, 2025
Russia will never support Iran, not any country, against Israel — here's why:

It’s unrealistic to believe that Russia would ever support Iran against Israel. Why do some people ignore history?

Russia has long-standing cultural and historical ties with the Jewish people. St. Petersburg, for instance, is home to a significant Jewish community—second only to Israel in its Jewish presence. Hebrew is spoken widely across the city—in the streets, offices, shops, and cafes. In fact, a large portion of today’s Jewish population in Israel traces its roots back to Russia.

President Putin is a highly conservative leader who understands history deeply. He is well aware of the enduring bond between Russians and Jews—one that is not easily broken.

As for the recent conflict, it was ultimately in Iran’s best interest—especially for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei—that the war was brought to a swift end. Had it continued, the consequences for Iran and some of its people could have been devastating.

When it comes to achieving outstanding success and greatness, think Yoruba first! They are always the pacesetters—they don't even settle for second place! Hate them or love them, Yoruba people are a special breed of Africans—they are even bigger than the continent! This is why I often laugh when some primitive beings from that tiny, erosion-ravaged land of cannibal-infested evil forests think they can measure up to the great Lukumi Yoruba Omoluabi. It's just impossible!

Foreign Affairs › Re: 'Israeli Spies': Iran Intensifies Mass Deportations Of Afghan Refugees by Christlike01: 11:21am On Jul 01, 2025
This is what happens when there is no clear-cut, result-oriented goal in dealing with daredevil Islamists. President Trump did not handle the 12-day Israel-Iran war very well—regime change should have been the ultimate objective. There will never be genuine peace in that region, or in the wider world, as long as the highly fanatical Islamic regime of the Ayatollahs continues to hold power in Iran. Regime change in Iran is the only path to lasting peace and stability in the Middle East—fanatics should never be allowed to hold power anywhere in the world.

Anytime I look at her, I laugh — such a highly delusional lady! She’s waiting for her perfect man — very rich, highly educated, princely handsome, well-connected, powerful, gentle — a bit of a mungu — highly sociable, well-travelled, etc., to appear from nowhere and take her to the moon for her wedding! She is my sister-in-law — a truly delusional being! She’ll be 40 this year and is still swimming in her delusion. She once asked why I always laughed whenever I saw her — if only she knew her delusion was the reason!
Family › Re: How Do You Immediately Detect That Someone Is From A Poor Family? by Christlike01: 2:37pm On Jun 27, 2025
When you hear a ridiculous statement like, "I can feed your entire family!"—it's all about attitude. A drum filled with water makes no sound, but an empty one makes the loudest noise.

This kind of attitude is common among certain people from a particular region of the country—the so-called "billionaires." They simply don't fit the image they're trying to project or the narrative they want you to believe. Their inadequacy is immediately noticeable. They are never who or what they claim to be—their attitude always betrays them.
